After having a hard month I found myself without enough money to cover food. I called got an appointment brought everything they asked. When I showed up the ladies at the front desk treated me awful. They were rude and down right unkind. When I went back for my intake the lady all but made fun of me for being my age on disability. ( I have a heart/lung condition) . I have never in my life been treated so disrespectful. I left in tears and I am not someone who cries easily. There is nothing about this place that is Christian. read more

History
Established in 1986.
Area Churches Together Serving (ACTS) began serving clients on August 4, 1986 with sixteen local churches participating. It was obvious in the beginning that there was a need for an organization such as ACTS. Presently, there are approximately 67 churches involved in the work that we do.
Volunteers serve the Lord by handling the needs of people who come to ACTS. An attempt is made to meet both the physical and spiritual needs when clients are interviewed. They are encouraged to become part of a church of their choice, thus making that church aware of their needs.
A daily morning prayer is conducted and Clients are invited to join in if they choose to do so.
