Dropped off some donations here and the Goodwill employee was friendly with helping us unload the bags. They still give you tax receipts for drop offs, but there is also an option to scan yourself so you can go paperless. Went inside for a quick look for a specific clothing uniform item (unsuccessful). The clothing area itself was organized enough generally by type and size. There are a few dressing rooms on the side of the store. I was surprised to find quite a few items inside that were NWT. Most of the dresses were priced around $15, the clothing was mostly around $6. Just as with any of these types of stores, if you have the patience to look you may get a really good deal. read more

My Husband, my Mom and I were on the hunt for Master's merchandise. We are from OR and we were going to the Master's the next day but wanted to see what we could find here for cheaper if we could. My Husband the type of shopper who is a find it and let's go type of guy, scored big time. He found a Jordan North Carolina polo shirt, some golf polos and some golf pants. My Mom and I found some things for my daughters but no Master's merchandise. My Mom was bummed that they only had one set day for a senior discount, her Goodwill in her city in OR has a discount everyday for seniors. She did say the prices were higher here too, than OR. We don't have sales tax in OR, so that maybe why she said that too. The lady that opened the dressing room and the lady that checked us out were both super sweet. read more

There is no Goodwill in this Goodwill. I've loved this location for ten years...because of its location it's easy to stop by often and see what what goodies I can find. I've recently found out that they have an online website where they sell the good donations never going onto the floor...leaving the leftovers for the customers...and as of the last couple of years the prices have almost tripled... not on just a few areas in the store but in every department if you will... tee shirts average ten dollars...seriously? I can go right across the street to TJ Max and buy brand new ones for way less...cmon every item in the store was a donation... in others words the donations are free...I was told by the manager when asked why the prices are so drastically high now and was told it was due to inflation. .. how can inflation. possibly have and effect on items being free. and if you read the above reviews you'll see I am not alone in my thinking...it's truly sad. Its no wonder the CEO makes a six figure salary. Again... there is no goodwill in this Goodwill. read more

This is an update . My gosh what has happened to Goodwill ? The prices are outrageous now and I can go and get new clothes for what they are charging for used clothing . I will never shop Goodwill again . I will not support a business that thinks poor people can afford these prices . read more

The prices are reasonable. $5-$6 per article of clothing is not new clothing prices. Inventory cos well (enough) organized to make it easy to shop. I go there often. read more

Extremely rude employee. I was helping my toddler onto a tricycle in this store to see if he could reach the pedals. Debra, an older Black lady with short hair and thick glasses, made a beeline and asked if we planned on buying the tricycle. At this point my wife and I were unsure and said so. Debra then told us our toddler was not allowed to play with the tricycle, and ripped it from his hands, leading to a crying fit. Let me describe metaphorically why this is bananas: "You can't sit on that tricycle unless you're going to buy it." Becomes "You can't hold that shirt up unless you're going to buy it." Or "You can't move those shoes from the rack unless you're going to buy them." We had a full cart. We have spent at least $600 at this Goodwill over the past few months. We were regular shoppers here until this incident; it's not like we were treating the store as a daycare or playroom. We were in the store for all of ten minutes before Debra's gallant police action. We will spread the word and we won't be back without an apology. How ridiculous it is that even older people behave so embarrassingly in 2019. read more

I'm just disappointed, that's it. I'm obsessed with Goodwill, most of the time I find good stuff there. So whenever I see one I haven't been to yet, I have to make a stop to go in. So, when my husband and I moved to Aiken, I was so excited to find a Goodwill! Then we went in. The prices are outrageous. Goodwill is not usually as expensive as this one is, unfortunately, I still needed new clothes (new to me anyway) for a new job I was starting, and so I figured this was still my best option. The check out line is so long and the employees take forever to check out one customer. I understand Goodwill is known for hiring people with disabilities but when you have a line that stretches all the way around the store...you'd think you'd need to step your game up just a little bit. Anyways, this particular Goodwill doesn't exactly have the nicest employees, either. Two or three that I've seen the two times I went here were decent, but most of them were kind of rude...I'm going to try my best to avoid this location from now on. Pray for me to need be so desperate as to not go back! read more

Up until my most recent trip here, I have received basic service and felt that most of their "better" items were picked through. However, this past trip proved otherwise. Staff were much friendlier, even offering me an additional cart to continue shopping with. I also found so much more clothing items that were of value and in great condition compared to past shopping trips. The dressing rooms were a disaster though. An enormous amount of empty hangers spread out all over the place with clothes everywhere as well. read more

I shop and donate here often and I just love the employees. They always help me with my boxes when I donate, I usually dont have to lift a finger. The sales people are always freindly and they give me updates on upcoming specials. They have a great 99 cent Monday. The selection of clothing is mostly mall brands however if you search thoroughly you can find some real gems. The prices are reasonable on the clothing, and fair on everything else. read more

I was in goodwill yesterday. I was behind a woman who already had her purchase bagged, The cashier as well with me assumed that transcion was over. I started to put my things on counter and cashier noticed her purchased had not been paid for. This woman was still shopping nowhere near register. They finally opened another register and told me i could move my stuff there. I have a serious health condition that prohibits me from lifting anything over 5 lbs or standing to long. Recently got out of hospital. My husband was waiting just beyond checkouts to carry my packages. I just left store with out buying anything. I as many who have heard this story feel that this woman's actions should have been voided and let me continue with my purchase, as she as holding up many people waiting for this register. It was the only one open at the time. I expect an apology from management. Management can be sent to my email taterbug2@hotmail.com. Employees are rude. If you want clothes, this Goodwill has a modest selection, but it's nothing to write home about. Toys, books, housewares, etc., don't give you much to choose from. I could excuse all of this if the employees weren't so bad. The building is nice and clean, so if you're more concerned about appearances than customer service, then come on by. read more

If nothing else, I scored both an Hermes and Ferragamo tie for $1 apiece. Aside from that, this is a pretty small Goodwill location, not quite befitting of the "Goodwill Emporium" title on the exterior. read more

Nasty, rude female did not lift a finger to remove a number of boxes of items I donated. In fact she saw me drive up and was just standing around with her male helper. She closed the door and went back in the drive thru when I pulled up. Both she and the helper did nothing while I stood there. I had to go to the door and ask them if they were going to accept the donation. Previously the middle aged men have been nothing but nice in the last three trips. This time these two, at lunchtime, were far more interested in each other than in accepting a donation. The female was as surly as she could be and walked off. Her helper wanted to make excuses for not doing his job. Don't waste your time at Goodwill, go to the Aiken SPCA Thriftstore. Animals appreciate what you do for them. read more

Most prices are ok BUT, prices on electronics are too high , about 50 % too high. Also, I saw a flea market type socket set for $17.02 last week that you could buy at the flea market new for half that . I no longer visit as much as I have in the past. read more
