Lately, though, I've had some great experiences at this one. They have an ever-changing selection of rugs, at great prices, as well as some nice furniture. If you take some time to look, you often can find a really nice piece - like the reclaimed wood side table I got last time in there. Their kitchen selection is huge and really well stocked since they revamped the store last year. You can even score some really good hot sauces or spices. Bedding is hit or miss - as is the artwork selection. And here's a secret - one of the best things they have going these days - Dog beds. Really - they have tons of awesome 'donut' style beds for dirt cheap. My dog has a couple of expensive beds from fancypants brands - and without question prefers the $15 ones I've scored at HG. Checkout is very well run and generally quite friendly. Really the only 'ding' here is the damn parking lot - what a nightmare that is. It really sours the experience at any store in this shopping center.

Despite…read morehaving appt for "fitting", when I entered store another customer came in after, who received hearty greeting and spent time talking about her home renovations with 2nd sales person supposed to take my appt, while I stood waiting to be acknowledged by 2nd sales person. Even after first nice sales person told her I was waiting. Was given a bra that didn't fit, at all. Person supposed to take care of my appt continued to other dressing room to 2nd customer while I as trying one on. Think because I showed up in jeans and tee, not dressed up, she didn't realize was about to drop cashola to get right products. First sales person tried to convince me to stay (she was very nice), but, was miffed how 2nd sales person supposed to help with my first time ever appt, didn't handle. Won't waste time going back. Clearly the salesperson was more interested in the long-time client who walked in after me rather than honoring my appointment. Evidently, the salesperson doesn't understand how you get long-time clients is by treating each and every customer like they were rather than they are expendable and not worth their time. I selected one bra. Normally good salespeople will ask would you like additional items in that size or a different type. Nope, not this salesperson; because she was too busy picking out items to try on for her other client. I was willing to spend some decent money on a good set of bras. I reluctantly bought the one and really should have just left without buying anything. I will not be back.
