Although they do have a return policy, it is horrible. $800 is too much to pay for an item that may not work for an individual. Their return policy is such that if you open the packaging, you cannot return the item. Most elderly people need to be able to try something to know if it will meet their needs. This company is horrible. My mother tried to use their device one time without even using it fully. As soon as she sat on it, she realized it wasn't for her. Unfortunately, sitting on this device, cost her $800. Find another medical supplier. read more

Do not order if you have to exchange or return. I ordered two items, my total was about $970.00, had them in my possession for less than an hour before I called to get them returned. They advised me they don't exchange and to send them back and reorder. I had to pay for shipping to send them back, called several times and was told they were trashed and I wouldn't get any refund. Spent over $1000.00 and have nothing to show for it but wasted time and energy. Very frustrating as my son really needed the braces, now I am out $1000.00. read more

Please do not use this service. I ordered medical equipment for my mother and they charged my credit card but I never received the item I ordered. When I called, they basically said that they delivered it and if I didn't receive it there was nothing they could do about it. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company. I do not believe this is a reputable company. Just be careful. read more

I was a bit alarmed to find all the terrible reviews after I ordered an item. I ususally do a better job of researching. But I had hope because the majority of the bad ones were prior to 2020, some were really old, and during 2020 all medical suppliers were slammed. Happily, I had a really good experience. I ordered ten items. They all arrived in only three days, in good condition and were as advertized. The price was awesome and they were just what I needed. Since they got so many terrible reviews it seemed only fair to take the time to report a good experience. This is my first time buying with Active so hopefully will have same experience when/if I need the items again. read more

I received NO RESPONSE from customer service. i get an email stating that all parts were not in box and NO refund could be given, so i call them / keep in mind ,the email they sent me has NO contact name or phone number to discuss issue. So i looked them up and contactedthem . Customer service was very rude and would NOT return my item, father in law tried it once and they told me it was severely worn - NEVER WORN - didnt fit by the way- very odd. Then customer service changed the subject and said i didnt return it correctly by their policy standards and again extremely rude. would NOT recommend anybody using this company . Very sad read more

I ordered a rolling walker for my mother; I then sent an email inquiry two days later asking for an ETA. Cierra Mace (Customer Service Manager) responded the same day. Two days later the walker arrived!! I am very impressed; this all happened in early April during the CoronaVirus lockdown. At the same time Amazon said the earliest they could deliver the walker is in 21 days. Thank you Cierra!! read more

I thought I had found the most amazing site ever! Lot's of cool stuff, decent prices, free shipping, and would arrive quickly. I realized that i had ordered the wrong thing (my fault, I think I was too excited about these cool products and was moving too fast) so I called to cancel my order. I was told that there was no possible way of cancelling, that the order was already printed, packed, and put on the pallet for delivery. Although I am still not sure how this is possible, I had JUST ordered it. But okay. me: "So when it gets here... I'll just return it?" lady at Active Forever: "Well, here's what you have to do.. the day you receive it.. Not the next day, not the day after that, ONLY the DAY you receive it.. You give us a call. And we will most likely return it. There will be a return fee, and you will pay shipping, and we may not even be able to return it then, but we'll see." What? Not worth it, I only spent 30 bucks, but I just didnt want those things.. all I wanted was an exchange.. Weirdest return policy I've ever heard of. One star for having great reasonably priced items, one star for shipping my items so fast (if they really even did)... but thats about it. You cant run a business with this crappy of a return policy. read more

They immediately charge your credit card. I have a slightly different name for shipping than billing due to an ongoing domestic violence issue. They called to confirm I had placed the order and I confirmed everything about the order- shipping, billing names, addresses, etc. THIRTEEN DAYS LATER I received an email requesting copies of identifying information including a REQUEST FOR A COPY OF MY BANK STATEMENT! Not to mention I had paid for expedited shipping. Their delay caused my daughter to be without medically necessary nutrition. I am currently seeking a refund and have placed a dispute with my credit card company. I will NEVER do business with them again. I also discovered their physical address appears to be a virtual address: 6424 E Greenway Pkwy Ste 100, Scottsdale, AZ 85254-2045. read more

I should have checked reviews before ordering from ActiveForever! On a good note, prices were very competitive and I received the technical support from Drive before ordering hospital beds for my parents (do your homework ;-) However, I talked to ActiveForever sales and they told me the two Drive hospital beds (one with half rails; one with full rails) were in stock and would ship within 24 hours, however they were unsure when the order would process because it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, "perhaps not until Monday". I said that was fine and paid extra $29.98 for expedited shipping 2-4 days. The first bed surprisingly showed up on Monday (the day I thought the order was processing) to my parents tiny senior living apartment (no notification it shipped, tracking #, etc.) so we had to quickly move out furniture and make room for the new beds we thought were arriving in a few days. The second bed never showed. I've made several attempts to customer services, both over the phone, and on-line chat, and their attitude was "sorry, the second bed is on back order and will ship December 18th". I asked if they could at least ship the bed without rails for now (I think the rails were on b/o, but they never really confirmed so not 100% sure) and again, their attitude was "sorry, they are on back order". The worse customer service attitude I have ever dealt with. It would be so much better for everyone if ActiveForever would send e-mail notifications letting customers know their items are shipping, are on back-order, etc. A simple fix and easy communication (I hope they are reading this). I usually don't write reviews, but I feel compelled (and frustrated) to write this one as my 87 year old mother has to sleep in a recliner chair for 3-4 weeks so my 91 year old father can sleep in her bed. read more

The website descriptions and advertising is purposely misleading. I had bought the wrong item because the picture they showed was not what I was sent. I had called to try to return the item, but the staff said I would need to pay the shipping, and the restocking fee was a huge percentage of the item itself. Thus I was forced to order from them again to complete the item that I had wanted to begin with. But the items were shipped separately, and the second part did not arrive until 2 months later. Once I tried to assemble the parts, the rubber band just snapped. The price may look good, but the hassle in dealing with them is quite agonizing, extended, and the frustrations only end with a dysfunctional item. read more

Wow. Do not order from here. I ordered an item that was back ordered for several months. When I received it, it was the wrong item. When I called to ask them to exchange the item, they said "Well send a picture of the item, but it's not like I'm saying you're lying." Seriously? Well, I still want the correct item, so I did as I was asked, even though I was called a liar, and emailed a photo of the product sent to me. I called back the next day to follow up and got the same girl "Gabby" on the line and a runaround like I've never been runaround. When I asked to speak with the manager, she told me the manager was busy and Gabby said she'd call me back tomorrow with an update. When I pushed to speak with the manager she hung up on me. This company is terrible! My mom purchased a portable oxygen machine from them. It was brand new and not a cheap piece of medical equipment. However, as she suffers from pulmonary hypertension she is tied to an oxygen machine 24/7. This has naturally made her depressed and often feeling trapped. This machine was the answer to our prayers. It gave her around 4 hours of being able to be out and about without concerns of running out of air. Well, the machine has broken down three times and they've yet to replace it. They "repaired" it but it broke two times after. At this point they should replace it. However it's been a battle to get any answers from customer service and everyone she talks to makes her a different promise. It's been nothing but stress and disappointment! Horrible Experience. I ordered an item and requested next day delivered. Called the company to make sure they got my order and I was getting it the next day. (What I ordered I needed in a rush for a bed ridden family member). Well, when I called the company, I was told that the charge I paid for overnight was not correct. On top of the amount their website quotes for overnight, the manufacturer also charges an additional $129. So after disputing this, we came to an agreement to deliver it in 3 days. On the second day I called to make sure that item was shipped and guess what, NOT SHIPPED. So I would not be receiving it as promised. I was told I would have to wait until the following week and they were not sure when the manufacturer would ship it out. So bottom line it would take the normal 7 to 10 days to be delivered if I was lucky. Of course this was not acceptable so I decided to cancel my order because I really needed this item ASAP. ( I ordered it from WAYFAIR excellent service.) In addition, I asked Active Forever to sent back the payment to the third party company called Affirm, which I used to pay for this Item. I was told in 2 days it should all be cleared and I would get a notice telling me my account had been cleared. Well I called Affirm 2 days later and nothing was sent to them that I had canceled my order. Now is a week and 2 days later and I called Affirm again and nothing has been sent. So I called Active Forever and I was told that they submitted the paperwork and their waiting on Affirm to respond. As you and I know that means they probably sent it today. It is really endless. The only good experience about this whole situation was speaking with Greg. He really tried with all his superiors to help me get the item on time, but unfortunately his company and the manufacturer are very irresponsible. Greg should be working with a more reliable and respectable company. Not a company who cannot deliver what they promise. Thank God for this bad experience because I found WAYFAIR, Who actually delivered and I got the item at a lower cost. They have great customer service. I highly recommend them. read more

I purchased a Dust Mite Cover from this online company and was told it had a lifetime warranty that came with it. I contacted Activeforever.com on 12/20/12 for the first time and have yet to get anyone to help me. I have asked for a refund because the company that manufactured the Dust Mite Cover is no longer one of their customers and they refused. I have also contacted BBB and am awaiting a resolution. There are only two positive reviews (read: shills) for this company; both are from nearby in AZ. I bought socks from them. Not cheap socks, but $60+ Jobst socks. They developed a hole on the third wearing. I tried to contact customer service online, but they want you to call. After lots of calling and tons of time on hold, I got a guy who coud have cared less about my defective product. He said he would follow up with me later that day. I heard from him 2 days later, via an email addressed to an unknown woman (I am a guy) referencing an entirely different order. I responded to his silly email and have not heard from anyone since. We purchased two products from Active Forever for my 84 year old grandmother. They remained in the box, completely sealed, never was opened, never used. When she decided to return the products, the manager of Customer Service, Josh, said because of a 30 day return policy as well as an issue of hygiene, they wouldn't consider giving us a refund or our money back. NEITHER PRODUCT WAS EVER USED. I told the Josh at Active Forever that my grandmother was in her eighties, that she was on MediCare and that over $300 in purchases is a lot of money for her. Josh wouldn't budge on the issue. He also said that he WOULD NOT reevaluate their return policy. I believe that Active Forever has a shameful, disrespectful return policy. Take your business else where. Notice how the only positive reviews come from people in the Scottsdale, AZ area. Where is this business located??--the Scottsdale, AZ area. Hm. I too had ordered a product for a Christmas present, and was supposed to receive it in time. I didn't. After waiting for my product and not having heard from Active Forever, I finally received an email on January 7 from Amazon explaining that my product had never shipped and they are not going to charge my account. Thank god for Amazon. I contacted Active Forever and they informed me they had run out of the product and won't be receiving any more until the end of January. Awesome, thanks. Their customer service was a joke. Unresponsive, short, and NOT helpful. The name of the "Key Accounts Manager" was Debbie Dollar...I don't care who handles my account, and I understand there are woman (maybe even men) with the name Debbie Dollar, but this seems like a fictitious name for a "Key Accounts Manager". Have some accountability for yourself and your business. Maybe "Ivan Inventory" should have done a better job ensuring the product I wanted was available. Ps. This is my first review. I should have looked at the reviews before ordering from this company. I ordered the wrong item because it was not worded properly on their website. After receiving it I asked to return it. I was told that I would be charged for shipping both ways. I was also told that If I had looked at all the items they sold I would have noticed that the correct item cost more and since it was strictly my fault they wouldn't do anything for me. She said I should just keep the wrong product and order the right one. I asked them to please talk to a supervisor to ask if they could waive some of the shipping cost. I never received a response. I found ActiveForever after a family incident. I was in a panic and not in a great mood, when I called ActiveForever. I needed some things for my Father after he took a fall. I found products on other sites (like one named after a giant river in South America :)) -- but have you tried calling one of those sites to ask for advise -- not going to happen...The staff at ActiveForever was really knowledgable and helped me get some things that helped my Dad get out of bed (by himself), get to the bathroom and take care of business. I don't what I'd do without those things. I'm glad they helped me pick out the correct things as I found out that most toilet and bed products are not returnable. I certainly can understand that! (YECK!). They also have some other really unique products. I ordered a few things as Christmas gifts -- thinga I didn't even know existed until I surfed around the site a bit. People invent the darndest things. The only complaint I have is that some items don't have free shipping -- however, when I compared the price with shipping to other sites with free shipping it was still cheaper at ActiveForever. I visited their store in the west valley. I was blown away by the integrity of the crew. I found a fellow customer yelling at the crew for not accepting the return of a hygiene item They stood firm. Yes I am talking to you commode lady! I love buying their compression socks. I love the fact they will not take them back. They have bright stickers that say Hygiene Items are NON-returnable. I am a Penny Pincher to the bone, but if you don't your homework, measure ASK, verify and confirm, understand that a rehab and/hygiene product is not returnable. If I could leave zero stars I would. I'll keep this as brief as possible even though it's not been brief at all. 1. They shipped me the wrong item. 2. When I contacted them on a thursday they said they would send the right item. I asked if it would arrive by Xmas (it was a present) and they said they would check and call me back. They never called. 3. I emailed the following Monday- no response. 4. Called late Tuesday. Was told by a manager he couldn't access my record and the person who didn't call NE back Thursday would call me back. She actually did this time. 5. They hadn't sent the right item the prior week so I was told it would go out the next day (Wednesday- I had to have it by Thursday). I told them to forget it and cancel the order. They insisted that they still send me a return label so that I didn't have to pay for the return of the wrong item. 6. Two days later no label. I called again and asked to speak to a manager. I was sent to the voicemail of the person who has been delinquent. Called back and got a manager who said I should receive the label later that afternoon. 7. It's now six days after the call where they said they would send the label and guess what?! NO LABEL! I cannot conceive how at every single step in this process they have managed to perform poorly. Now I have the added aggravation of seeing their web ads every time I'm on the Internet. Because I purchased something there I guess their advertising is following me. This would be a good strategy if it didn't constantly remind me of the terrible service I received which led me to post this review. read more
