This review is long overdue. SSS, screened two properties for me, one, in 2024 and the second, in…read more2025. The first property happened without a hitch but the second screening happened with a few snags. There was a snag in a back porch screen which was taken care of immediately. However, a week after the driveway overhead & side screens were put in, I noticed a stretched out mark on the side screen that was about 2 feet long on a diagonal which I only noticed it when I was outside of my driveway. I first contacted SSS at the end of September and they responded two weeks later to see if the issue had been solved. That would have been great, but four months later, Bear showed up and assessed the issue as well as an issue that occurred since that visit in September. Bear told me everything would be taken care of and extended the warranty on that stretched mark. One month later, all repairs were corrected and I'm very satisfied. I would definitely recommend Specialty Sewing Senter because not only do they sell a quality product, they back it!

I was stranded in Yuma on the way home to San Diego after picking up my daughter from college. He even waited after hours on a SATURDAY for us to be picked up by family from San Diego until we finally told him he needed to go home and we'd figure it out. My overall impression is that they are clowns…read more I went in to see about having some air bags installed on my truck along with some overload springs. They said they couldn't get me the springs but that if i bought them they would install them. They gave me a print out of which springs to buy and where to buy them etc. When I spoke to the manager mike he quoted me about $1600 for the air bags over the phone. I asked him if he would install the springs and oem shocks as part of that price and he said yes. So i went and bought the springs and shocks. We set an apt for weeks out. I dropped my truck off and about an hour or two later i get a call from mike explaining he had guys go home sick and that they could install the air bags but not the rest of the suspension. I said i wanted to get it all done at once so i picked up my truck. At this point it felt like they didn't want to install the suspension and that they were jerking me around, but i decided to move forward as though that wasn't the case. A couple weeks go by and i called them because i was going out of town and thought i could leave the truck with them for a week which would give them ample time to do the work. The guy i was working with was nice and seemed to care, their hours are wonky so he was trying to help me get the truck in after they had closed. After a bunch of back and forth i gave up and told him i would just give them a call when i got back. I got back and gave them a call. I get Mike on the phone and he says the closest apt would be three weeks out. Then i asked him to confirm the price and now it's almost $1800. He said it was because of the suspension installation, which he previously agreed to do as part of the air bag installation. I called him on it, he denied it. I told him was going to take the truck elsewhere, which i did. I spent 45 days trying to give these guys my business and it was a total mess. I would bot recommend these guys nor would I take a vehicle here. I wasted a bunch of time here.
