I called Best RV Tech on a Fri afternoon for a hot water tank repair, they came out within the hour and Duane had troubleshoot and made the repairs within 30 min. I am very pleased with the timelines of the service call, the quality and knowledge of his workmanship and the professionalism in how he conduct his business. I will definitely call again if needed and would highly recommend to others as a first choice for RV Mobil repair. It also was nice to talk with and to support other veterans Semper Fi. Love these guys! Very responsive to calls, reasonable prices, professional, and on time. We had a full replacement done on our electrical box and everything went well. We were camping at Imperial Dam and had an issue with our leveling jacks on our 2001 GB Suite. Being stuck was obviously somewhat panic inducing and my trouble shooting was leading me to dead ends. Being a Sunday, I knew it was highly unlikely to get someone on the phone. Richard answered and took around an 30 mins of his time and helped me troubleshoot the issue and got me back on the road. He didn't charge me anything and said he enjoys helping people! Richard not only showed his competency as a mechanic but also his character. Thanks again Richard!! read more

Having trouble with heater. Had heater serviced by another RV shop but was still having issues. Called BEST RV TECH and they responded quickly. Came out to my storage and did some testing and ended up replacing the control board. I went back out the next few mornings and I was still having the same problem. Duane came back out, free of charge, put the old control board (which he had saved because they are so expensive and just in case that wasn't the problem) back in. Then he removed the burner, cleaned that and it is working properly. They refunded me the cost of the control board. What a great company Highly recommend . read more

I called Best RV Tech because they were close by -- Oceanside, CA. Richard answered my call quickly.. I explained that the slide out on my motorhome was crooked and would not move. He asked me to take pictures and began to help me over the phone. When I asked him to come to my home to make the repair, he told me he had recently moved his business to Yuma. But that didn't stop him from helping me understand the problem and how best to repair it. He actually called me back several times to give me more information and to ask about my progress. Richard cares. I'll call him again if I have a problem in his neck of the woods. read more

These guys were great! Super responsive! Had electrical issue with RV, and couldn't move it. Called and they got right back to me. Tried to walk me through different potential fixes, over the phone, but that didn't work. They came out right away, and tracked down the issue in an area of our coach that no manual or google search lead me too... bottom line, they were great and had us on the road in 30 minutes. Highly recommended! read more

We searched from Palm Springs to AZ for an RV tech to look at our hot water heater. Richard went out of his way to meet us near the freeway, and had it fixed and us on our way within a half an hour. He's friendly, efficient, and well worth what we paid. I HIGHLY recommend. read more

I was extremely happy with my experience with Best RV. They scheduled a time for an estimate quickly and made the process very easy. Don't waste your time or money go straight to quality RV in El Cajon it's worth the drive. I feel bad that I have to leave this review I don't normally leave bad reviews but this guy! I'm not going to go into all the details it doesn't deserve my time but... After being told that he would bribe me not to leave a bad review I told him he could keep his money. The next day I was told by his referral that he over charged me. When I called back he got very defensive, and claimed that I was holding him ransom. With his daughter the secretary yelling in the back ground I decided to cut my losses and write this review WARNING anyone who can afford what he calls consceirge service, steer clear! read more

I spoke to Richard, who responded immediately. I was unable to get my Dometic RV fridge working, while beach camping (with a full load of food in it, about to begin rotting!) With a small amount of information, he was able to diagnose my issue and provide a solution. He was very clear in his explanation of the situation, and did not treat me like the idiot I am (about RV technical issues!) As a result, I would go out of my way to have my trailer repaired by this company. read more

I was having problems with my 2006 Fleetwood flair RV, Richard was tied up at the moment and could not come to my location, however, Richard stayed on the phone with me for 30+ minutes walking me through troubleshooting procedures in order to diagnose a problem with my RV, After spending much time with me on the phone, I truly appreciate his patience and willingness to help me in a difficult situation. Imagining having a "new to you" truck and "new to you" fifth wheel that won't talk to each other through the 7-pin harness. Both are 7-8 years old. Best RV Tech came out quickly and troubleshot the problem very systematically and efficiently. Now everything is working great! read more

Best RV lived up to their name. I received a quick call back and a suggestion was made for me to check. I did what they suggested and it resolved my problems in our RV. They obviously are set up to give the best service, they did. They stood out among many by far. I live in Oceanside where my RV is stored at an RV place on Oceanside Blvd. I called 4 different advertised Mobile Mechanics within 5 blocks of where the RV is. Got hold of them, but none called back as they said they would. I spoke to many, no one offered any help, let alone a simple thing to check, like Best RV did. No one! Integrity, honesty does exists over just money. Best RV rates would have been reasonable. Located in Bonsal, they travel to where you are, even if its only blocks away, like the four local ones that never called back. I highly recommend them. For their promptness, honesty, thinking of customers first. Best RV Tech-760 224-7747 read more

There is a lot to be said for customer service these days--but I experienced a top notch example of it with Best Rv (Richard)! We were hours away from leaving on a short trip and the RV wouldn't work. Everyone was busy, no one could come out, including Best Rv, but the receptionist offered to have a tech call us back. "Richard" called us and stepped us through his diagnostic routine and we solved the problem. He didn't have to do that. He could have blown us off like the other rv service companies did. But Richard spent time with us and helped us solve the problem. If a company is willing to do this, knowing they won't be charging a service fee, they are 5 stars in our book! Thank you Best Rv and we will most certainly be calling again for actual maintenance and in-person repair. read more

I'm very grateful that Richard took his valuable time to help my husband and me figure out an issue on our first ever trip in our used, but new to us RV. His willingness to educate us helped us get home without a big fuss. After a great three days, on our way out of the campsite our levelers refused to retract. We tried everything, even calling our mechanic brother in law in Utah. After an hour, I found Best RV Tech on Yelp and made the call. Richard spoke with us on the phone and had us text him pictures of our RV so he could teach us where the hydraulics were located. A nice neighbor at our campsite came over to help with tools to test our connections. It took several phone calls and several hours and tools, but eventually we all figured out it was a broken fuse. The great neighbor, Gerry, and my husband found another fuse, attached it and our levelers finally went up! Richard didn't charge us, but I owe him many thanks. Richard is a great RV tech, very knowledgeable, I will always call him for my RV service. He went beyond my repair expectation.

Today was the second time I've used this company and the second time I was very happy. Very fast response and today happened to be same day service. I thought I was going to have to replace my water heater but Technician was honest and found that it wasn't the water heater leaking but something much less expensive to fix. Will call again for sure if I need this service read more

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! We noticed a slide roller on the floor when putting the RV away after our last trip. After some online research, we learned this was indeed NOT good, and not something that could easily be fixed. I called these guys based on their stellar reviews. Duane and Richard arrived exactly on schedule. Duane diagnosed the problem and confirmed that it was indeed not an easy fix due to a very poorly designed access point to the area he needed to reach. He tried a few things, with no luck. I think at that point, most people would have given up and said, "Sorry, we can't help you." Not these guys. I watched as they collaborated on various "outside the box" ideas to get the job done. They were an amazing team, going back and forth, trying many various ways to solve the problem. I was beyond impressed with how committed they were to finding a solution. Sure enough, their ingenuity worked, and they were able to come up with a fix. These are clearly two guys who care about their work. Thank you Best RV Tech! read more

These guys are great. We called; they came and assessed our problem (broken macerator pump, valves, and fittings due to meeting stationary obstacles and poor design by manufacturer). The outlined a re-design that would avoid further damage and gave an estimate. They arrived to do the repairs when they said the would at our RV lot, and cleaned up when they left. Their estimate was optimistic and they spent an additional two hours working on it, but held to their estimate! We have been camping since and the new system for dumping black and gray water tanks works perfectly--better than the original. read more

We had a water leak in the bathroom while on vacation at the beach. When I called they said that they were busy all week, but when I told him what was wrong then he went out of his way to accommodate us. He was here within an hour. He spent almost two hours on this very old motor home. He had to completely remove the toilet, fix the leak, and then replace the toilet. The cost was very reasonable and he was very professional. He even gave us suggestions for drying out the carpet. We were desperate to get it fixed and we were so happy to have found an honest professional. read more

We were staying at San Onofre and had an electrical problem. Called Best RV Tech and reached Dwayne on a Sunday morning. He happened to be in the shop and answered the phone. He said he would not be able to make it out that day, and had a full schedule the rest of the week, but then asked me what my problem was. He asked if I had looked at the circuit breaker/fuse panel. I did, and explained the best I could what it looked like. He asked me to send him a picture (thank goodness for technology/cell phones). Called him back and he said it appeared that it was missing two 40 amp fuses. (Don't ask how that happened) But, based on the picture bought some 40 amp fuses, put them in....and wala....problem fixed. Thanks Dwayne, you could have just as easily said sorry, can't make it, and hung up. You didn't, and I thank you. read more

Called Best RV Tech to schedule an appointment have our new-to-us RV inspected and evaluated for problems. Duane showed up on time with a smile on his face. He inspected the entire RV for water leaks, electrical problems, water damage, etc. He noticed that the seal on the toilet was missing, so he repaired that right on the spot.
