When a customer brings in a vehicle to set up for towing and YOU ARE NOT familiar with the break buddy system to be installed, then you should not do the work! They left us high and dry with a fully packed Motorhome heading out off town and a tow system that was incomplete. A safety issue and required part - the break away cord, was not installed. We had to drive like that to get to a town where we could get it taken care of. We are now delayed 4 days to wait to get in to another facility to get it completed, which is costing us additional time and money for lodging. They sure were happy to take our money but not completing the job. Would NEVER recommend this place. read more

We were looking for a place to get a baseplate installed on our truck so we can pull it behind an RV. We called a couple places in town and they had no idea. We called a place we used to go but they don't do it anymore. Darn So we expanded our search to Yuma, Arizona which is little closer to us than San Diego. We found a place called Just for Towing-and the name is right, they do everything related to Towing. They have been in business a long time which is a good sign but with no Yelp reviews, it's always a gamble. We spoke to Melinda to order the parts and set up the installation. She knew exactly what we needed and we set an appointment. The parts were ready when we got there. The installation was at their new location (Umphress Truck and Trailer Repair) on Shortway Place. A quick drive and we arrived. Emilio was super nice and so professional. They had a few questions but got our paperwork worked out with Just for Towing. We worked out where the connections would go with Tyson, who did the installation. We planned on about 4 or more hours for installation-depending on any complications so we took off to explore Yuma. We called after around 2 1/2 hours just to see how things were going and plan where we would go next depending on time. Emilio checked with Tyson and he would be finished in about a half hour. That was fast. Blue Ox, who makes the baseplate, says it should take about 3 hours but life rarely is as perfect as the instructions say. We headed back to the shop and they were done when we got there. The installation was beautiful. It was put in expertly and you could hardly see where the tow bar connects. My husband painted it black to match the bumper and now you really can't see it. We definitely recommend Just for Towing and their company that does the installation, Umphress Truck and Trailer Repair. They are real professionals that will do a great job! read more

I have to agree with others, excellent customer service. We had the Blue Ox flat tow system added to our vehicle in March 2023. After months of use, it wouldn't retract. A call to Just for Towing and we were told well just bring it in and we will replace it. No questions, no issues, no hesitation from them!! It was waiting for us when we got there. Just For Towing just setup our new Jeep Grand Cherokee for towing and did a great job. After a quick conversation with them and based on my previous experience, I decided I wanted a Blue Ox baseplate and tow bars, and an MSI Stay-in-Play Duo brake controller. They had everything in stock! They did the install the next day, in and out with no muss or fuss. Their parts prices were cheaper than etrailer.com and the labor costs were reasonable. You have to love that all they do is set up tow systems. The people who are going to get it right are the ones who does it all day every day (for 34 years!). Took our Nissan Titan in for a total towing package. This included a driveline disconnect, wiring, base plate, tow bar,auxilliary brake system and all accessiories. They did an awesome job. We wanted to tow our 2017 Nissan Titan behind our class A motorhome and now we can. They custom made most of the components to be able to accomplish this.
