My overall impression is that they are clowns…read more I went in to see about having some air bags installed on my truck along with some overload springs. They said they couldn't get me the springs but that if i bought them they would install them. They gave me a print out of which springs to buy and where to buy them etc. When I spoke to the manager mike he quoted me about $1600 for the air bags over the phone. I asked him if he would install the springs and oem shocks as part of that price and he said yes. So i went and bought the springs and shocks. We set an apt for weeks out. I dropped my truck off and about an hour or two later i get a call from mike explaining he had guys go home sick and that they could install the air bags but not the rest of the suspension. I said i wanted to get it all done at once so i picked up my truck. At this point it felt like they didn't want to install the suspension and that they were jerking me around, but i decided to move forward as though that wasn't the case. A couple weeks go by and i called them because i was going out of town and thought i could leave the truck with them for a week which would give them ample time to do the work. The guy i was working with was nice and seemed to care, their hours are wonky so he was trying to help me get the truck in after they had closed. After a bunch of back and forth i gave up and told him i would just give them a call when i got back. I got back and gave them a call. I get Mike on the phone and he says the closest apt would be three weeks out. Then i asked him to confirm the price and now it's almost $1800. He said it was because of the suspension installation, which he previously agreed to do as part of the air bag installation. I called him on it, he denied it. I told him was going to take the truck elsewhere, which i did. I spent 45 days trying to give these guys my business and it was a total mess. I would bot recommend these guys nor would I take a vehicle here. I wasted a bunch of time here.

That being said, I am beyond leery of everything to do with Chapman due to the experiences I have had with Chapman Chevrolet. They sold me a known lemon and then flat refused to give me my money back after the truck left me stranded. The manager of the store and sales manager both told me that I should return the truck so they can resell it. Horrible.

I…read morewas pulling a newly purchased used enclosed trailer from Tucson to San Diego, at about Casa Grande to buy fuel I did a walk around and noticed grease all over the rim, placing my hand near the hub it was super hot. I had a burnt wheel bearing. I figured I could make it to Yuma which I did. Of course it was 1:30am and everything was closed I slept in the wallmart parking lot. I was up by 5:00am and I googled trailer repair and found JRs mobile , he had an on call number so I dialed and he picked up. I brought my trailer over at 8:00, they unhooked me and they told me they'd take a look and recommended I go find a restaurant. They text me an hour later , I arrived and they informed me I had caused irreparable damage to the spindle and cracked the hub. I left the trailer there while JRs located the axle, it was located in Riverside so the end of the week I picked it up, the following week I delivered the axle , they had removed the damaged axle so after I arrived they installed the axle and tires back on while I waited. Not only was it a relief to find an honest repair shop but the Owner Rene was an expert mechanic, he has a very well equipped shop that is a statement to his professionalism. Rene is a master diesel mechanic but also services trucks,,autos , semi trailers , basically if it has a motor he's your guy. If you a local JRs is probably well known, if your a late night traveler like me it's a huge relief to find JRs. I highly recommend Rene and his JRS mobile mechanic team big or small jobs !!!

We arrived late but a very kind young man came out to answer our questions without making us feel rushed because they were getting ready to close. This salespersons name is Juan Diosdado. He 100% understood what I was looking for in regards to a vehicle for my elderly parents. He right away calmed my fears and showed me what might be the best fit for everything they were requesting. During that visit, a new warning appeared immediately after the recall work was completed. The truck had no prior engine warnings during my four years of ownership. The diagnostic code that surfaced was P008B-00 (Low Pressure Fuel System Pressure Too High), which appeared only after the recall service and left me without my daily driver for several days. I initially worked with a service advisor, and while the situation was frustrating at the time, the turning point came when I spoke directly with Lisa, the Service Director, on the morning of 12/12/25 when I picked up my truck. Lisa went above and beyond to ensure she exceeded my expectations. She listened carefully, understood my perspective, and treated the issue with professionalism, urgency, and genuine care. Most importantly, she owned the experience from the customer's point of view, made things more than right, and ensured my truck was fully resolved and running perfectly. Leaders like Lisa are hard to find in the automotive service industry. She set the standard for what authentic customer service and accountability should look like. My serpentine belt had been making a slightly annoying chirping sound after starting up for a…read morecouple of weeks. I decided to take it to Accurate Automotive to replace. They charged me $400 dollars to replace the belt and pulley. The next day, my A/C completely stopped blowing cold air, and there were rubber shavings all around the pulley and belt. I explained this to the shop, and brought it in for them to look at. A couple hours later they texted me with a quote for $1200 dollars to replace the thermostat housing unit with $800 in labor alone. When I asked about the belt, and how that could have affected the A/C, they denied ever seeing the shavings and that they must have been from the last belt. Could just be terrible luck on my part, but it certainly didn't sit well with me. Would not recommend to anyone. I saw the shavings with my own two eyes ONLY after they replaced the belt. Shady business.

We visited the Service Department and got scheduled for on- site service where we were staying in Yuma the next day! Great, thorough service and at very good price to boot. Courteous service advisors at the dealership and mechanics at site of service. Since we visit Yuma and AZ a lot, Alexander Ford will be our service department as long as we have our class B RV (van), which is exactly the same as any other high-end Ford Transit chasiss.
