This is a terrible company. Aside from the fact that the last time they came out they left my back gate open and had I not found this error before I let my dog out she would have run away.....their billing department is terrible. I have received FOUR bills for my Termite Contract. I paid this bill on December 19, 2022 and yet I am still receiving bill asking for payment. I have checked my accounts and the payment was successfully made. When I tried to call them I was directed to the accounts department to speak with someone.......no one picked up....but then I was directed to a survey asking me how my experience was with the billing department. This company is now owned by a very large European conglomerate.......do not do business with them read more

After three missed appointments and not a single call from Active/Rentokill, I'm canceling our account. I've been a customer for 15 years with Allgood, and when it was acquired by the big national firm, the services went from excellent to terrible. One star rating is being charitable. read more

This was acquired by all good . I have called 6 times in the last month in order to get someone to come out and I have had no lunch. I've called and scheduled multiple appointments and no one ever shows or calls. I never had any issues with Allgood. read more

This company bought algood ( and Erlich and others ) . I canceled because of terrible service in April. They agreed to send a refund. Ever since then they continue to demonstrate incompetence and diversion and deceit . I have called them about six times : in the last call they refused to give me the corporate address to which to send a letter of demand, the name of the person I was speaking to, the branch she was working at, the name of her supervisor, and they keep telling me I'll have to wait 45 weeks for my refund check to arrive. They " cannot get on the line the escalation supervisor" too busy" ( which in itself tells you something ): I canceled in April and they do recognize that I have called multiple times but cannot seem to put me through to someone to escalate. This means if you go with this company and I'm not meaning to disparage this particular branch, you are in for a difficult time. I have not been happy with active and would avoid them and have at all cost. Arrow ( local owned company) have been the absolute opposite. Go with them !! read more

The sales rep told me that there was mice droppings and bat droppings in the attic. I explained I had another company enclosed the home in 2007, but I did have a new roof in 2011. He stated that the roofers had removed a good bit of the hardware and that was how the wildlife had entered. The sales rep stated that was fairly common. So, I signed the agreement to have the home enclosed from wildlife. The gentleman that came out to enclose the home stated there was a good bit of covering that was still in place. I mentioned it was done in 2007. He replied that he did have to sure up some spots and cover a few others that were open. His report stated no evidence of activity. He placed traps and left. The next rep came out to inspect the attic and the traps. He stated in his report there was no evidence of activity. I asked him if he had seen any mice droppings. The reply was no. The third rep that came out to do the inspection again reported no evidence of activity. I asked him if he saw any evidence of any old droppings and he said no. I asked if it was normal to have a sales rep report findings of bat and mice droppings but 3 separate reps that came out after on follow up visits report no evidence of any activity at all. He said that was not normal. I contacted the office on 4/22 to report this issue. The woman I spoke with stated that was odd and that she would contact both the Branch manager and the wildlife manager and have one of them call me. She did state it would take a couple of days for them to reach back out. It is now 05/03 and no contact. Moral of the story, make sure you see what the salesman sees before you sign an agreement for this service!!!!! read more

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT hire this company for pest control. From start to abrupt end, this company was nothing but trouble to deal with. The sales person was nice enough and promised great deal, but after the deal was signed, getting ahold of anyone was a nightmare. Missed appointments, vague excuses, and a general unwillingness to do anything above and beyond the bare minimum, even though they promise to come back "up to 15 times additionally (above and beyond your normal services) per year to handle pest issues." It's a crock. The divisional ops manager is rude and unresponsive and the techs seem to know little to nothing about pests. BEWARE. read more

After my recent semi annual inspection I noticed the Centricon stations in my yard were still covered with mulch/leaves/gravel/hose/etc and had not been touched. The manager, Jason Smith, apologized and sent Grumpy Gary the technician out again and Grumpy Gary said that he "intentionally" recovered the stations with mulch/leaves/pine straw/gravel/hose/etc so they look undisturbed. Maybe some people would fall for that excuse, but I have a dozen pictures that tell a very different story. Unfortunately Jason does not understand the value of being customer centric. If you use Skyline, make sure you walk around the house with them and verify the work is being done. read more

I am very disappointed with BugOut Service. They (as well as RIA Solution, Skyline, any other names they tried) are a terrible company. Please run and take your business elsewhere. I've been with them for almost 10 years and constantly have problems. Each time I'm suckered back in because they have nice workers. I can't keep doing this. My latest and months of ongoing issue is with the Wildlife Department. I unfortunately had signs of rats in and around my home. I contacted BugOut Service and paid them over $1200 to fix the issue. Many months later they have never caught anything. I have to beg and send multiple calls, emails, portal messages to get an appointment for someone to come out. A person will come, say they've caught nothing and that they will come out again. And no follow up occurs. This last time I had them come out and the gentleman said he would order a bag of concrete and come back. Nothing. My quarterly pest happened and they sent a survey. I said I wouldn't recommend them and I got a call berating me for saying this and that they would never pour concrete. Said Wild Life would call me. Of course, nothing. No one has reached out. Today I had issues with my A/C unit and had a tech come to service. He informed me I have a live infestation in the crawl space. When I told him I had hired a company to fix the issue he looked appalled. He told me they've damaged tons of my encapsulation. He asked how they expected to catch anything as the traps are all molded. No one rat would touch that. He said they may have now damaged my furnace. This was humiliating. I've paid tons of money to have another company tell me I have rats. So embarrassing. My brother came out and was able to trap two (so unsure why professionals can't). At this point I've paid $1200+ for some metal wire, traps, and extensive damage that wouldn't have happened if I'd hired actual professionals. At this point I'd like my money refunded (deduct money for wire and traps) so I can hire someone who will actually take care of the issue. Or maybe it is better to lodge a complaint with Better Business. read more
