I started coming here around May of 2026 and made a point to get services from most of the practitioners. Every one of the practitioners is professional, well-trained, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about your healing. My favorite provider is Melissa as she is also chicken soup for my soul. When coming here, you get more than just a service for your body, you get caring professionals who want to see you all the way through your healing goals and journey. These folks are your biggest advocate and amazing healer. Nothing magical about it (but it seems this way when your years of pain dissolve after one session). When I first came to her, I was dealing with constant neck and left shoulder pain, sciatica that would flare unpredictably, and lingering back pain that made long days of studying and working really difficult. Over time, her treatments have helped ease that tension in ways I didn't think were possible. After each session, I feel lighter--like my body can finally exhale. What I appreciate most about her is how deeply she listens. She doesn't just ask where it hurts and move on. She takes the time to understand what I'm feeling, how long it's been happening, and what might be contributing to it. There's something incredibly grounding about being heard that way. I never feel rushed, and I never feel dismissed. She creates a space that feels safe and calm, which already starts the healing process before the treatment even begins because my pain is validated and she listens intently. She takes time in understanding the cause and effects of the pain I suffer. She also explains everything. She'll tell me which auricular points she's working on, how they connect to my neck, shoulder, sciatic nerve, or lower back, and what I might expect to feel. That transparency makes such a difference. It helps me feel involved in my own healing and puts me completely at ease. Even when I'm anxious or in a lot of pain, her gentle presence and clear explanations make me feel supported. If you're dealing with chronic pain, stress, or nerve-related discomfort, I truly recommend seeing Doc. She is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her clients' well-being. I've trusted her with my care since 2023 and I get treated by her almost every week, and I'm so thankful for the relief and comfort she's helped bring into my life. The least pain and most effective of all treatments. I've had chiropractic care and shiatsu from high school to adulthood, physical therapy, lomi lomi, Western and Nordic massage therapy during adulthood, which in my experience, offered maximum temporary relief up to one month. Massager at home only provides temporary daily relief. I've already noticed a huge difference in my results. By far the most I've pooped on the toilet in a given day. Be honest and transparent with Dr. Yang if a health concern is not listed on intake form. I wrote down all my current medications on one page, my allergies and medical conditions on a second page in advance. She read everything during initial consultation, inquired where I'm experiencing the most pain, pain level, stress level, how's my sleeping, and more. She highly recommends twice a week treatment in acupuncture, gua sha and cupping, to relieve pain in cervical, mid and lower spine for now, then eventually taper off to less frequency, drink lots of water, and sleep with a lower neck pillow. I love how Dr. Yang addresses the root of concerns and issues with professional bedside manners plus warnings. Another staff, a guy also helps her with cupping. She also placed a yellow bell in my left hand and informed me to ring the bell if I'm feeling pain at anytime. I've seen younger people to elderly entering and exiting for acupuncture and cupping. Complimentary water station and restroom for clientele. Dietary and herbal supplements are available for purchase. Free parking in Pearl Kai Shopping Center. A few hours later, my Hawaiian, Chinese mom commented in person, "Wow! Look sore." I said, "Not sore." She asked to describe the feeling. Tiny sterile small needles inserted on the surface of the skin, stays in for a while, calming, relaxing. I fell asleep. Needles are removed. Clean the skin. Prepare one cup at a time with heat. Initial one to two minutes feels tighter. Feeling of cupping reminds me of a warm, moist towel over the upper back. Relaxed my body and fell asleep. Infinite thank you to Dr. Yang and the entire staff for phenomenal service. Looking forward to more traditional Chinese medicine and restorative self-care. Highly recommend.
