I have been suffering with Calcific Tendinitis since May, and Dr. Berry has provided me with the very first relief that I have had since then. I developed frozen shoulder as a result of the tendinitis, and decided to seek out alternative therapies because I knew SOMETHING had to be out there that could help me. I found a few studies on how shockwave therapy can help with pain and ROM and decided to find a doctor in my area. I came to Dr Berry after 2 1/2 years of frozen shoulder, I couldn't barely lift my arm. I had tried everything - PRP, year+ of Physical Therapy, manual therapy, Light therapy -- each gave a small amount of help. Orthopedic Docs told me my only option was to replace the shoulder...but not really speaking of fixing my motion. I read about shockwave therapy and it's capabilities to help. Dr. Berry's laser treatments helped me to be able to walk without a walker. I had a torn meniscus, a torn mcl and nerve damage. A sports orthopedic surgeon suggested a knee replacement along with having therapy, cortisone shots and pills. Nothing was helping and was in excruciating pain. Before my injury I had planned a trip to Europe but was going to be unable to go. That's when I found Dr. Berry! He started laser treatments and after the third treatment, I no longer needed the walker. I could not believe it! Prior to visiting Dr. Berry, I had been experiencing extreme pain in my left leg and lower back. The spasms in my leg were so severe, I could only walk with a cane. I could not sleep due to the pain. My nights were spent pacing around the house. When I finally would get an hour or two of sleep it would start all over. On average it took me 20 to 30 minutes to get out of bed. I would have to lean on the bed, only putting weight on my right leg, while my left would spasm. This condition went on for over two months. An MRI revealed some damage to my back, but nothing that required surgery. This was frustrating. No one had an answer. I've been a patient for only a couple of months now but from the first day of treatment, I've improved tremendously. From the minute you enter the office, you know this place is different. I have been to many Drs. over the last several years for my Achilles tendon. I was told by two foot Drs. and a surgeon that I needed surgery to clean out all the scar tissue. My Achilles was very swollen and I had to wear a boot for 4 weeks. I was then told to get another boot and wear it for 6 weeks. All this put me on disability. Since the boot, I can walk better but the pain started coming back with in a year. I am a PE teacher and it is really hard to stay off your feet. I started researching Achilles tendon Drs. and I kept pulling up Dr Berry. I did nothing for awhile other than a few phone calls to other Drs. I finally was hurting pretty bad and made the apt with Dr. Berry. It was a life changing experience. On the first visit he asked if I was taking any meds and I said no just headache pills because I have headaches daily. Well in a few short minutes he told me I had TM J. By the third visit I had seen a Dentist and a root canal specialist who took three d pictures of my mouth. I was told I had a sinus problem that was pushing on the nerves in my mouth. I was unfortunately affected by a nail fungus on my ring finger, that was not serious but was cosmetically not pleasant. I was treated at the center, and I can happily say that the fungus is now gone after 3 treatments. Recovering from a serious accident where I broke both of my ankles in October of 2015...the result was living with a high level of pain and little range of motion to even stand and walk. I went to see Dr. Berry for a mild sore back. He adjusted me so forcefully that it caused me excrutiating pain for the next month, and after a total of six visits I abandoned trying to get relief from him. He never once called to see how I was doing, and in the office he suggested I get an MRI. I did not sleep for more than two hours a night, and had ice packs on my back every twenty minutes on and off for a month. I am still recuperating from the visits. To get "whole" again, I went to Ando Aston Physical Therapy in Anaheim Hills. There Dr. James Sposa worked my sacroiliac back into place in one visit, and the healing began. I am still suffering from pain and cramps in my legs, and various related ailments caused by the injury, but am slowly getting better. I cannot recommend this chiropractor, as I have visited the doctors at Tustin Chiropractic probably a hundred of times over fifteen years without incident. Dr Berry is the bomb!! After seeing a Podiatrist for left foot pain who did X-rays, found heal spurs, gave me way to many cortisone injections and physical therapy which included tens treatments (not sure of correct spelling on that) with no results, I was referred to an equally amazing foot surgeon (DR Pantazopolous) she did MRI and found many other issues with my left foot. Bruised heal bone, bone spurs, ruptured tendons from to many cortisone injections, plantar fascia and Achilles problems to name a few. She said she could do surgery to fix everything or she could refer me to try Shock Wave Therapy and Laser treatments. She said it's fairly new and she'd been doing lots research on it and really believed it could help. Being a Huge skeptic but a bigger chicken with surgery I opted to try It. I had the best experience at Active Chiropractic and Laser Center! Dr. Berry has managed to cure nail fungus (Onychomycosis) on two of my toenails - that were entirely infected and an adjacent toenail by using the laser. I have used the laser treatment provided by Dr. Berry (on all of my toenails) in combination with Jublia medication. I have noticed significant clearing of the toenails and growth of new healthy nails after the first treatment. Dr. Berry is knowledgeable in using the laser at toenail fungus settings and I did not feel any pain or discomfort during the laser procedure. I have also received two follow-up laser treatments, at three months and six months to make sure that there is no recurrence of the fungus. My toenails are now fungus free! My podiatrist has just sent samples from all infected nails to the lab, and they came back with the result of no fungus! My toenails grow and look healthy.
