Booking the party was a breeze. Packages to pick from and dates and times that were available. They even called 2 days before the event to confirm times, amount of kids and all the food we ordered. Which was great. We chose a Saturday afternoon and this place was very busy. The great thing about this place is you can fill out the waiver and set-up an account online before arriving. So you're not standing in line trying to do this. A real breeze and time saver. You can also do this if you're just going in, not just for a birthday party. The kids had a blast. They had an hour to go ahead and jump around, 30 minutes to come back to our table and have food and cake, than another hour to jump and play. A party is 2.5 hours and that was more than plenty. The kids were pooped, sweaty and had so much fun. The great thing is, we also had a host who took care of everything (timing things, when the food was ready, keeping the kids on track, decorations, plates etc). The only thing we needed to take care of was bringing a birthday cake and goodie bags for the kids. They took care of everything else and was a stress-free birthday party. Which doesn't happen too often. I think all parents should take their kids here at least once. Plenty to do for all ages and what's not to love about a trampoline park? Highly recommended.

And when it was brought to the attention they just shrugged and walked away. Then going through the obstacle course another bigger kid barrled over her without a second though. Running full tilt... I under accidents happen in a busy area but if there is bullying and kids being mean they should be held accountable. I'm very very disappointed

Cobbs Adventure Park in Calgary AB was definitely a great and fun place to visit !!!…read moreIt is a mix of zoo, activities, games and rides for the kids and family, a little restaurant and sweets stand :) The zoo is a bit of an animal farm with two capybaras, kangaroos and wallabies, sheep, goats, pigs, porcupines, emus, chickens / roosters and a turkey, and a sloth. Part of the experience is that, with the purchase of tickets, you can go into the capybara enclosure and meet the capys, feed and pet them. We are big fans of capybaras, we saw them in person at the Edmonton zoo, and follow many accounts on Instagram, but this was our first time meeting and petting them. They are super relaxed and super friendly. We had the opportunity to feed them fruits and greens, which was so funny!! We then visited the kangaroos and wallabies. Both were friendly, soft and used to humans. We visited with them, and fed them foods. We visited and interacted with the sheep and alpacas, which were also nice to see and pet. The staff of the park were very friendly and professional, and answered any questions visitors would have about animals. The ambiance was very nice - visiting with the animals, having a snack or busy with the games, it was a great day to enjoy the outdoors and animals!!

Back in the spring I did a painting class here where they gave us a piece of plywood board and a stencil that said spring has sprung and we got to paint it and decorate it with anything- it was great! Then just recently Pinnovate celebrated their first birthday party. At their birthday their was complimentary goodies from cobs bakery, complimentary ice cream or gelato from Fiasco gelato, pizza from coco brooks and coffee from rosso coffee roasters. They also were making balloon animals. We could visit and tour the store and paint complimentary cards with water colors. It was great!

This year, was our last year as a family to celebrate Mother's Day, and we chose the Carriage House. The decor in the grand ballroom was beautiful the fact they split the two venues to add more availability was good, too. The service for plate takeaway was excellent. However, the food was not. The smoked salmon was very fishy, a little off. The potatoes dry, waffle so hard it darted off my place and the Bennies had a rock hard bottom in two cases. This was despite the fact everything was replenished frequently. The eggs. I've never seen a block of scrambled eggs before, but there it was! And it was as tasteless as it appeared. The two saviours were the lovely orange smoked ham and the crab legs. Dessert would have saved the meal if it tasted as good as it looked. The B52 cheesecakes was sour, the stuffed cream puff dry and tasteless, only the orange pudding saved the dessert. But be prepared, folks, the Carriage House now has security against Dine and Dashers, ominous well dressed young men who look a bit formal, AND an 18% Gratuity on top of the $65.00 per person with no seniors discount. It is just off of MacLeod Trail and a short walk from the Heritage C-Train station. The rooms aren't particularly fancy but they're clean and do the job. The only issue we encountered on our last visit was an extremely loud group on our floor. However, after we called the front desk at 3am, they quickly quieted down. A buffet breakfast is included with your stay and was always a nice way to start the day. There was decent variety and it wasn't exactly the same for the 3 days we had it. The hotel is also pet-friendly which is great if you don't want to leave your dog with a sitter.
