She said I needed to arrive 15 mins before because I needed to create my profile and would go through some orientation. When I arrived there she asked why I was wearing jeans... like what? what's wrong with wearing jeans? and then I saw she was dressed like if she was going to the gym... she told me it was going to be a good workout session and she didn't lie about that... The orientation included how to use the gun and its different settings, then how to wear the headband and the vest. We were randomly split into two teams and there was one person on each team explaining us each of the missions and goals. It was intense!! We were running, ducking, hiding, shooting all the time. There was no time to rest! At the end of each mission we would see the leaderboard and see how we were doing within our team and against the other team. After the session was over, I got an email with my session summary including accuracy, number of deaths, and session rank. The layout is pretty good, plenty of space to run around and some spots where you can hide. In general it was a very fun but also challenging experience.

My group and I used to be regular customers who come twice a week in large groups of 10+ people. We drive 30 minutes to get here and provide a good level of business to this start-up. The last time we showed up, the 8pm session that we had booked was started early without our large group to accommodate 4 players who apparently were there really early. This came at a shock to us as they assumed that we would be ok with having them bump our session to 9:30pm, took our business for granted and offered no apology. It was no big deal to them. Typically we would have just left given how we were treated, but since we were already there, we decided to give them a chance and asked to join mid-session and even waited 45 minutes to do so. This was on Sunday night and we all had work early the next morning. Right as we entered the room to gear up, a staff member stormed out of another room and began screaming at us to gear up if we want to play, as if it's all our fault and that they are doing us a favour by allowing us to join mid-session. They forgot that we are paying customers and didn't seem to care that they were the ones who screwed us over by having the session start before 8pm. This was when the tipping point for us was reached and we walked out and asked for a refund. We came here to have a good time. Not to get screwed over, wait around and waste our time, and then get yelled at by a staff member. And worst of all, they didn't seem to care...so we won't be going back!

We came here for an Elvis themed show. When I read about this place online it was described as an…read moreinteractive experience where the actors would talk with the audience. That is true. There was an actor who played both a mayor and Elvis himself, and this actor came along and spoke with our table. He handed my daughter a piece of paper and asked her to do up a poster promoting his good qualities and essentially helping him to get elected as mayor. My daughter being a very artistic person was happy to comply. We thought he might actually come back for the poster and use it somewhere during the performance but he never did follow up on this. Seems like he did it just for a fun, interactive element but I think it would have been good if he'd actually followed up on it. It kind of left us hanging all evening, wondering if he'd come back for the poster. Aside from him, there was mainly one other server/actor who was attending to us throughout the evening. He was in costume and played along by putting on a voice fitting to the time and place that the story was set in, but he didn't seem to be an actual character in the play. Just a side actor meant to fulfill the so called interactive element. Food was decent but not stellar. It was a 3 course meal. We were fortunate enough to have gotten a bday discount on our tickets as well as being able to have our two daughters order from the kids menu even though they were both technically over the kids age limit. So...5 stars for the customer service that we received, even before attending this performance. A basket of bread and butter was placed on the table and we all got salad as our first course. My daughter ordered Mac n Cheese with some tater tots on the side for her main entree. It looked super filling but also very tempting. I sort of wished I could order some tater tots for myself! I ordered a Vegan Spinach Tofu lasagna for my own main entree. It wasn't bad but I think a slightly larger serving would have been preferred. I was eye my daughter's tater tots and Mac n Cheese both because they looked tasty and because I was slightly on the hungrier side with my lasagna not being nearly as hearty a serving as my daughter's kids meal! We all ordered chocolate cake for our dessert with mine being a Vegan chocolate cake. Oh, and for our drinks we ordered a jug of Shirley Temple. If everyone at your table is agreeable to Shirley Temple then I'd highly recommend getting a jug of it for the table instead of everyone ordering individual cups. Aside from the fact that I think the performers could have interacted with us more, this was still a super fun evening. The music, dancing and drama were all very enjoyable. They also asked audience members who were celebrating birthdays to come up on stage (that included moi), and people celebrating anniversaries got to go up on stage as well. So...there was that for an interactive element. I got to go up and do a dance on stage. Basically, all us birthday people were imitating the dance steps of the actors in front of us. This was fun. Just that when I had read online about this being an interactive experience I had kind of envisioned the actors coming up to our dinner tables and having conversations with us. Coming up on stage to do a birthday dance though was quite a thrill, as was hearing the entire room gasp when I got asked my age and people were all shocked because it seemed everyone in the room thought I looked way younger than I really am!
