I do not recommend this company, I was very disappointed. After coming out and giving me a quote on a repair, signing the contract, giving 50% deposit and getting the repair scheduled - the manager called me to say the estimate on the repair was wrong and the actual amount was 78% greater! They would not honor their contract even though they had enough profit in the original estimate to make up for their mistake. I got another licensed and insured company to do the repair for 25% of what they were trying to charge me. Terrible! read more

I contracted them three months ago for a new roof. In all that time they never once initiated a single call to update me on the permitting status or anything else for that matter. I probably called and emailed them dozens and dozens of times. They reassured me that everything was OK. Everything was still being processed by the city. I just learned today that they never submitted anything and so I have wasted three entire months with these folks, listening to nothing but misinformation from them. The roof replacement process with Action Roofing has been a total nightmare from the beginning. The company first sent me an application from the wrong municipality to sign. Action Roofing had to have hired the most incompetent permit expediters. In addition to that, I was lied to about the permit submittal repeatedly by a woman named Joy White, to the point that I ended up submitting the permit application and overseeing the permit process myself as well as scheduling inspections. To which point I never received a price discount or reimbursement for my time having to take on this work that Action Roofing is responsible for and was part of their contract as I understood before I signed. I received lie after lie from Joy White, which I later found out was fired and was advised the company was delinquent on 17 other projects due to mismanagement. A friend of mine which referred me to the company was going through the same exact issues I was going through and began the process months before I did and my project was actually completed a month plus before his. It appears this level of incompetence is standard business practice for them. I was also advised the soffit would have to be replaced. An Action Roofing employee came to take measurements of the soffit to be replaced to then be told a week later, basically at the very end of the actual roof replacement that the soffit will not be replaced, that I would have to hire someone else myself. The reason I was told was Action Roofing does not have employees with that skillset. Why then take the measurements? Additionally, the metal roof was also installed on a rainy day and I'm concerned about the long term effects of trapping moisture under the panels. The project manager at Action Roofing assured me this would not be an issue, however by this point the company has lost all credibility with me and also lost all confidence in the company. I began the process with Action Roofing on September of 2025 and they didn't apply for my permit until December 16, 2025 and their permit expeditor, Miranda Terrell did nothing with my application from December 16, 2025 through February 2, 2026. After requesting all the permitting documents from Action Roofing, I took over the permitting process on February 16, 2026 and the permit was approved and issued 5 days later on February 20,2026. There was no reason to lose 2 months time in the permit process when I was able to have the permit issued in 5 days. The polyglass was installed on January 28, 2026 and they didn't begin the metal installation until April 6, 2026 and finished installation on April 8, 2026. 8 months for a roof replacement is unreasonable, especially when Action Roofing was stagnant with the permitting process for 2 months and I was able to pull the permit in 5 days when I took over that process. I hope they did an impeccable job, because I never want to have to call Action Roofing again for anything. Between the lies and delays, I would not recommend this company at all. read more

Requested no cost estimate on 072925 for the roof. Scheduled for 073025 rescheduled for 073125 1 to 3 due to being understaffed, rescheduled 3 to 6 pm arrive @ 6 20 pm. Did the inspection I eas badgering to sign an insurance form, very high sales statics, never received estimate. Called company to speak with supervisor/Mgr per oj would have randy call me, received call from Miguel explaining ing the estimate goes to insurance Co, I asked about 4 - 5 x for a written estimate, never received i advised him i have no insurance he said everbody has insurance, asked if he was calling me a liar, said since i wouldnot follow procedure they would not be providing service to my house. We really had a terrible experience with Action Roofing. First price was quoted, then increased and then increased again. Took 3 weeks (unknown at the time of contract) which caused us to miss our homeowner renewal price. I asked for photos and a paid invoice once the project was completed. The nasty CS rep said she would not give me the invoice until it was paid in full. I gave her my credit card and she got immediate approval. I said please send the invoice today. She said she would. She did, only it was an invoice with a 50% balance due on it. When I called her back telling her I needed it by 10:00am because the inspector was re visiting she said, "We sent it"!!! Well it was sent to the wrong email address. Since we could not produce for the inspector we have to pay another $150 for re visit. I asked her 4 times for the owners name. Action Roofing is a company I wouldn't hire to put a roof on my dog house. We bought a very expensive new construction home from GL Homes. They sub-contract to Action Roofing services and with the first heavy rain we had water pouring into the guest bathroom. A GL Construction manager looked at the problem and determined that it as a "goose neck vent" that was never sealed. Action hires people who are not actual employees most probably because I've seen various panel vans with a magnetic sign from Action Roofing slapped on the side, OH! by the way the sub-sub worker never removed the signage from the the dry cleaner he bought the van from. I've watched the roofing on many other GL Homes and it's clear that the workers are most probably day workers with no real skills. read more

I purchased a new roof and paid extra for an extended life expectancy. I noticed dry rot on the facia and thought it wasn't related to the roof. My neighbor was having a roof put on so I thought I would get an estimate to replace the facia. He told me it looked like a roof leak. I was shocked since it was a relatively new roof. He stated his company gives a 12 year warranty but most roofing companies give a 10 year. Chris came out and agreed it was a roof leak. He told me the roof was no longer under warranty. It was 4 months out of warranty but you could clearly see the leak originated well before 4 months. They quoted me significantly more than a competitor company to repair the roof. I hired another contractor to make the repair and was told I had 4 current leaks due to rot located in the facia. Today, I am having issues with another leak which is leak 5 needing to be repaired. All the leaks were in different areas of the house. I paid extra for roof materials expecting to get 35 plus years of worry free problems. This has to be the worst craftsmanship and customer service. I am going to seek legal advise! read more

I found a roof leak and notified Action Roofing, which installed the roof when the house was first built, not quite 8 years ago. A sales rep came out, confirmed the leak and informed me that there is only a one year warranty on a new construction roof, because, "they can't be responsible for other trades damaging the roof" during construction. I was angry that they would not take responsibility for repairing the leak and had another, well respected roofing company come out. The leak was caused by the installation person cutting through the roof paper when cutting the roof tile to fit!! I spent several thousand dollars to fix the leak, totally avoidable had the worker paid attention and immediately repaired the roof paper before putting down the tile. Not two weeks after this repair, I found ANOTHER leak!! I had the roof checked again. Two other leaks were found, also caused by the installer cutting the roof paper during tile installation. I'm still waiting to find out what this next repair will cost. Now, with three leaks in an 8 year old roof, all due to sloppy installation work, what are the chances there are more? I do NOT recommend this roof company at all. read more

Surprise Charges & Poor Customer Service = Disappointment with Action Roofing Services. While I've never posted a negative review, I feel roof buyers should be wary of Action Roofing Services. In replacing a roof for our 1,200 Sq ft home we had a bid that began at $19,872.00. After contracting we were advised we need to add clips for an additional $2,325.00 and accepted this proposal totally $22,197.00. That was just the beginning. Once the old roof removed and the new roof was being installed. Our salesperson, Chris Clark phoned and asked if I was sitting down. I said yes and sat down. He advised that the next check required was $16,041.50, not $7000 as contracted for Mop-In. A shocking staggering difference of $6,716.00 for additional wood and more clips that was not disclosed during the job. Concerned and caught unaware I called Charlie an owner of Action Roofing Services and explained the situation. A day later and several dollars short, I was offered a $500 credit to rectify their poor management and lack of communication during our roof replacement. A roof that began at under $20K, approved at $22K ended up costing $28,913.00 - $500 = $28,413.00. read more

After my ceiling caved in from a roof leak, I was in a panic and asked a business associate for a referral for a good roofer. I was so lucky that they referred me to Action Roofing Services. They came out and immediately secured the leak before the next storm rolled in and fast tracked my permit so they could get started right away. They did a fantastic job!! They removed the old roof, cleaned up all the debris, and the new roof was installed promptly and professionally. I highly recommend them.
