Absolute worst buying experience of my life but props to the parts counter for being on top of thier game. Amy was personable, professional, courteous and informative....THATS WHY I GAVE 2 STARS. Sales people are the worst. My experience purchasing a Honda Rancher was by far the worst ive had in my life-anywhere!!!. Took my deposit, no paperwork no conversation about how the sales and delivery process works at AMS, except a receipt then a call expecting me to drive back two hours the next day to fill out the paperwork. When i arrived i felt like they had way more important things to do. Im picking up my ATV on Tuesday morning, correction its now almost 1400 and still no ATV. As scheduled....... i wont be back.....AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND read more

Do not buy anything from this place! If I could give zero stars I would. We purchased 2 brand new ATVs. Told the salesman we didn't want the floor model because there was a piece on the back that was broken and the unit was scratched from being a floor model. He said we wouldn't get that one as they needed to assemble one and it would be ready in a week. When we got the unit home and looked it over, it was actually the floor model with the broken piece and all of the scratches. They did exactly what they said they would not do! When we called them, they wouldn't swap the unit out. They would only give us a replacement piece and we had to install it. Not to mention driving back in there to get it with record high gas prices. Wow. You spend thousands of dollars for a new ATV and are sold crap. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

I had my bike towed into Action near the end of business close, on a weekday. I had explained to the best of my ability the problems I was having with the bike. It's a Yamaha Vstar 650, 2007. The woman who I spoke with listened and seemed a little perplexed. She was patient and listened to what I had believed the problem was related to. Namely, the clutch and carb. The service writer and I went back to where I parked my bike outside of the service bay and we talked to the tech about the issue. The sincerity of the team was refreshing. The mechanic took it out and drove a few laps. He ran it through the gears. Aside from cosmetics here and there, he said the bike ran well. Soon after trying to resolve my issue, we discovered it was purely an operator error. I was at a gallon or so of gas in tank. I had driven approximately 145 miles that day. Because the valve switch was not on reserve, there was no gas being sent down to carb. The bike sputtering, dying and generally having trouble starting. It was fuel related. I'm writing a review today because of the honesty and straight forward approach Action Motorsports treated me and my bike. They did not attempt to take advantage of my inexperience by charging me for unnecessary labor, etc. I felt a little naive after the experience, and a bit sore at myself for not knowing better. However, I was very happy that I found Action Motorsports that day. read more

Why is there no option to leave zero stars. My wife left a bad review due to horrible service we received. The owner responded to the review as he always does ( ass kissing to people that left them a good review, most like because they were asked to by staff. Arrogant comments to people who shared their honest opinion and left an unsatisfactory review). With my love for local and small business, and my wife's kind heart. She removed her bad review as not to hurt their business and to give them the opportunity to give the customer service that should have been there all along. When my wife called to address her concerns as asked to she was placed on hold for roughly 6 minutes and then hung up on. The owner called back several hours later saying that he didn't appreciate her leaving a second bad review (which she hasn't... Yet) and that he was busy with some other ridiculous task and would call her back if she removed the second review. I'm sorry sir, we do not cater to ultimatums from someone trying to earn our business. There are PLENTY of other motorcycle shops in the immediate area. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this one. read more

Little disappointed in the service department took our brand new bike to have some accessories attached came out with a flat tire they refused to repair it saying it was our fault however they had the bike over 7 hours. drove the bike there with no problems could hear air coming of it when I went to pick the bike up. I recently went to purchase a bike there and everyone was super friendly and quick to help. Then I went after I put a down payment down the week before to sign the final paperwork and it took over 1 hour to actually have someone to sit down and finish the paper work. I went in to Action Motorsports looking to trade my supermoto in for a dual sport. The salesman and sales manager were very helpful and up front with what they could do for me with trade in (and they gave me a fair price on the trade in value for my supermoto). Once I decided on a bike they went to work on putting the numbers together, gave me a nice price for the new bike and I was ready to buy it. While I was waiting to pick up my bike I met with the parts department and the service department who were also friendly. I haven't had to go in for maintenance yet so I can't comment on that. Overall I felt very good about buying my motorcycle from Action, I never felt like I was getting robbed. I'd buy from them again. read more

They are OK if you need accessories but that's about it. I bought my bike there many years ago but I quit dealing with them because of their screw ups. Now I needed two screws for my front brake reservoir cap. They were supposed to be in 5/10. It's now 5/16 and I need them so I can go on a run this weekend. They got one in but not the other. He tells me it might be in tomorrow. Not only did they screw up getting my parts but now they're bullsh___ing me. read more

Mike the manger was very rude and disrespectful, their sales rep tried talking my brothers girlfriend into applying for a loan for a bike because she had a better chance at getting approved, she gets approved and they refuse to sale the bike to her because they said its an illegal straw purchase, their sales rep is the one that tried to commit illegal straw purchase by coercing them into having her apply for the loan for the bike knowing the bike was for him originally, will be filing a complaint with the BBB and state agencies for auto dealer fraud, tried to talk to mike about the situation and he was trying to rush me off the phone saying the store was busy i drove by there and there was almost nobody there, he didnt wanna talk about it because his store was in the wrong and tried to place blame on them to cover his store, i have a great attorney though and was informed of the rights we as a consumer have. read more

bought a atv and a sxs from action. took the sxs in for service and they said they serviced it but they didnt. it takes a special fitting to grease it and they didint have one and then tried to tell me i was wrong. took it in to get cv boot replaced they replaced the boot but i had to take it back in becasue they out a hole in the other boot on the same shaft plus they left out an o-ring and never replaced it but chrged me for it. i will never buy from them again. i am driving to lancaster honda to get my next sxs.also took my atv in to get carb adjusted to keep it from back firing. they charge me to look at it and to adjust it but it still back fired they never fixed it. read more

I called to have my bike serviced, the gold level. All the plastic, but the tank, was off the bike when I had the service done. When I picked the bike up they told me everything was working great. Put all the plastic back on and the bike would not start. Returned the bike to have them check it. 2 days later they called me telling me I needed a new fuel pump, that the bike had zero pressure on the output line. I was told the new fuel pump itself would cost $900, labor not included. Another $120 service charge for checking it. I wasn't happy about the extra charge and did some complaining that my bike ran fine when I brought it to them, they told me it ran great when I picked it up, and now a fuel pump just randomly goes bad? I was told they has their best mechanic working on my bike and these things happen. .At this point I had $600 in a bike that would not start, but ran fine before I initially took it to them. Decided not to go the new fuel pump route and picked the bike up. Researched online and found an after market fuel pump for a total cost of $40! After receiving the new fuel pump I dropped the bike off at a different garage. Mechanic calls me the next day and informed me a plug was blocking the output line!! Now I'm out the extra money for the new fuel pump and the new mechanic service charge. I was assured the plug didn't come from them. Laughable. With zero pressure the lines should have been one of the first things that was checked! CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! read more

Very friendly people. Not impressed with their mechanics. Took tire and wheel in for replacement, and while they change the tire, they didn't inflate the front tire fully. Shame on me, I didn't verify it, but drove the bike back the following weekend for inspection, front felt very mushy. Inspection said everything but front tire was fine, pressure in front tire was 12 psi (should be 38). When I told them they changed the tire the previous weekend and that was the pressure they sent me home with, didn't get a "sorry that happened", instead got "You really should check that." Got it. Will in the future, but you won't be doing my maintenance. And as an added bonus, state inspection was all good. But when i lubricated the rear wheel splines the next day, I noted the rear disc pads were completely worn. I don't think there were 2 thousandths of pad left, let alone 2/32. So couple lessons learned: 1. State inspections don't work (already knew that) 2. I won't be coming back here for maintenance. 3. Check the basics upon return from maintenance. read more
