Tiny machine shop located at an older man's house. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and I will definitely return there.

Hello, just wondering if you rebuild carburetors and how much it costs? I have a '71 Suzuki 225 with leaky carbs.

Errol, thanks for the request. I do not work on complete machines. If you can remove your carbs to bring them in I can repair them on the bench. Parts could be a problem, keep that in mind. Action Cycles will be closed from the 18th of December… Read more

Do they work on vintage (1960s) bikes?

Thanks for the inquiry. Yes, I work on vintage bikes, but a limited field. I only do engines, wheels, and some other pieces, not complete machines. I also don't do HD's or Euro bikes except for boring and most head reconditioning.

You can see it in his work but also hear it from him that he takes pride in his craftsmanship and with your bike. I took my 2013 V-rod Muscle to him with neck bearing issues and for them to install new tires. It was quick getting my bike in and out of there at a reasonable price. I had used Destination HD in the past for some work and parts. When I went looking for new tires before this latest set I went to Destination and the parts guys visually inspected the tires on my bike, which were Scorcher 11's. Apparently he forgot that fact between my and his parts book and ordered a Scorcher 11 front tire and a Dunlop Elite 3 rear. Then the tech at Destination HD installed and test drove my bike. To my defense I assumed all was good when I ordered them, picked up the bike, took it home, washed it and that is were I spotted their mistake. Actually 2 mistakes, 1. The parts guy ordering mismatch set of tires and 2. The HD tech not spotting or making me aware. Never again for me taking my bike to Destination HD. The only reason I convey this little story about Destination HD is when I brought my bike to C & A Customs, He ordered and installed the correct set of tires (Michelin Scorcher 11's) and replaced my neck bearings because they were toast. He even kept the neck bearing and showed them to me and the bottom one was toast. See pic posted.

Angelo said he could get me In quickly and the the next day his employee Travis (really cool dude) came to pick up my bike. I'm an impatient bastard and was itching to get back on the road quickly and called a few times and Angelo always spent a minute or two going over where they were at with installing the new transmission. When I went to pick it up he showed me the old transmission and walked me through how it broke. The bike now shifts better than ever and is running smooth. Final bill was less than what I was expecting. These guys do great work at a fair price, and everyone I met at the shop or talked to on the phone was great. I'll definitely be having them dyno my bike this winter. I highly recommend them.

I'm a long time mechanical tinkerer (is that a word?), and wanted to become more familiar with my bike. We set an appt. and I purchased the necessary parts at the local dealer. She arrived early and after a brief discussion of what we wanted to accomplish, she handed me a wrench and we got to work. She allowed me to do almost all of the work under her careful supervision. It was a fantastic learning experience. I loved the hands on, and now feel confident that i can tackle a few more jobs solo. I also know I can call her if I get stuck in the middle of something. Corky offers 3 styles/levels of service: DIY - You do as much hands-on as you feel comfortable with. Watch/Learn - Corky will perform the maintenance required and teach as she goes. You are welcome to grab a wrench and join in. Hands Off - If you don't like getting your hands dirty, let Corky do the dirty deed, and you can ride off into the sunset! What you need: A garage or safe (covered) place to work, a shop manual for your bike, and parts for the service. Corky will bring all the tools and knowledge. I highly recommend Corky's Motorcycle Service!!!
