I went to Action Auto Parts to purchase an Alternator for my car. They had the part in stock on the shelf for a reasonable price.

I arrived at O'Reilly Auto Parts after 9 p.m. hoping there would be someone available. The store employee Juan was compassionate, empathetic, extremely helpful and installed the new battery immediately. Note that I had stopped at AutoZone, and got "hey, man - it's almost closing. Come back in the morning". I am most thankful to Juan at O'Reilly Auto Parts for being a TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROFESSIONAL. This is the way that I wish ALL companies operated ! ! Wow, I went in to the Dewey Avenue store to get a new battery for my '04 Toyota Sienna tonight…read more There were two very helpful ladies working who asked me the make and model of my car. By the time I walked over to look at the batteries and back they had already written down every option specific to my car with all the associated warranty information and costs on a piece of paper I could take with me. I told them I was going to shop around, but I'll more than likely be back here to buy my battery. Compare this to Advance Auto on Dewey. Those people are miserable. Oh and the O'Reilly store is super clean and well organized. Jim Montanus 2-27-26

Got an oil filter that Oreilly auto parts told me to get for my 2010 crv along with 5 quarts of…read moreoil. I did my oil change as I have done for years. I started up my car and oil started spaying all over my driveway from the oil filter. In all it was approximately about a quart of NEW oil I lost. I went into the store to try and remedy the situation They thought it could have been a defective filter. I'm not so sure it was but that is here nor there. what it came down to was that they sold me an oil filter that did not work properly. They told me they could give me a new one of the same make and brand. I was not comfortable with this as I felt the filter was not sealing properly to the car. So I asked for another filter that was slightly more expensive at no charge because of inconvenience to myself. I also asked them for one quart of oil to replace the one I lost on my driveway. I wasn't asking for something for free but just to be made whole for my purchase. They told me that they would not give me the oil that was lost because of the filter THEY recommended and that if I wanted the other filter that I would have to pay the difference. Not only that but I had to go to Home Depot to buy some Zep oil cleanup at another loss to me. The real kicker here is that the sign in the door says "We strive for 100% customer satisfaction". Again I wasn't looking for free stuff I just wanted them to take responsibility for their mistake. Instead they made excuses and put the problem back on me the customer. They could have kept a customer if they just took a small hit for THEIR mistake. Too bad. I will drive a bit further for my Car parts from now on. Work on your customer service Oreilly.

Justin came by and did not even sit down to talk to us. He stood there and basically talked down to us (figuratively and literally). He went to print off some numbers and came back. We tried to negotiate and he went off and came back with a $500 discount saying that was the best they could do and to text him if we were interested. The entire exchange was probably less than 10 minutes. Then we saw him sit down at another table with another couple. We felt abandoned and as if he was not interested in talking to us. We asked if we could speak to someone else. They brought over Jay... and as we were walking over to a table, he started talking to another customer. We thought it was just a question but he basically sat down with them and again we were left by ourselves. The next guy came over and told us that he would find someone else for us, only to bring Justin back over, who seemed annoyed that we would even ask for someone else. We told him that it was because he was busy with another couple and replied in a snarky way that he could multi-task. It was evident by his rude demeanor that he was not willing to work with us. The entire exchange was just very dismissive and I'm glad that we ending up leaving and buying a car from another dealership where we had a much better experience. We will definitely not be coming back and will be telling everyone to avoid this location.
