Don't go here. My experience started 5 months ago. I needed a new battery. Went and placed it, ensured there was a warranty and drove away happy. Cut to this week. I go out to start my car. Nothing. Completely dead. I get a jump, it starts right away. I drive to this store and I was told that they would need to test the battery to make sure it was ok. They tested it but I was not allowed to see what the test said. They denied it was the battery and told me it could be my alternator. So I bring it home, have my son (a mechanic mind you) replace my alternator, and assume I'm good. I had an appointment at my dealer for an oil change (I still get them for free) so I asked them to check it when I brought it in to ensure my battery and starter was ok. Half hour later? they tell me the battery is completely dead. So dead they can't even tell if it is the starter. They give me that, in writing, so I head back to the store to get it replaced, thinking well now two people have told me it's the battery so they have to honor their warranty, Right?! I arrive at the store. Another gentleman parked next to me, in a brand new car, is also asking about his battery. They refuse him a new one as well. I try to enter the store, following the salesman who was testing this gentleman's car. He dropped the door on me. I stand in line and get the next person, not this man, and tell him my problem. Before the words come out of my mouth, this man broke into our conversation and told me we'd have to test it first. Several times. I called out his rudeness but he proceeded, while he was "helping" his own customer (he left angry too). He then again tests my dead battery and again says it's good, without showing me. Tells me he won't replace my warrantee part like it was coming out of his pay. He was the most disagreeable man I've ever encountered. So now I hear I sit, out of $259 because this store won't honor their warranties. The man next to me was about as happy with this news as I was and he left angry too. I could almost tolerate this if it wasn't also for the complete lack of respect I was shown. I don't need to be treated like a princess, but raising your voice to me in a store where you are employed is just plain outrageous. If anyone is wondering, this man's name I did not obtain but he looks like if Meatloaf had a baby with Skeletor. Avoid him at all costs. He does not deserve to have a job with his complete and utter lack of customer service. So, do not go here, especially as a woman, or you will be talked down to like you know nothing, even when you are correct and have paperwork to verify it. I will never enter this store again and I urge everyone to do the same. I will mention that the man I encountered the first time was nice, and the other man who tried to help me today was lovely. But this guy? Deserves to be fired. read more

Do not go to this auto zone. One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a shop. Kid behind the counter tried to upsell us a $300 battery for my car, after we had checked online for a battery and they have 10 other options available. He told us the cheapest one they had available was the $300 battery and attempted to tell us that's not what he said when we told him that online there were several other choices. He needed assistance from his boss three separate times to find us a battery that was not dead in the back and even his boss told him to stop grabbing the old batteries and to grab us a correctly charged one. I understand upselling the recommending a product and lying to customers are two very separate things. read more

They had a lot of options and it can be overwhelming if you are unfamiliar with vehicle maintenance (like me) The staff here are so amazing they helped me choose the correct model numbers for my car. Been here a few times over the years with okay shopping experience. Store is smaller than some other competitors in the area, and usually has a limited selection, though may have certain items a competitor doesn't carry. But felt a bit more disappointed with the last visit. Staff didn't seem very enthusiastic or welcoming. As a woman going into an auto supply store, I'm always brutally aware of the fact that I am not in an environment where I know much about anything. Be that as it may, I had taken the measurements for the product, found one compatible with my car, and he proceeded to make me second guess myself. Typical, receive online coupon for 20% off online order. Since my son works for Autozone he gets 20% off parts, so I send him to order a power steering pump at $226. I have him also pick up a quart of oil along with the pump. I see the receipt after getting home and They take 20% off oil ($0.76) and only take 10% off the pump. I lost @$25 in savings. I talked to the manager and he stated since it was an order part it only qualifies for 10%. So much for my sons 20% discount. Plan to return the part when arrives for pickup and purchase the part from another retailer. They come up with the special order excuse so they will lose the sale. We had a very unfortunate flat tire today and we're lucky enough to park right outside this autozone. The manager there saw us struggling to get the new tire on and came out and helped us right away. We had some trouble with our jack and he went above and beyond to get it lifted and put our new tire on for us. This was not because we even bought anything at autozone. Just out of being a good person. Because of the genuine good nature of the employees that we encountered I will now direct all my car needs to this store. I ordered a part went to pick it up today, and was told it was already picked up. The email says an ID is required, and the store rep said just a last name is needed. He was unhelpful, and did not seem to want to help me. Only after asking did he finally tell me to come back tomorrow to speak with a supervisor. I will never go back to Auto Zone. The manager at store #2922 in Rochester, NY and his team went ABOVE and beyond yesterday for my children and I. We were over four hours from home and something went wrong with my SUV. I was nervous about what was wrong, what it might cost, how would we get it fixed on a holiday weekend (it was Sunday afternoon and today is a holiday), what would the kids and I do (wanting to make sure they were safe) and totally unfamiliar to the area. Somehow we made it to the store and Mike and his team took amazing care of us! They diagnosed the problem in seconds...I had lost my serpentine belt! They were able to put on a new belt and get us safely back on the road. They truly saved me hundreds of dollars! Without their kindness I would have had to call for a tow truck, taxi for the kids and I, get a hotel room for a night or two, missed a day or two of work...I seriously cannot thank them enough! There truly is still good people in this world and I met a few of them yesterday. read more
