This is one of the now extremely rare honest, fair and knowledgeable companies that really care about what the do. They really want to help you. Always very responsive; answered every time I called except for once, so I left a voicemail. I had a response within 2 hours that same day. Everyone I spoke with could not have been more friendly and understanding. Rick, one of the owners (I believe) spent close to an hour of total time over 3 days answering my questions with in depth information and advice on how to identify my issue and potentially manage it myself. It was clear that Rick really knows his stuff when it comes to bugs. I don't though, so I didn't feel confident identifying what I saw, even with his vivid descriptions. The price he quoted me for treatment was specific to my situation and was by far the fairest price I had heard to that point after speaking with 3 other companies. And due to my ambiguity bordering on paranoia, I finally decided to schedule a treatment, mostly for peace of mind. Rick had already mentioned previously that they were full for the rest of the week, but was able to find a time to squeeze me in the next day! The guy who came out (Larry?) was just as friendly and knowledgeable. He identified the bugs as carpet beetles, and explained that what I found was a small infestation that I could probably manage myself. At no point did anyone insist on treatment or make me feel like it was my only option, despite my many requests for their profession opinion. (Larry?) made sure to update me on their availability around this holiday season and told me I could simply call back if I noticed any more problems. They didn't charge me a dime for coming out and consulting, or for all the information Rick provided over the phone. From now on, if I hear anyone in my life mention a bug problem, this is the company I will recommend.

After reviewing pictures of the bugs that we took, as well as a wing that was left behind, and not seeing any damage or bugs out, he determined it very unlikely we had termites. He inspected the rest of the perimeter & basement for any other sign of pest trouble. When asked if they deal with moles, he informed me in certain areas they do but not in my part of Northern, KY. Instead he gave me tips on how to rid the yard of moles doing it on my own. At the end of the inspection he gave me some sticky boards for the cave crickets we occasionally get in the basement. He wouldn't take any money for those or the consultation. Top notch customer service that comes off as trustworthy as they get

He immediately was able to determine it was a squirrel and proceeded to figure out the best way to capture him. After using his ladders to climb up on our very steep roof, he set a trap inside the chimney. He pulled off the chimney cap and repaired where the squirrel had broken the wire. He then walked the outside of our house and showed us places that needed our attention to repair to keep critters away. We also had issues with bats so that was very helpful and in fact he spotted a where a bat was perhaps living!! He returned as promised three days later only to listen and hear the squirrel was still alive. He returned three days later as we did not hear the squirrel and he went up on our roof and pulled the trap up empty!! He was able to put a camera inside our chimney and the darn squirrel was still breathing !!! He returned three days later and the squirrel had passed and he removed him. He then climbed up to the second story window shutter and found the freaking bat !!!! He repaired the loose shutter so the bat could not return. I cannot say enough good things about Doak. He is very, very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and professional. If you need a critter /animal removal specialist - I highly recommend Doak Grant.
