They just added a C172 to the existing C182, Cherokee 180, and Warrior. The Warrior is based at Deland convenient for those north of the river. It can still be an inconvenience if your favorite plane is down or scheduled when you want it but the rates are great (as low as $50 per hour tach for the Warrior).

They have one instructor who has limited availability and will treat you like dirt because he knows he's the only one allowed to do checkouts. Tried to deny me access to their aircraft by telling instructor to delay my checkout and continued to collect my monthly dues (because I left a 3/5 star review for Starport FBO). They are cheap but you get what you pay for, look elsewhere.

There was this one instructor that made a habbit of failing any student the first time. Everyone knew of this, instead of firing her they just switch her from testing students to testing instructors. Every instructor knew of this in such a matter that when the instructor found out that she was testing his student they went ahead and got the paper work together for a failing test. It didn't matter how good or bad she would always fail first test and pass second. That was just one of many ways delta stole my money.

I called for a small issue that I had a work-around for, but hoping to have it work correctly and within 5 minutes, the tech rep successfully broke my whole sim and it was unusable for months. He couldn't fix it and an outside company didn't care. I paid thousands of $$ extra and spent several months down to get this resolved and it's still much worse than before I called. Every time the tech tried to help, I had to make a new work-around to compensate for what he did. Finally, I gave up trying. These people don't know what they're doing. To be fair, most of their sims are one-offs and probably custom made so they make a new thing for every installation but I would shop elsewhere.

Since then he became a private pilot holder at the age of 17 after 4 months of training on the real plane and a few hours on the sim.
