Prior to takeoff, he detailed what he was checking & why, I felt my father was in good hands w him when they jumped into a the Diamond Eclipse plane.The training is 45 minutes, they have comfortable leather chairs, dvd player,kitchen & other amenities (blazing Wifi) if your waiting for flight to land. Most of them felt like they were trying to sell me something. Orlando Flight School was genuine from the beginning and made me feel like they were there to support my goals, not the other way around. They offer both part 141 and part 61 as well as helicopter training. I choose part 61 as I have a full time job. They were very flexible and were able to accommodate my work schedule. I can't speak more highly about my ground instructor Joe and my flight instructor Steve. Not only are they outstanding instructors, but also became great mentors. I cannot thank them enough for the knowledge and skills they have taught me. If you're hesitant about starting, my best advice is to invest in yourself and place your trust in the people who will genuinely challenge, support, and empower you to reach your full potential. These people are so disorganized. They say they'll call you back, but never do, and when you call…read morethem, they act like it's the first time they've heard of you. This happened 3 times in one day, and 3 more times in a week. We'd schedule, and they were supposed to call to confirm, and then they didn't. When I called, they'd reschedule. When we went for a flight, they didn't even know if their helicopter had been fueled, and kept us waiting for a half hour trying to find out if it had fuel! The pilots made me walk down to the runway - and then they drove themselves in a cart!! So rude. They didn't have a seat belt extender, and couldn't find one and told me they didn't want to buy one - so if you're plus-sized, don't even bother.
