But I never lost that nagging feeling to apply to be a FA. What JumpStart gave me was the confidence to start applying for major corporation jobs after being home with kids for many years! So completely out of the loop! As shy as I am I got two CJO's out of my first 3 interviews...and the only reason I did not get the job offer at my first interview was that I had a problem with my Resume...and could not use the one I had. I really cannot believe the untruth's I am reading in one of the other reviews it is such a joke, by someone trying to smear the name of a career Flight Attendant! And they literally put her name in the review. This place was nothing but professional, with all the teachers (who were current working Flight Attendants), educational (as we acted out how we would answer questions on interviews, truthful...as the teachers pointed out what you were doing wrong (that would NOT get you the job offer) and fun as all the students studied together at the hotel (after hours). Classes were NOT held at the hotel as that other reviewer stated...that is ridiculous. I am sure that reviewer never attended classes there. I miss Flight Attendant JumpStart, it gave me the confidence to get out there!

Then I contacted another number that was posted to a Nancy Middlebrook Piastuch - Extremely RUDE from the start! She said she was out flying, NEVER asked me my name, rushed through my questions and was VERY RUDE throughout the whole conversation!! She did not know about the program dates or dates of classes and acted as if I was bothering her! Kept saying I had the wrong number, but this was the number on the website and she said she was the owner???! I mean why post a number if you are not willing to talk to a potential customer? I decided to do a little in depth research and found out this company used to be Flight Attendant Express!!! A Leopard Never changes their spots that's for sure, must be the same filthy and unorganized company as before. They are NOT FAA Certified and she told me there is no such thing, nor any schools that are. PERHAPS she should do some research. 75 years experience WHAT A JOKE! IF YOU WANT TO LEARN INTERVIEWING SKILLS AND WASTE YOUR MONEY, THEN YES ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. BUT FIRST LOOK UNDER FLIGHT ATTENDANT EXPRESS-- LOW BUDGET PROGRAM-- I WONDER WHAT THEY WILL CHANGE THEIR NAME TO NEXT TIME?? http://www.flightattendantjumpstart.com/ oH AND THEY TEACH YOU AT A HOTEL?? HMMMM FYI IF YOU GO TO A FAA CREDITED SCHOOL-Those universities and trade schools meant to prepare graduating students to pursue their goal of a career in aviation with the FAA. Think about that before attending a fly by night

A funky little studio that teaches acting technique classes at various levels. That's about all I…read moreknow about it in that realm. A few friends of ours have been going to classes for a few years and seem to really feel it benefits them. The studio and actors put on a show every year that the past 2 years has been called Play de Luna - a series of one act comedic plays. At a low cost you can go to see some quick one act plays with some developing actors. Some are awesome and some are good, none are bad. The actors and directors work so hard at their craft and it shows. The studio itself is a small space. It's got a few rows of seats for an audience and some bathrooms with a small front lobby where they sell drinks during the shows. Overall, if you're looking for something to do in Oct or Nov - check out their show. It's a great fun weekend thing to do (and only suitable for adults). I can say that based on friend's testimonials it seems to be a great place for acting classes too but I cannot say that from my own experience aside from witnessing them get several jobs over the last year or so since they started taking the classes.

We started in November with the consultation/eye exam and our last session was in May. Michelle, the finance person, stated that she would work with us and get the letters for insurance and told us that UHC generally pays. We sent the letter to the insurance company and did not hear anything. We paid $600 a month for 6 months. We finally called the insurance company and found out it was denied. They said that Michelle would need to use a different medical code for them to pay. I called her and told her what they said and she said that was the only code she has, sorry. I was out of 3600 bucks and I was unemployed because I had a new baby. My warning to parents before you sign the contract with Visual Health, get the medical codes and go call your insurance company to ensure they pay before you SIGN ANYTHING. Unfortunately, the office does not work with your insurance company directly. Also, the $600 bucks a month covered 1 hour session per week and the parent has to go home and remember the exercises (3 or more) to do daily.
