The former was a blend of taro paste, sago, and boba in a light but creamy soup. The latter was a mix of lychee jelly, fruit pieces, shaved ice, and aiyu jelly in juice. What a cute little spot in Florence! 1. I was craving boba while in Italy and found this spot while walking around. It is such a hidden gem. We loved it so much we visited twice. 2. We tried the matcha fagioli rossi granita, mango con mochi, and matcha latte. I didn't have high expectations but everything was so good and refreshing. The matcha latte was one of the better matcha drinks I had while in Italy. 3. The interior is really cute and the employees are friendly and helpful. 4. This dessert shop was a hidden gem in Chinatown. While I didn't have high expectations for Asian desserts in Italy, this quite hit the spot, the mangoes in their shaved ice milk dessert were incredibly tasty and fresh. Maybe it's an Italian thing but I haven't had once piece of bad fruit yet. Fruit was exceptional. Docking one star because I did get the boba milk tea and unfortunately their tapioca was very mushy and not chewy and bouncy as I believe the standard should be. This is located in a busy shopping district in Italy and let me tell you, it's such a treat while abroad in a foreign country. As much as I like pasta and pizza, I'm always craving boba and this was a hit. They don't sweeten their drinks as much as they do in the states, so this really hit the spot. And they have a lot of common varieties like black tea, fruit tea, cheese tea etc. The only thing that irked me was that they wouldn't allow me to sit in their outside seating because I had a gelato from the place next door...even though my husband and I both ordered drinks from them. read more

We tried the #1 item on the menu (forgot the name. It has 10 different things). Absolutely delicious. Not overly sweet. Super refreshing, especially on a hot summer day. We also tried the special item. It was green tea with ice cream on top. Sooooooooo good. Highly recommend. This is like an Italian version of 鲜芋仙 but so much better. I personally don't understand the hype for 鲜芋仙. We stumbled upon Acqua Dolce mid-afternoon before having dinner. Don't be full by the size of the place, there is another sitting area in the back. They have very authentic Hong Kong style dessert and boba tea there. Even though the menu was written in English, if you have not been there before you're not really sure on what to get. We ordered a boba milk tea and a taro ball brown sugar. There is a weird flavor in the milk tea boba. The boba is not particularly good either. The taro balls were ok, but the sweet potato balls were not very good. First time visiting florence so I'm not sure what the bar is here, but this is not at all comparable to what you find in taiwan, or any other country with decent taiwanese desserts for that matter. read more
