We made the mistake of going to the other market on the first day here. This one is touristy, yes, but amazing. This pastry shop was the perfect stop before our long day at the Uffizi. I tried the chocolate cornetto which was too creamy (think cream puff croissant) but none too sweet. We also tried the pain au chocolat which was a hit and the mini cheese tomato pizzas. While I am more of a "sweets" girl, these were my absolute fave with the never ending fresh tomatoes. They were tiny and perfect! I would definitely return again, and buy in advance so I can actually eat at home and leave the ap't. at a decent hour. Delicious!
*Also, for those in the know, this is like the indoor part of Granville Island in Vancouver but much much better! It also reminded me of a much better version of the one in Napa and the new Anaheim packing district, but again, much better and authentic.
