I'll give this two stars because it could have been worse. A lot of google reviews mentioned that it was clean. I can confirm that it was clean but that was one of the only positives, that and the owners/staff were nice and it appears it to be independently owned.
Room number 10 was supposed to be a non-smoking was room but it smelled of an old Vegas casino--like years of third hand smoke and a lack of fresh air created a lingering must bordering on hopelessness.
The room looked like it hadn't been remodeled or kept up in decades, apart from painting. The faux wood veneer made the room feel darker than it was. The linoleum in the bathroom had turned a dark yellow, providing a strange two-tone contrast to the part that hadn't aged as quickly.
Other reviews said it was affordable. $80 on a Friday night for such accommodations seemed steep, particularly in the internet age of booking deals, but I admittedly don't have much comparison with similarly situated motels in the area.
The only reason we stayed here was because my in-laws booked it after our AirBnB fell through and now I am seriously questioning the family I married into. To be fair, their room seemed slightly better than ours. I hope my fellow Yelpers don't ever have to stay in room 10. read more
