Had a great breakfast at the Acorn guest house this morning. There were three to choose from: The traditional English Breakfast, the Continental Breakfast and the Vegetarian Breakfast. The Continental Breakfast is about cereal and cold breakfast items. The Vegetarian, of course is about no meat.
The traditional English breakfast (Which I ordered) features an egg sunny side up on a piece of toasted white bread, a sausage link, a couple of pieces of ham, a cooked piece of tomato, sauteed mushrooms and baked beans in a tomato based sauce. White and wheat toast with a variety of jellies and jams, coffee, tea and orange juice also came with the breakfast. Everything was cooked very well. The meats were all a bit salty, as you might expect, but everything was quite good!
The dining room is very small and tables are right next to each other. Very cosy.
(The price I clicked on below refers to the hotel, which is a very nice - moderately priced three star European hotel. Smallish room with a smallish shower, but super friendly staff) read more
