Here is what unfolded recently ... My vacation home is a 150 miles away from my main home and I am hardly ever there. So I had to trust Ben completely when he said that he had replaced the well pump motor and that the well was now in good working order. Ben was not happy when I asked if it was okay to pay him in several days giving me time to verify the wells status. His previous temporary fix a week earlier didn't work at all, so I was a bit reluctant to pay this time without checking it out. Despite my hesitancy, he demanded that I pay him immediately via a credit card. So I paid in full based on what I believed was his honorable reputation. The well did work for a couple of watering cycles, but 2-3 weeks later it failed once again. Ben went out to investigate and stated that it was a minor issue and that he would fix it in couple weeks. About 2.5 weeks later, with temps close to 100 degrees and a lot of dying plants, I called Ashley his assistant to convey some urgency. She assured me that he would be out in a few days to make the repairs. Needless to say, he never showed up, nor were any of my increasingly desperate calls to his office ever returned.

I called him after finding him online and asked if he could help with a wire and plastic clog in my well. after a few weeks he came out and gave me a quote. was unbelievable expensive but I had no choice since all the other well drilling companies were booked out months. he had me call him every week for literally 2 months. always another excuse and story about this and that with another job etc. he kept putting me off but in the meantime every 3 weeks I have to fill up my water tank while I have no well. I had to do this twice at $260 every time. mind you he also told me to have a huge water run off pit dug which cost me money out of pocket as well. I call the main line after he stops answering and calling me back. I get his son on the phone and he tells me he went on vacation to taxas. i'm like wow this guy is a real character and has no urgency for my emergency whatsoever. so he says ill have him call you when he gets back. I never heard from rick again. only to hear back from his son several weeks later, explaining that they are too busy and they cant help me cause they are afraid something might go wrong. who does that????? Rick Aspin does that. String you along and then bam no help in the end. its like hes on his way out of the business and doesn't want to take any challenges on or something. smh, all I can say is I did some research and it looks like I'm not the only one that has had issues here. go to water-well-info.com and look up rick aspin. wish I had known this before I contacted and wasted my time and money.
