After having my well in place for several years, I needed to instaff al storage tank. Ransom Pump and Supply did all the work to move the pump inlet into the tank and plumb the tank to the outlet, including a booster pump to keep the pressure constant and also a pump switch that would cyle the well pump so it would not overheat. It's been working perfectly for years. Just recently I found that the pressure regulator that controls the booster would sometimes not cycle on. A quick tap on the top and it would cycle. Then there were times that it would not turn off causing overpressure. Luckily for me, the same technician came out, the same day, knowing my system. He immediately diagnosed the switch problem and also replaced the pressure gauge. Parts and labor were very reasonable for my "rush job". I hope I don't need them right away, but when I do, I will call again. read more

I woke up to no water pressure in my house. Called Ransom Pump early in the morning, two men showed up a few hours later, and by noon we had service again. The problem was a gunked up nipple connected to the pressure switch, so it was misreading the pressure and not responding the way it should. Brand new customer, highly satisfied with the service! We recently bought a home with two pump up systems and are brand new to having to deal with all that is involved. First thing this morning the technician determined that both my well pumps needed replaced. He went to investigate and determine that the pumps were inaccessible. Called for work. They advised there a few weeks out but will schedule appointment when available. Never scheduled appointment just called when they were 5 minutes away to say their coming. Had to scramble to get someone to meet them. Completed the work while I was not home. Needed plumbing configured to allow construction of well house, advised the installer this twice. Came home and plumbing components were in the slab edge not allowing for wall installation. Had to have the plumbing reconfigured by another vendor due to ransom never answering the phone and there answering service advising they should be open but no ones answering. Quality of work was good it was just completed incorrectly and had to re-do everything. Make sure your home to supervise if you need anything specific. read more

We developed a major underground leak at the fire department hookup in our driveway. I called Ransom and they had Augie meet me within the hour. After determining what was wrong and coming up with a solution (that didn't involve destroying my driveway) he provided me with a very reasonable quote to do the repair; and a plan to complete the repair the next day, which they did. I had a well emergency and if you are one of the lucky (or unlucky) people who rely solely on well water to supply your entire house you know that this is truly an emergency! My entire 5,000 gal. holding tank was empty and I couldn't figure out what was going on. I called Ransom and Chuck came out within a few hours. He immediately told me there nothing wrong with my well and that I had a broken water line somewhere. I had suspected this, but had already walked my property and hadn't been able to find any wet spots. Chuck went above and beyond by helping me find the broken line, digging it up and trouble-shooting exactly where the leak was. He even set me up with someone to fix the broken line as I have always done minor irrigation repairs myself and had no idea who to call. I went to use a faucet this week only to find I had run out of water. Turns out my storage tank was empty due to a failed well pump. When I called my warranty company they dispatched Ransom Pump (who was also recommended by my neighbors independently). They contacted me and had someone out to evaluate my problem in a matter of hours. Very fast response (Sarah, Chuck), great customer service (Sarah, Chuck, Jason) and excellent knowledge (all) on the systems. They were very helpful throughout the process and I highly recommend them. They care that you have your problem solved as fast and as economically as possible. I have since discovered that the failed pump is under warranty and I am going to use the original installer for the repair.
