We bought this property not having any experience with living off a well system. Turns out our tank was not holding air and had a leak in the piping system to our house. Ashley got a service person out right away and scheduled us to re-pipe the main. Ray was a pleasure to work with and very hard worker considering the Valley Center summer heat! We will for sure keep their contact information on hand if we ever need them. Price was right on our budget (ie: I didn't have to do the work). Thank you Ashley and Ray for a great experience.

After reading these reviews, I felt reassured that Ben Fain was reliable and honest. Unfortunately,…read moreBen's conduct with me bore little resemblance to all his positive reviews. Here is what unfolded recently ... My vacation home is a 150 miles away from my main home and I am hardly ever there. So I had to trust Ben completely when he said that he had replaced the well pump motor and that the well was now in good working order. Ben was not happy when I asked if it was okay to pay him in several days giving me time to verify the wells status. His previous temporary fix a week earlier didn't work at all, so I was a bit reluctant to pay this time without checking it out. Despite my hesitancy, he demanded that I pay him immediately via a credit card. So I paid in full based on what I believed was his honorable reputation. The well did work for a couple of watering cycles, but 2-3 weeks later it failed once again. Ben went out to investigate and stated that it was a minor issue and that he would fix it in couple weeks. About 2.5 weeks later, with temps close to 100 degrees and a lot of dying plants, I called Ashley his assistant to convey some urgency. She assured me that he would be out in a few days to make the repairs. Needless to say, he never showed up, nor were any of my increasingly desperate calls to his office ever returned.

The phone call was answered professionally by an informed person (such a treat in today's world) and I was transferred to Guy and Devon / Devin. We discussed the issue and developed a path forward. Once on-site, they were quickly able to diagnose and resolve the issue. Fortunately for me, we had a minor issue (= not very expensive) but Guy and Devon / Devin were happy to show me the issue and explain options. They were interested in sorting out the problem, not maximizing their billing. I would highly recommend McDannald Pump systems to anyone that requires their services.

After 20 years our pump gave out and had to be replaced. They came out in a couple of days to fix the pump and their work was more than exceptional. It's not just the job at hand that they perform but a total review of how everything is working with any adjustments required to keep things working for a long duration of time.
