Look at that slice !!!! 5 storys high!!!!! Chicago style deep dish baby!!!! It was glorious, delicious, hot, saucy and perfect. They have cold beers on tap and have a menu appetizers, salads, thinners, pizzas, onion rings, etc. But that deep dish...so satisfying. My new go-to when near this area for sure.

When they say something is a "slice of heaven" they must have been talking about the pizza from ACME Pizza. I have had this on my list of places to go from when we lived in California and were planning on a visit (then moved here). Well I finally got the chance when we stopped here for lunch on Sunday. The owner was here, a nice woman, but I didn't get her name. The staff was very good and attentive. But the Chicago deep dish pizza....OMG, if you have never had a deep dish pizza then you are completely missing out on your pizza experience. We met up with some friends that live local, and they have not ever had deep dish...I think everyone agreed at our table this was excellent...!!! I was so happy when I was there, when I left and when I now think about it. It should be on the top 10 pizzas in the U.S. on Yelp for sure.

This restaurant has a nice open pizza pub vibe that is clean and well-maintained. The owner/management are visibly present and carefully overseeing the staff which is noticeable in both positive and negative ways. The food itself is a mixed bag in that there Garlic Knots are really good and their thin crust pizza is inconsistent. One time the pizza was excellent, the second time it was honestly terrible. We do plan to come back to give their deep dish a try as that seems to be what they are known best for besides the delicious garlic knots.

Ok, I've visited and had the best pizza in Chicago and I'll definitely say that Acme is spot on in flavor. It's also tame Chicago-style pizza in the sense that it's not as thick and casserole like as I've had-- and I love that for me! Our Italian sausage and pepperoni pizza was fantastic, and I enjoyed the crust as well. Our to-go order for pizza night was perfect!

Being a former Chicago native and one who loves deep dish pizza I would have to say this is the closest thing to being back in Chi town

Amazing pizza and mozzarella sticks! The customer service could be stepped up a bit. My lady and I were in the restaurant for an hour. Our waiter came maybe 3 times.

Service was great. Warm friendly faces. We ordered the garlic knots. The bread was fried almost like doughnut dough. Wasn't a huge fan. Just made the bread tougher. The marinara is phenomenal. We ordered the acme classic with pepperoni. When i say i was fishing for the sausage and pepperoni....i was literally searching for it. The crust tasted frozen? Flavor was good, just wish i could taste more of the toppings. There were tons on onions, that's for sure. Wouldn't say this is the best deep dish

Closed? I want to try this place but the phone seems disconnected and the website redirects so often that is fails to load most of the time.

I drove by there the other day and they appeared to still have everything set up. Website loads for me.

So while I was around, I decided to look for it and we found it. It looks big on the outside and when you go in the left side, your gaze will lock into this spot to your right and it will suddenly transport you to an Italian villa to park yourself on the couch. I wanted to do this but our eyes caught more, the walls, the other cozy table and chairs, the bar like set up to get your coffee, tea, refreshers, or simply eat there. Along the wall by the cashier, they offer to go treats, dark chocolate bars, beef jerky's, cheese bites, high end chips... the pastry display will soon be packed with other goodies that they get delivered. Right now, they have muffins, lemon bars. I also saw a deli meat since they will be serving charcuterie too. By the back door to the patio, they sell bottled drink of all sorts, some I've never seen. We bought a refresher and a chocolate bar that I thought were delicious. The chocolate is of high quality and will bring you satisfaction. The wine area, located to the right side can be closed off for private events or other events. They will offer wine tasting, bottle that you can purchase whether cold or room temp. Once the area is fully finished and stocked, this will be a beautiful spot. The bathrooms are gorgeous and spacious. You will need to check it out for yourself. Lastly, the owners are so nice. I've never met them before but she is the warmest being. She gave us a tour, explained to us how they operate and that soon she will be posting events located above the building where you can enter at the door with an awning 2a. Also, soon, if you are seating outside in the back, you can tap at the small window to order a drink. How convenient is that? Right now, please be patient as they still work out all the kinks to perfect their spot. It is a nice place to go while we wait for our children doing sports near by.

I was thrilled to hear they were opening up one closer in Holly Springs. This location is also a huge supporter of the community. I have seen them donate portions of their sales in the evenings to different organizations such as local schools and scout groups. I feel like this is rare these days. The selections of soda's is unlike anywhere else I've ever seen. They have literally hundreds of varieties of everything. You could buy something different everyday and still not try them all within a year. I have no idea how to tell what's good and what's not, I usually just pick something at random and it's never let me down. The burgers are just as good as Five Guys which is the golden standard of fast-ish burgers, but at a better price point which is great considering this is a local small business competing with a giant. You can't go wrong with any of the speciality burgers, I really like the Good Morning Burger and the Hawaiian Cowboy Burgers. They sell red hot dogs for the kids who would prefer that. My daughter really loves the loaded cheese fries with bacon, she gets it as a meal. Milkshakes are okay, they are good for the price point but honestly I have had better. I usually stick to soda. It is serve yourself. You order at the counter and you pick out your own bottle or if you choose the drink station you get your own refills. The original location has more of a "old school diner" feel than this location which somewhat reminds me of maybe late 90's.

I quickly scanned their hefty bloody mary menu and ordered the Lobstrocity, featuring veggies, shrimp, a grilled cheese sandwich and a fresh lobster tail atop a sizeable glass of the main concoction. This was definitely a meal in a glass! It was all quite delicious and filling, and I was glad I'd opted out of any of the optional add-ons like filet mignon, crab claws, or frog legs. Of course, I still had to order half a dozen raw oysters for dessert. And no, I won't be eating for the rest of the day! What made this a 5 star experience was our phenomenal server, Trevor. We started with the mojito flight, which was honestly a fun way to kick things off. The Lavender and Blood Orange were my favorites, but the Chipotle Pineapple had a surprisingly good smoky-sweet balance, and even the Desert Pear was refreshing without tasting overly syrupy. For appetizers, the fried calamari disappeared fast -- crispy, tender, and not greasy at all. The New England clam chowder was rich and comforting, and the lobster scallop bisque was probably the sleeper hit of the night. Creamy, decadent, and loaded with flavor without being overwhelmingly heavy. The Virginia oysters were... fine. Fresh enough, but they didn't really stand out compared to everything else we ordered. Now for the stars of the table: the frog legs and the COCONUT CURRY PEI MUSSELS. The frog legs were perfectly fried and surprisingly delicate, but those mussels? Easily the best dish of the night. The coconut curry broth was ridiculously good -- rich, aromatic, slightly sweet with a little heat. Still, the food itself was strong enough that I'd absolutely come back, especially for those mussels and another round of mojitos. Solid 4-star seafood spot for Holly Springs.
