And the vibe is fun and lively, if a little chaotic at times. The other day a couple of staffers had a (very quick) dance-off that had everyone smiling. Service is always great - I'm short, and if I can't reach something, a staff member always gracious gets it for me and asks if I need anything else, and the folks at checkout are friendly and fast.

TJ's has its own private parking lot makes it easier to shop in this busy section of the town. The store is well kept and clean. It is well stocked with lot of unique items for which Tjs is know for. I liked their bakery section however they ran out of the sourdough bread. The diary section was great too. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They walked with me to help locate some of the items I was looking for. I wish this store is near by. It is definitely a great store to check out if you are closer by or during visit to Ardmore. Prices are typical of any Tjs and good for the quality and variety of the items they carry. The lines had a wait time but not bad. Kudos to the team at this location.

On a recent visit to the store to purchase 3 items, I got behind another customer in the only check…read moreout line that was open. The cashier rung up the gentlemen's order but could not scan his coupon with the scanning gun. He called for the manager who came over about a minute later and also could not get the gun to work. After about another 2 minutes of trying to figure out why the gun wasn't working, the manager suspended the transaction and took the gentleman to another register to finish his transaction. Meanwhile, my cashier could not use his register without the manager re-opening it. At this point, there are about 8 other customers in line behind me. After finishing the other transaction, the manager spends about 1 minute talking to another employee before coming back to my check out line. Magically, 2 more check out lines open up. With nowhere to go since my items were already on the belt, the other customers flock to the newly opened lines. I have now been standing here quietly for 10 minutes and in that time neither the cashier nor, and most especially, the manager never once acknowledged me or apologized for the inconvenience. Upon her arrival at the check out line, the manager took out the cash drawer and for the first time (and without apology) said anything to me. She informed me that: "You have to go get in another line." Upon telling her that I should not have to go to the back of a line and that she should ring up my order, she responded by saying: "No, you have to go to another line", I told her once again that she should ring up my order and she once again responded: "NO." Needless to say, I left the store without purchasing my 3 items, and I will never be back. I have seen some people that should not be considered "management" in my day but this one was the worst. No acknowledgement, no apology for my inconvenience and just expecting me to pick up my stuff and wait in the back of another line after I had already wasted 10 minutes of my time just because she didn't feel like ringing up my 3 items. PATHETIC!!!

I've been a fan since experiencing The Fresh Market in both Columbia, SC & VA Beach, VA decades ago…read moreand was delighted to see one come to my neighbor hood in Briton Lakes. It IS a specialty boutique grocery store that provides alternative food choices to those seeking needed 'healthier' resources when one chooses dairy-free or gluten-free diets. It also provides stellar high quality meat, fish and cheese choices for those with discriminating tastes and perhaps a larger discretionary grocery budget. Not having any food allergies or dietary requirements that prevented me from enjoying their bakery items; I was MOST PLEASED The Fresh Market offered seasonal desserts like their Buche Noel at Christmas and a yummy coconut cake at Easter! It's my 'go-to' shop for their rosemary sourdough rolls which have never disappointed in the decade plus years I've enjoyed them. They add an elegant twist for rolls when I'm entertaining. My fav reason to pop into my local Fresh Market is for their excellent variety of daily freshly prepared sushi ! I greatly appreciate the kind willingness of the 'sushi preparer' to create the sushi selection I'm looking for when it is not already prepared or missing from the daily selection! Having resided in Tokyo where fresh sashimi and sushi are dietary mainstays, the Fresh Market rarely disappoints with their quality of ingredients and quite reasonably priced. If you been pondering a visit to The Fresh Market in Briton Lakes shopping center, I highly encourage popping in to give it a try! And if one is looking for a fabulous floral selection, this is another benefit for one stop shopping! ENJOY the fragrances!

This place reminds me of Aldis because they have similar food products and inexpensive prices. The aisles are long. They have a large selection of vegetables, meats, snacks and spices. Many selections are organic. I bought about 5 spices, each cost $1.95. They sell quality raw meat too. I bought the Farmers Focus Brand organic chicken wings for $4.75 and chicken thighs for $5.00. In all, if you like Aldis, you'll like shopping at Lidl. Don't forget to download the Lidl App. I got $5.00 off my first order.

Not going to dance around this…read more My personal experience has been, many Black Americans in the Philly area do not like Asian Americans and have no problems showing it. Young black worker roaming aisles was greeting everyone, 'Just let me know if you need anything" and trying to be helpful. This was like 4-5 times I witnessed this. But to me, nothing. No greeting. Not a word. I stood in an aisle specifically looking for something, and she was in that aisle too, standing next to me, looking at the same shelving too, but nothing, nothing, nothing. If I were the manager, I would fire her. But then again, I didn't see too many Asian-Am faces among the customers so as long as most of the customers are white, it should be ok, at least from a purely financial perspective. The Southeast Asian / Indian-American checkout clerk who helped me was very friendly and courteous. The store was not stocked much differently from Wayne / Gateway Shopping Center. And it was less crowded (but this store is new) and aisles were a little wider, I think. This is still PA so, of course, no alcohol. Don't think I am returning. Exploring Exton when I moved here brought me to ALDI. My co-worker always raves about this place…read moreso I decided to stop by one evening. They're supposedly the same company as Trader Joe's which we all know offers fresh groceries as affordable pricings. ALDI is similar in that everything is very inexpensive. Don't expect to see many name branded items here. They are mostly generic items and still quality in my opinion. They have some organic produce too which are affordable and fresh. ALDI is a good place to find staple everyday stuff. More specialty items you'll have to search and wait around for. Their stocked items change regularly so you'll never know what you find here. One thing I learned is that they don't provide free bags. Reusable bags are available for purchase at $0.10 each. They're very sturdy and well worth the $0.10. You need a quarter to release the shopping cart outside (which will be returned to you when you return your cart). They have a long counter near the checkout for patrons to place their purchased items in their own bags (that is if you brought your own which i highly recommend). I've been here a few times to buy my milk, eggs, produce and juice. Sometimes I'll have find good deals on kitchen ware, snacks and seasonal stuff. the cashiers are always pretty fast and nice. yay for ALDIs! My only dislike is you can ONLY pay with CASH or DEBIT, no credit cards which means no credit card rewards, points, etc!!!! oh, remember to grab a circular for next weeks specials on your way out!!!
