Location: 620 Rockhill, Bensalem PA This store is the location closest to my home however I will travel further for a better shopping experience. Things like Employee customer service, quality or produce, shelves that have product stocked, cleanliness all matter to me. First let me point out that aldis is not handicap supportive. They have no scooters or wheelchair shopping carts. This particular location is messy, things on the shelves are all over the place, boxes open, some expired product, when employees are told that there is a malfunctioning cart that will not accept your quarter and not unlock, they shrug and do not do anything about it. The PRODUCE is always half stocked, and empty boxes are everywhere. Then the quality of this locations produce is meh at best. DAIRY is another area that tends to be empty no matter the day or time you shop. Store response to this...oh the truck didn't bring the right order, full order...but it's always blamed on the truck. Also Deals aside is thrown everywhere with no attempt to actually straighten it. One thing to be aware of with ALL ALDIs is that they flip/switch distributors so quality continuity does not exist in the products. When grocery shopping know your prices and sizes because it may not be your best bet to complete your whole grocery list here.

Picked up some pork chops for dinner at a very reasonable price. There you have it, something for the main meal, some for dessert and snacking. I hear their bakery section is also reasonable but I don't do very many carbs so I mostly skip this. The rest of the store keeps me busy and happy. The checkout is an interesting blend of self service (you bag) but they ring you up. I like the layout which makes it convenient for you to bag and pay easily.

I believe they're family-owned, and it shows in their service, in that they care for their customers. Bakery section is unmatched by local competitors too with a variety of gluten-free/vegan selections. Depending on what you're looking for, some things can be pricey, however that may also be more typical of the area. Given the specialty items available and the ambiance provided, I can see the value behind the prices-especially given you can't find some of those items elsewhere. I have found in the fridged and frozen foods section you can normally find a few good deals along with some new finds! The fruit and vegetables are a hit or miss, but they have great dried fruit. Their sister store in Doylestown does the fresh fruit great each time I've been however. (Note: I've been to this store less than I have that in Doylestown). Glad to shop here for the unique finds, consistently friendly service, and good deals I find. Thanks, McCaffrey's.

I went to the langhorne location on Cabot Blvd recently and was very disappointed. The place needs to be shut down! While I was at this location getting some way overpriced lunch I saw what looked like multiple rat droppings on the counter. I chose not to go through with my lunch purchase because I was so disgusted! These people are already overcharging for very bland overated food but this made it so much worse. Do yourself a favor and don't eat here! The place is now a dump but it's not like this company cares about the health and welfare of the people. All that matters is that they get your money! Ugh what a disgrace do not go here!!!!!!!

The new dairy section shelving for yogurt is a disaster. It's typical deli / convenience store in the vein of Wawa with an Italian focus (much like, say, Roman Pantry in Penns Grove). The kinda place that's got pickles, bins of rolls, prepared foods, coffee, taskycakes, and random dinner ingredients. Anyway, the sandwiches were great, almost busting apart from so much meat. Definitely worth a try. As for the convenience store half, it might be handy if you just need milk or a box of pasta on your way home. Otherwise I suspect most people will just drive into one of the worst parking lots ever only a mile down the street and run into ShopRite. UPDATE: Christina's has since minimized the store half of the establishment, focusing mostly on sandwich and side take outs. They still have an odd collection of overpriced Italian groceries (and Boost!, yeck), supplies appear to be dwindling. Hey, they had to give it a try... So now that the focus is on the food, I'm bumping their score.
