If you are not a local to Alton I dont recommend coming. Our waitress was more interested in chatting with locals then paying attention to new customers. Very loud. Took forever to get water refill Waited over 1/2 hour for food to be delivered. Waitress never checked on us. Baked Haddock. Cold under seasoned spinach under cooked rice. Surf and turf. Overcook scallops. Steak tips under cooked Asparagus not edible didn't clean up the woody part of steam. Steak quesadillas was good Fried lobster was good french fries cold. It appears that this place wants to keep it local.

Pistachio Martini (drink special) and a Johnnie Walker Red on the rocks. Nice pours all around!

Great food, great service, nice atmosphere - the music is never too loud which I appreciate so much!! And one martini will hit you, but two is more fun :)

    Everything cooked to perfection.

We liked the fact that some apps could be ordered by the piece (coconut shrimp, lobster rangoon), so you could mix or match or scale up or down based on your party size and appetite. I ordered a turkey gobbler wrap, which seemed a little off the trail as it is usually served as a sandwich, and had ingredients like hot peppers. Overall good, but I think better with bread. The coconut shrimp starter was very good and the twist here is that it was served with a coconut creme sauce, rather than the traditional orange marmalade. A nice spot for lunch with a view, and we would stop in again when in Alton Bay

What struck me odd was that I asked for a Diet Coke (Waitress never said it was Pepsi - I subsequently found that out on the menu) and they do not do complimentary refills (strange for a higher end lunch place). It overlooks Alton Bay which is a nice view. It is also style from a few decades back- I think they could use a re do here.

I was heart broken but it was my own undoing as I djdnt make a reservation. Just as I was opening yelp to find another place to try she came and got me from outside as a spot opened up! That's service! And I won't forget it. All the staff was very kind and she checked in with me several times during my meal to make sure it was going well. The ambiance is a little noisy but it's a raw bar that has sports on. The food is delicious. I could have eaten the Cippino forever! The broth was a complex delicious and perfectly spiced tomato base. The seafood was plentiful and large sized. I have never seen shrimp so big! I also ate oysters and had an amazing home made peaches and cream cheese cake. Listen I don't really like cheese cake but I could eat that cake everyday for the rest of my life. Everything from start to finish once I sat down. Was delicious and the staff was very kind. This food was fired fresh in the kitchen. I could see if from my bar seat. So if it took a little bit it was worth it! I'd eat here the next time I'm in Manchester 10/10

Staff appeared uninterested and inattentive, and we had to repeatedly ask for basic items. The food did not justify the prices at all. The seafood was overcooked, lacked flavor, and did not taste fresh. Portions were small for what you pay, and the presentation was careless. Overall, this restaurant is overrated and did not live up to expectations. I won't be returning and would not recommend it unless there are serious improvements in both service and food quality.

She took the time to tell me the different options. We also discussed black raspberry ice cream. They sell both soft serve and hard ice cream. They flavor there soft serve with syrup so you can get black raspberry soft serve. The picnic benches outside were nice to eat at. The fried clams were very good. I enjoyed having lemon wedges, catsup and tarter sauce. I truly didn't need the fries and Cole slaw. It was plenty enough food. I decided to go for the black raspberry hard ice cream and boy was I disappointed. I got a pile of pink incense cream that didn't taste like black raspberry at all. I've eaten this flavor in a New England since I was a child. My first job was scooping ice cream at the Broadway dinner in Worcester, MA. There was NO way that was black raspberry. I told the 2nd girl that helped me and she said that's just the way it comes. On top of it there was something white hanging off the side. She replaced it with black raspberry Oreo and that was purple and tasted like dirty black raspberry. I had a hard time eating it and would never have their ice cream again. Pops has better seafood and the ice cream place across the street was better as well.

My order was prepared to order in about 8 minutes. I enjoyed my food outside. The Lobster Roll (3 oz of knuckle & claw meat in mayo) on a toasted New England hot dog roll. It was DELICIOUS - more tail than claw- which made me extra happy!! The service was outstanding, I believe the owner was there- but the young lady was also quite sweet. They answered all my questions, both on the phone, and in person. I also ordered the haddock and fries for tomorrow- but of course I tried it. So tender and flaky!! Their fries are hand cut, and have both sweet potatoes and regular potatoes. So good! Lunch is going to be great tomorrow! The place is a yellow food truck, so seating is casual at picnic tables.
