I was brought on as warranty Manager and came to the realization that something awful was going on with the warranty department. Colorado law states that all new builds come with a one year warranty. This is for the homeowner and the builders protection, in reading this warranty I came to the educated conclusion that the home owner had no way of ever getting anything corrected. I spoke to the owner and he explained to me that this is the way it's Supposed to be in his company. I was shocked but swallowed his words. This owner stated several times that his company is an open book something I never saw. I personally witnessed a home inspection PAY in his contract for a built in gas grill to the amount of 3600. This was added to his total bill of the home. He received a store bought gas grill and it was left in the garage. When the home owner just patiently asked for the amount back minus the cost of the grill he was told NO you have a grill and told me as the warranty rep to offer him 500 to go away. The homeowner was tired of an uphill battle and relented. Two weeks go by and still no 500 to the homeowner. I believe in KARMA so I sent an email to the boss ( I put it in writing ) that the company agreed to the 500. I also sent a resignation letter directly after. Please watch your self if you do business with this company. Please There is no employee loyalty in this place they go thru employees like I change my underwear (lol).
