Terrible personal skills. Their new talent person needs to take business classes on how to handle and talk to people.

It all started back in 2011 when on the hunt for a "real job" after graduating college in 2010. I…read morewas ready to rid the late nights and smell of beer from my clothes from working in restaurants, and set foot into a career. Enter JKent. After being referred here from a friend, I was blown away by the following things: STAFF: Upon entering their offices (which are on the corner of 5th and Downing), I was greeted by a friendly face who told me how the typical process works in signing up with the agency. Fill out paperwork, enter various resume history into database, meet with a recruiter and wait for the opportunities to come in! After the first half was completed, I met with Karen - the Vice President. She was friendly, intelligent and is well versed in this industry. Karen asked me a few routine questions - career desires, job aspects, and salary before shaking my hand and saying she'd be in touch! COMMUNICATION: After about a week without hearing a word, I followed up with Karen, who promptly returned my email saying she had a potential opportunity for me. Karen and her colleagues constantly reached out to me throughout various job placements to ensure I was happy and offered insight on the job market and potential for growth. She was easily reachable and made the process seamless. She and her team continue to be this way - even know! JOB PLACEMENTS: Such a variety - based on your job history, salary expectations, location and duties! Because I solely wanted my foot in the door, I hopped on every opportunity that came my way - including a product tester! ha! Ultimately, I landed two great jobs, one of which I am still with today! Because the majority of job placements are temp-to-hire, I was able to see if the company was a "good fit" for me, as well as for them, which made for a better experience. EMPOWERMENT: JKent Staffing was started by a passionate woman, who continues uphold her core values to this day - and inspire other women! In joining the agency, I felt the recruiters and staff were so encouraging and helpful! As hard as finding the right job can be, Jkent made it easy and interesting!!

Working with this agency has helped me get a good idea of all the full-time opportunities available in the area and kept me busy with short-term contract work. OK... So when I first signed up my little one for modeling with Wendy at Marbles, I was skeptical…read more I asked her a lot of questions and grilled her about how the entire process works and made sure that she was a legitimate company. The office is in a great location in Greenwood Village, and everything is very nice and clean. Wendy is very professional and easy to work with. She has a very charismatic personality, you can see why she does so well working with children. You will not get calls every week. That's just the way the industry works in Colorado. You will receive an email from Wendy whenever there is an audition or casting call that even closely resembles your child and their age. Respond right away if you are interested. Keep in mind you may not always be chosen by the company working with Marbles. Another thing, you will need to regularly send in updated photos of your child, especially if they are under two years old. This is because change so frequently at this age. Your account will become inactive if you do not send in updated photos. Eye important if you are serious about getting auditions. Wendy is really good about responding to every phone call and email that you send... Literally within a few minutes you will get a response from her. My little girl did a photo shoot with Eddie Bauer a few months ago, thanks to a audition that was set up by Wendy. Just today, as I was shopping in Target, lo and behold I see my little girl on packaging for an Eddie Bauer shopping cart cover. She is also on the Target website and in all Target stores in the country. What a great memory for my daughter to have in her baby book! And of course bragging rights for this mama!

I was charged $100 to register and I haven't heard anything for a few months -- I will update this…read morereview if I do. I found out later that you should never pay a fee to sign with a modeling agency. Marbles does not give refunds. https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0071-look-out-modeling-scams I called Big Fish Talent to see if they charge a fee and they said for infants 0-11 they charge $75 because the kids are always changing it's more work to do the photo cards but they don't charge it up front, they charge when they get a gig which I think is more fair. Big Fish did sent out one email so far for infants gig. But if I had known this I would have waited til 1 year to sign her up so there was no out of pocket costs. One plus about Marbles is that Wendy will respond to your emails right away whereas Big Fish did not respond to my emailed photos until months later.
