Spent thousands of dollars to only be able to communicate by email (they "gift" you a 15 minute consult if you want it - like that would be enough time!!). Somehow they needed about 10 reps to handle my tax prep, payroll & quarterly taxes, meaning I had no idea who was actually in charge of my accounts or who was doing the work. I have had to constantly remind every rep to do their jobs throughout the year and they still fail to do anything in a timely manner, or at all. What a huge waste of money read more

Just awful. In my opinion, they seem to be running some weird scam there the "consult" is just an "introduction to the practice" and you cannot talk to them about your actual case until you are paying them. That's not a free consult sorry. Btw, they claim they are in Denver but their "office" address is a we work type place. AVOID. read more

I started with Dimov tax about last November. I had filed an extension but still time was running out. I also had a kind of a mess with the records from my small business. They got it figured out for me and got everything filed within the deadline. It was a big relief. I also find them very quick to respond to my occasional questions. Kevin P. read more

Incredibly disappointed in Dimov. I had paid for their services and tried to get in contact with them to set up a meeting and never heard back from anyone. When tax season came around it was still silence on their end accept for an email saying that it was tax season. Basically paid to sign up for an email news letter. read more

They had my tax information for 2.5 months. April 15th came and went. Whenever I contacted them, they said I would see a draft 'soon'. They finally committed to a draft within a week. I never saw anything. Two weeks later I finally demanded a refund, and I was refunded, but now it's mid May and I have to start all over with another CPA. read more

Dimov Tax has been a reliable CPA for me & my wife over the years. I am a 1099 independent contractor and they have done a great job with helping me through my tax situation. They offer many services to get you the help you might need. The emails I receive are always helpful for reminders & new information. I always feel like I'm getting the proper return with no worry. read more

Dimov Tax Services has been an incredible partner for me over the years. They always took the time to answer every question I had--no matter how detailed--and made sure I fully understood my options so I could make the most informed decisions. It's clear they genuinely care about their clients' best interests. My tax situation changed multiple times, and they consistently adapted without missing a beat. Every interaction felt personalized, thoughtful, and professional. I always walked away feeling confident that I was in good hands. Highly recommend Dimov Tax Services to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, responsive, and client-first tax team. read more

Our old tax preparer died right before filing our forms, so we had to quickly find someone else to do the work. Dimov stepped up and got it done quickly. They cost the same as our old prepare and did the job as well. We have used them for two tax seasons so far and are very happy with their work. read more

I selected Dimov Tax services because of their great reviews. I have been incredibly disappointed. I paid their service and never heard from anyone, I had to reach out to get the process started. I uploaded all the information requested to the accountant I was paired with, I have heard nothing. I emailed the administrative assistant yesterday and today to see when I should expect my return to be filed, I have heard nothing. Terrible experience so far. Many of my emails have been left unanswered. read more

I have been working with George Dimov and his colleague Anvar on my taxes since 2017. I originally found the Dimov practice because George was one of the few people that understood how crypto taxes worked at the time, and since then he and his team have continued to deliver tremendous value to me and my family. They helped me set up an S Corp and payroll, they helped me navigate moving my business from New York to Colorado, and they've helped us with LLC filings and taxes for an unrelated entity as well. They've helped us with tax filings across the country, including California, New York and Colorado. There has so far not been a single tax question that I've brought to them that they haven't been able to help me with. George has built a great team and I look forward to continuing to do business with them in the future! read more

They wanted to charge me $300 for an initial consultation. I've never come across someone asking me for money just to talk about their services. read more

Dimov tax provided a CPA letter required by my loan officer to get my bank statement loan approved. I you are self-employed and make good money, but your tax returns show you don't, a bank statement loan will allow you to purchase real estate. My local CPA refused to write this letter for reason I never understood. Dimov understood the level of urgency (we are at the end of week 2 of being in escrow) and provided the needed letter within me furnishing the documents to them within 2 business days. read more

They were so easy and straightforward to use. Service was fast and responsive and the way my return was presented made it very easy to understand. The pricing was very competitive, too. read more

4/29/25: I am updating my review from a couple of weeks ago. Dimov Tax contacted me and tried to repair the relationship, offering a listening ear and efforts to improve their service. One of their advisors and I had a call and discussed what went wrong. He apologized. He also provided additional service and guidance that were useful. It doesn't cancel out my prior experience, but it certainly helps, and I appreciate the effort the company made. 4/18/25: I had a negative experience with Dimov Tax. They seemed professional and responsive in the sales phase, then dropped off in quality and responsiveness precipitously from there. They pushed me for a payment upfront, then proceeded to stop responding when I submitted my materials and asked for confirmation of receipt for those materials. The final processing occurred when we were down to the wire, despite emails and calls requesting communication for weeks up until then. At times, I felt "Nickle-and-dimed" for services that have always been provided as part of my tax processing packages with other firms (I moved across states last year, so had to find a new tax firm, which led me to Dimov). Their fees were not cheap. I made two simple requests for items that had been provided as part of my tax package with other professionals, without additional charge (one accounting question so that I could provide an accurate P/L and one request for estimated quarterly amounts). For each one, they told me it would be a "separate engagement" and quoted me high, additional charges. read more

They advertise as a Denver tax firm, but they are 100% online tax filers. If you look at their reviews. The reviews were all around the country, not in Denver, Colorado. Their office address in Denver is a mailing/shared working space. That's why there's no walk-in. You have to pay upfront before they would look at your tax. They asked me to provide my social security number over email. A tax firm shouldn't be asking people to do this! I had to lock up my credits as a result of this incident to avoid identity thief. I do not recommend this business if you are looking for a local tax firm in Denver. read more

This is my first time not filing on my own, and the team did a great job! I'm amazed that any time I emailed them I usually got a reply asap (which is not necessary and I hope they have a good work-life balance. ) My taxes aren't extremely complicated, but they handled my stock sales and multiple income sources very well. For reference I paid about 900, and it was definitely worth it to me to not have to spend any time or mental energy on this for once. Will definitely return next year! Thank you all! read more

The Dimov Team has helped us through two complicated tax seasons. We have a variety of factors that make our tax situation more than just a simple Form 1040, but they are always attentive and ready to ensure that everything is done correctly. We used Dimov Tax Services for the first time this year. They were incredibly efficient, got back to us right away to answer any questions we had. And completed our taxes in a short amount of time. My husband and I were both very impressed. The price we paid them was very reasonable as well! read more

I waited a year to write this review, because I wanted to fully evaluate the results of the documents they provided at the beginning of the tax year. After filing my taxes the results are in, and they nailed it. The experience of getting the documents itself was a little rough, it felt like my needs were too small-scale and fell through the cracks a little. But the quality of the work speaks for itself, and the positive experience of everything coming in exactly as expected more than makes up for it. I will certainly request more services from them when I need it. The review dialog is telling me to talk about value, and I really can't. I don't know how much these kinds of services are supposed to cost, but I was charged $700 and that is a price I am happy to pay for the result. read more

Outstanding services from Dimov Tax Services. I needed to go back and have several years reviewed and a few amendments filed and the team here did an excellent job. Great to work with, explain in detail, very responsive and professional. Highly recommend!! read more

I decided to try out this group for the first time this year, after my sister and I became disappointed in the quality of work our previous CPA provided. I had them review my completed 2022 return, and they did indeed find some issues with the original return. Working with them was great, I had them both amend my 2022 and do my 2023 return. I went from owing thousands last year to getting thousands back this year! I do advise finding out who's handling your return and contacting them directly for fastest communication, working with their support in the middle can delay things, but all in all they know their stuff, they are thorough, and well worth the price! I'll be using them again next year, and I've recommended them to my family as well. read more

For the past several years, I was using another tax firm recommended to me by a friend. They often took weeks to get back to me between emails, provided vague and unhelpful answers, and never seemed to squeeze as many tax deductions out of our books as they should have. Dimov was the complete opposite--emails were answered within hours, maybe a day at the most, answers were concise and clear, and I got the largest tax refund to date so far. You won't regret working with them. read more

Dimove tax services has been great to work with. They are very thorough and know the tax laws in all 50 states. They helped me recover taxes from my 401k and also worked with me to get the most out of my return. I look forward to working with them again this year. read more

Turns out my email got lost in George's spam folder (busy tax season don't blame him). He reached out and personally ran through what it would take to do my taxes and reassured me they would do them expertly and efficiently: well that was true! Great email communication and one of George's associates, Clark, did such a great job. They made the process easy and the price was fair for all my filings and being later in tax season. Going to use them again next year when my taxes are even a little more complex! read more

My good experience was unfortunately limited to the first year where I needed extremely simple taxes with only a W-2 done as an introduction. I am a tech startup employee with ISOs and was looking for someone that could assist with my taxes once they became more complicated next year. Unfortunately they were not up to the task the following year. The team was unfamiliar with AMT and ISOs, and estimated taxes relating to both. I was given incorrect information that could have cost me a lot of money in their mistakes. I only found this out because I got conflicting information from two different employees. I wanted to understand which was right so I went to read the tax code myself. I now feel like I know more than them about AMT and ISOs at this point. George Dimov was friendly and apologetic for the mistakes throughout, and tried to take steps to correct the mistakes, but after a certain point enough was enough. My $0.02: if your taxes are simple, turbo tax is cheaper, if your taxes are complex, turbo tax is probably cheaper and more correct. Your time and money are better spent elsewhere. read more

Gave Dimov a last minute tax mess to clean up and they were fantastic. They got us an extension and completed the work efficiently. Communication was great and we got a nice refund. One thing to note is that they do not have a physical office or in person service. They are an online tax service provider which worked great for us. read more

I had a very bad experience with this firm. They charge you up front to have a consultation. Then I waited 20 minutes and no one shows up. Most of the emails, they never responded to. And mysteriously, when I posted bad reviews on Yelp and Google they disappear. read more

The team at Dimov is incredible. They are very thorough, detail oriented, and expeditious in processing tax documents and the like. The services provided by the Dimov team are well worth the investment, especially when compared to other CPAs and preparers at larger companies in the industry that have similar fees. The team's continuous communication and willingness to provide clarification and answer any questions honestly has been a tremendous help. Especially with some of my complex filings. If you're looking for a professional and reliable tax preparation service, I would highly recommend Dimov. read more
