Best part is I am now a more confident driver. Good school, and great instructors!

EVERYTHINGGGGGG (you all deserve to be defunded immediately )…read more I took this class back in the summer of 2023, and even though I wasn't able to schedule any times for the 6 hours of individual practice with the instructor, they still had me complete the class like it wouldn't be a problem. Long after it ended, they never reached back out to me about completing them after the fact, even though I already have more than the required 60 hours by the state. I went to schedule an appointment for my behind the wheel test, and they wouldn't allow me to take it because the school didn't send my credentials saying that I finished the class to the MVA. When I got in contact with them about sending it, they made it seem like they would be able to push it along towards the MVA regardless. However, earlier today they COMPLETELY REVERSED what they said just because I didn't complete the 6 hours. Mind you, I couldn't even go to schedule the practice after the class ended because the portal automatically closed out once it was over. If you want to go to driving school, and I mean this with the utmost sincerity, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ONE!

After that I took the road test and passed it in the first attempt. My experience with the driving instructor has been fantastic. Especially, considering the fact that I never drove a car before. Ms. Rani Nathan, my driving instructor taught me well the procedures of operating the car and driving in different conditions and prepared me well for the test. She is supportive, patient and has excellent knowledge about all MVA rules and policies which helped me take the test with confidence. The classroom sessions prepared me well for the challenge of driving on the road and the driving lessons got me up to speed so that I can now drive with more confidence. Also, the driving school conducts the Behind the Wheel sessions within a month of the 30 hr driver education program which helps to complete the program quickly. Begin New Driving School is very highly recommended!

Her patience and guidance with my daughter (first time behind the wheel) has been greatly appreciated. The two of them really connected in that collegial "girlfriends" kinda way so it was enjoyable and less stressful for all. The course consisted of three successive 2 hour lessons. The first Saturday was 1.5 hours riding around FedEx Field in an empty lot just to get comfortable behind the wheel. Thirty minutes were spent prior with overview/inspection of the vehicle, mirrors, general road rules, etc. Second Saturday. On the road. Two hours of mostly secondary roads throughout PG County. Third Saturday. More road work + Parking. Mission accomplished! Money well spent.
