Took advantage of their free trial to see how they perform as the reviews here aren't favorable, though most likely only angry people leave review. True to their name, the wash was quick. Most of the bug gunk on my windshield was removed and my red car shines. The negatives are that many bugs on my front plate remain, there's still some bird droppings on my hood, and the dirt on my wheels is now streaky. The touchless car washes I frequent in MN seem to do a better job than the many scrubbers in this wash. I will say that I was worried that the scrubbers would bend my front plate, but that didn't happen. UPDATE: The subscription I signed up for let me go through a second time, which is great! However, the bugs on my plate and bird droppings are still present. The bird droppings are not that noticeable, but there are still remnants. Not sure I'd be okay with $43 a month (highest tier package) for a service that isn't as comprehensive for a long road trip clean up. Local every day washes seem to be great tho.

Only I'm NOT 100% certain but I guess I'm going to have to bring a stop-watch should I EVER visit this buisness again.. Why up may ask? Because it's my opinion that their timer us a might fast... That and the "wax wand"? Yeah..its almost like there's a problem with the pumps .. Pressure comes up good for a couple seconds then drops where it barely comes out then back up and back down like a roller coaster. It took a total of almost 20 dollars to was my mini van.. Ok I can hear someone saying either AND?? or maybe,what's your point? Well my point is this it USUALLY takes only $10.00. So yah there's something deffinately not quite right with that car wash.

They always have done a great job. I have magnets on the back of my car that I forgot to take off this time. One of them came off and the staff went back and found it for me. I was grateful for that. Thanks to the wonderful workers at Sparkling Image. I'll be back on my next trip!

I went into Sparkling Image Carwash today, first time in a long time. As I watched other vehicles…read morego through, I noticed that the main part of the carwash was not working. Cars were getting soaped, but not sprayed with the washing jets, then getting rinsed. The rinse area was not getting the job done without the wash cycle working and cars were coming out with soap residue in them. When I mentioned it to one of the workers, he said "It's not my carwash, so I really don't care". The next person said that they were aware, that the carwash had been broken all day, then went back to smearing soap across my truck as he pretended to dry the truck. Nobody was there that cared. I had to go straight to Mister Carwash to wash off the soap. Sparkling Image is not the quality wash it used to be.

The equipment has always been in good working order. The chemicals make my car look great! Talk about a nice gloss. I tend to use the hand wand rather than going through the automatic wash. I get better results, particularly if there is any winter road grime. As far as price goes, that's the only reason I'm going to deduct a star. If money is tight, there is a dollar car wash facility nearby! By the same token, it's helpful that Blue Lagoon will let me slip my debit/credit card in and run a tab while washing.

....My broadcasting career started my final lap around the track at Iowa at KGAN in Cedar Rapids…read more I worked with Anne Ewald (formerly pickle) and the bike guy that told me to stop eating wangs....what is won wit you peeps... at the satellite in town and also up North with Dave Town(I was his sunshine:), Justin Roberts, Jetto mobile driver (sorry!), Tiffany O'Donnell (now mayor Tiffany O'Donnell whose farts smell like roses, eats honey bbq flavor twists, and does secret society waves to her kids:)) I was dating Mark at the time, but had Neff pick me up Princess style from class and drive me there & back and he loved to watch me pout about not getting to go to shoot at Cubs Opening Day...all the while having a crush on Andy Garman....who didn't:)...I guess I do Mai best work with cutay patooties:) From there I started grad school and I moved to camera operator, (I loved Dayside & smelling salsa and of course the food lady on Fridays!), I also shot opposite Andy Garman on Hawkeye football Saturdays and they ganked me back so hard when I didnt obey....Inwas still establishing my shot...chill From there it was a whirlwind but....attended the Illinois Broadcasters Association Conference where I sat with Les Grobstein because he knew me and probably liked I always put his name at the top of my resume:) I worked with Dan Burich and Dazxo at WQAd and the Zone Guy at KWQC....I was an editor and teleprompter operator as the BIG but did the Wild World of Sports and the Zone as Mai littles. I also did some work at WIFR in Rockford, IL and at AbC 7 News in Chicago. During Mai days I got ibtol working with kids with disabilities at Wheaton North HS( I wanted GBN but gon leave that dere), NWSRA in Rolling Ghettos and Kirk School in Palestine, IL and Blue Grass, Iowa.(biggie gurl) I had a short stint at the Muscatine Joiurnal and took break after I got married, yes married. In the meantime I worked at HON and talked about sex all day long with stinky and Joel and Chuckie cheese jus lubbed me and always had Mai back....I even used some post production skillz in my going away vid vid when we tp'd Joel's house:). Yup, I told on myself....mai style:) I was a preschool teacher in the WesT Lib and Sara Sara ~ we still freinds~loved that group because it was the 1st....I made up my curriculum and my favorites were Mexico where Aligned learning each day to something knew and capped it off with a plane ride to Mexico and had tacos for lunch! Then when our turn was up we saw it cost twice as much to run the shampoo machine vs the place we just left because we didn't care for their machine either. We started putting quarters in, but the display was so jacked up we couldn't even see what it was saying. Then, it turned on before we hit the $2 limit and started counting the time down (I presume, since the display was changing in every second. Still no clue what the heck it said). We hurried to put 2 bucks in, so we could start the shampoo part. It was only after we put about $2.50 in we realized the shampoo head was busted anyway, so we had like 5-6 minutes (estimates) or vacuum time that we didn't need. Now we have to go somewhere else to finish the job.
