Inexperienced "technician" came to my house and misdiagnosis was made before handing over $345 for adding 3lbs of r410A with additional unneeded tests recommended to fix the problem with the heat pump.
After tech leaves nothing changed except loosing $345.
Had to call them back after unit froze up again the next day.
So that time a few days later, a different guy came by request and performed a correct diagnosis but asked for another diagnostics fee with a quote for a return appointment and repair with parts needed to fix it. The quote was $526. See the problem here? That's a total of almost $900
to fix a simple issue that is very common.
I told the "technician" thanks but now I have to talk to my wife about it (I already knew what I was going to do at that point). The tech asked for another diagnostics fee and I declined saying we already paid for that.
