Tire changes, oil changes, heat shield repair, fuel pump replacement, exhaust system diagnostic and repair, 2nd opinions on estimates from dealerships and then doing the work better and at a better price, etc. My dealership gave me an estimate of $800 to fix what they "thought" was causing my SUV to rattle. Aces looked it over, found out the cause was something completely different and it cost me $120. Tony and his staff run a no BS shop. I trust Aces. We've been taking our family's cars there for years. We will continue. And if you want to b$&@h about Aces, try talking to the staff face-to-face and letting them know instead of hiding behind the internet. It usually works better, and it's more honest. read more

I have always taken my vehicles to Ace's and have always received excellent customer service (thanks Tony!) and very reliable repairs. They get the job done in good time and for a great price. This place is to be avoided at all costs!!! Brought my car in for a replacement water pump -----long story short----they blew my motor----the mechanic didn't install a $10 bolt ( cost to install the water pump was $1800) and as a result my motor blew!! Owner ( Tony) told me that he didn't have to replace said motor as he didn't think it was their fault???!!! But he eventually replaced it after many weeks of waiting and repeated visits-----when I picked it up there was very limited power because the mechanic (?) didn't set up the turbocharger properly---back in again for another lengthy visit. I asked for a replacement vehicle as a loaner until mine was fixed but that was refused. Owner was rude and totally unresponsive to my concerns------his son , on the other hand was reasonable and helpful. I've since had to get my CV boots fixed at a cost of $700 -----most likely caused by removal of the old engine-----and wiring redone at Ford at a further cost of $600----all after repairs at this place. Had to keep coming back with the same issues. Tony has his cranky kid fixing the vehicles. Kid is rude and they don't think they have to wear a mask. Told me they have to be safe from the customers.....They don't know what they're doing there. Took it to a friends mechanic the problem was solved. I'll try writing my review again since yelp didn't like my honest opinion about these clowns. Avoid these scum bags, they will rip you off. Crap parts at premium prices and cheap labour but will do half the job. You will have to return to get the job finished and pay the labour again. They claim when you find cheaper prices for parts it's because it's from China. Partsman was cheaper for my particular parts with lifetime warranty. This guy claims partsman has cheaper prices because it's China crap but his parts are premium, that's why his prices are higher for parts. The word is getting around that this guy rips everyone off, so STAY AWAY!!!! read more

Same as a previous review. Brought in my car for a safety which it failed. Gave verbal quote of $1200 to repair to get passed. They said I needed new brakes and rotors ( I had them done 4 months ago). Went down the street and was repaired and safetied for under $200. read more

Terrible place. Charges 49.95 per hour but takes 2x as long so you are paying 100/ hr anyway. They cant get a job done in a timely fashion. Always an excuse. Myself and 4 people I know have all had broken items and things Not properly fixed. This place is a joke. The owner will be nice to you when you come in, but if you question anything he threatens you and is an asshole. If you go here, you deserve whats coming to you. read more

The owner is a scam artist who charges for parts he doesn't replace and after bringing my car back 4 times to fix the faults they caused after their repair job , Tony the owner told me to sue them & get a good lawyer. I regret my mistake and paid dearly for it ... I'm hear you warn people about this mechanic shop. They use their $50 /hr rate to pull you in but it's not actually $50hr rate. They will change you a flat rate like any other mechanic and if gotten better prices elsewhere. The owner will tell you to get his parts also every and Any parts you decide to get yourself it's crappy China made parts. Friday I was told there was 5 bolts studs broken off my Ford F-150 after the everything was pulled, and later I decided to call back again to see how things are going, they told me there is 6 instead of 5 and it's $75 per broken stud. They will be that after I told them I want to buy my own parts and the owner got defensive and tel me he would charge me extra if he struggles to put it on. There is so much more I want to say but long story short do yourself a favor and don't support this business if you're not trying to get ripped off. And this is a very honest review read more

Stay far away from this place!!!!!! I came in to get the lock fixed on my drivers door in my Pontiac g5. I got a call saying they couldn't fix it, which is fine and I came to pick it up. What they didn't mention is that they snapped the trim on the door in half and blamed it on me when I called them out on it. I paid $115 for them to break my trim, they didn't fix anything. Then he tried to sell me a rusted out door for $100 cash that wasn't even the same colour. I wrote a Facebook review about my experience and the owner, Tony, proceeded to call and threaten me to take my review down or he'd come find me because he had my address from the bill. These guys are scum bags and I wouldn't recommended this place to anybody. I wouldn't bring my winter beater here again, let alone my racecar or anything with any value. They Left so many things under my hood unhooked to come back, if I had got a puddle my vehicle would've been totaled! They charged me $3000 nothing was fixed and for free another mechanic recognized the problem it was a ten dollar fixed then they mentioned everything was also unhooked! read more

I posted here before and magically it was removed, so yelp really is a less then credible review platform. I brought my vehicle in to Ace's to replace the rusted steel brake lines with non-rusting nickel lines as discussed with Tony and paid the extra charge to order the nickel lines. When the job was complete I picked up my vehicle and saw that the lines were steel, I stated to Tony that they were steel when I directly stated nickel and that he and I had discussed this and I had agreed to pay extra to order the lines from the parts supplier. Tony denied up and down they were steel and they had ordered the nickel lines from the parts supplier specifically for my job. Well, a year later and they are rusting out. All for this clown to make an extra $40 (I kept and still have the bill as I knew he was lying about the lines) he loses a customer for life and gets my review of my experience here to anyone who is asking about automotive repairs. It's too bad they decided to make an extra $40 and now receive fitting reviews. read more

Went to Ace Automotive for an oil change, when I checked my oil two days later oil was as black as when I took it in. When I went back to complain the owner was very ignorant and threatened me with legal action if I pursued the matter. He would not even go out to look at the truck just said he didn't believe me. read more

I walked in and Tony the owner greeted me, he is very professional , and knows his stuff, the waiting room is Clean, cozy and quiet, the mechanics came inside to talk to Tony in his office , they were also all professional , I liked they all wore the Ace's uniform T-shirt, my truck runs like its brand new.
