Thee OG staff I do miss. There's two Drs and 1 remaining assistant that I cannot recommend enough. Firstly, D.O Daniel W Lane literally saved my life. I've been his patient for many years prior to him working here at this location. I've had a lot going on in my life over the last decade and he's been with me every step of the way. He's so passionate about what he does and helping people. He genuinely and wholeheartedly cares about people in general but especially us (his patients). He's so dedicated and committed to helping me in my mental health journey as well as my entire health. He's very intelligent, knowledgeable not only in his field (psychiatry) but medicine, and general medical practice. He's well seasoned. Thorough. Understanding. He's amazing at listening. He makes it a priority to really know you, how you think, your life. He never makes decisions without consent or my opinion. It's really a team effort type of treatment. He always wants to make sure i feel comfortable and safe. There's very few people in this world that I trust and he's 1 of them. When I'm feeling really depressed, spiraling, if something major happens or need to give any updates or just need support he's always there. I can go on and on about how awesome he is, how he's beyond an amazing Dr, how he sets an example of how Drs should really be and how we as patients should be treated, how he holds himself accountable and sets high standards for himself. Dr. Lane can never ever be replaced. He is a rare type. I'm so blessed to be a patient of his. He himself is a blessing. I appreciate him and hope he knows how thankful I truly am. Now, Verenice Dr. Lanes right hand "man" woman. Not only are they the Best combo working together, they complement each other but they share the same qualities and values. She really cares about my ( our us patients) wellbeing but she really loves helping others. I've relied on her countless times more like all the time. I can call her, leave her a message, an email and she always responds, she always shows up no matter what. She follows through. I'm beyond confident in her. The amount of support, the emergency sessions she's booked for me, the phone calls where I've cried on the phone, the endless amount of kindness and compassion and empathy she's shown. She also gives so much of herself. I'm so lucky to have her in my corner. I appreciate her as well. I honestly can't give her and Dr. Lane enough credit. Not only do I recommend on her, on any website, but to everyone in need of help. If you are lucky enough to be treated by Dr. Lane you will never ever want another Dr and will always compare every specialist and staff to him and Verenice. And for the Grand finale Amy Herter :) has been my therapist, my go to, my sounding board, my unconditional daily support system. I see her multiple times per week for years. Dr. Lane actually referred me to her for CBT and I'm so thankful for that because I couldn't have made it through, I couldn't have progressed thus far, I couldn't be a better person without her. She's non-biased and genteelly tells it how it is when needed. She kindly encourages me in my daily life taking in consideration all my health problems, my chaotic family and life problems. She celebrates all my small and big wins and talks me through life's challenges and disappointments. She has and continues to just sit with me even in silence so I can breakdown, ramble just so that I don't feel alone and feel safe to be so vulnerable with her. I never feel judged by her. I trust her so much. I'm comfortable with her. No matter what time or day I know I can always call her or text if I need her support. She offers so much. She's so friendly, she's funny, totally down to earth, she's brilliant. She's experienced in so many categories and life itself. She's very loyal. Very honest. Amy embodies all the amazing qualities as one would want in a friend by really setting thee perfect example. She helps me to realize how important I am in life and how deserving I am. Being on medi-cal and finding functional medicine doctor has been life changing. Yes he takes other insurance. He gives me his time,knowledge and I have seen tremendous results seeing him. When I first found him after my first appointment the front office went a whole year without answering my phone calls or calling me back. Told it was a phone system issue. Now i finally got through this year and been back with him, the trouble still stands of reaching the office sometimes I have to call eight times a day before they finally answer or not; they never return a voicenail and my prescriptions are never filled when leaving my appointment. I've never had an issue calling my doctor to have my prescriptions refilled anywhere else and the front staff always blames the doctor, I'm not a complainer but they make me feel like I am a bother. This medication is important to my well-being. I feel like their front staff lacks compassion it's one thing that you're not greeted when you come in it's another to be put aside like it's not a priority when it comes to our health. They started doing blood draws and I told them I dont do well and they said I just need to not be anxious and when I started sweating and feeling dizzy they just sent me on my way I had to ask to sit in lobby which was so embarrassing for people to watch me while I try to pull myself together. I just go to quest where they lay me down and have ZERO issues with the blood draw. I have my next blood test in 2 weeks (3 months apart from previous) and have been without my prescriptions for a month. I am extremely grateful for dr lamberty but wish this cycle of having meds then being fully without them would cease and my care could run smoothly without worrying about trying to reach them. Last time I had to make another appt to see him just to get the refills this time I couldn't get an appointment before my follow up date appt already set. It is just irritating but worth it because the doctor is fantastic and the other doctors I have seen had very concerning treatment suggestions.

Patients who come with urgent needs are told " we will make you a appointment tomorrow" your insurance won't pay for a urgent care visit you need to book a regular appointment. patently untrue. Medicare pays the same for urgent care appointment as they do a regular appointment so This is about profits not care. When I did see a PA for the wound that should have been dressed by a urgent care they called the fire department and a ambulance! What a waste of county resources! I was transferred to a local er that was on lock down. I sat in that hospital ER for 16 hours overnight! When The ER physician was finally free to help me hours later, he said I do not understand why your doctors urgent care could not address this simple injury. They should have dressed it with a topical antibiotic cream. I wholeheartedly agree. When I tried to talk to the to the office manager the next day, I was unheard and treated disrespectfully. Then she sent a certified letter to me a few weeks later terminating the Dr patient relationship with a CC to their attorney! Can we say passive - agressive implied threat? How completley silly and a unprofessional Hippa violation! One more sketchy note: they sell in office Iv treatments that are bagged like a convenience store sale item. While some of them may help for jet lag , flu and hangovers I take exception to the one called the "Myers cocktail" They imply in their literature and web site that it can help a wide list of diseases including dementia , Alzheimer's,... need I say more? Ok... my mother is dying right now from this horrible disease I know ALOT about it. I did mention to the office manager that It felt a bit scammy and wrong to imply that a vitamin Iv would help Alzheimer's. 99% of neurologists will tell you that a cocktail iv might offer a small vitamin boost. It will not help or slow down the diseases listed in the advertising for this Myers Cocktail. The two offices in this practice are not wheelchair accessible, based on my experience I feel the staff lacks ada, cultural and mental health competence.

I was trying to schedule a family therapy session with my husband and mother, and it took weeks of repeated calls and emails to even get someone on the phone to schedule an initial intake session. Once I was finally able to reach someone, my husband, mother, and myself coordinated our busy schedules and scheduled an intake with Dr. Mack via the group's intake coordinator. We showed up the next day for our virtual session, each from different locales, and then waited. And waited. No one ever came on and no one called us. I called the practice after about 15 minutes to see if something had happened, or perhaps I had gotten the time wrong, and I reached a receptionist or intake coordinator, who said they would try her and get back to me. We waited another 20 min and then I called again and was told, "I haven't reached her. All I can do is call and leave her messages." No attempt was made to reschedule us or to discuss next steps. We finally all signed off in disappointment. No one has made any contact with us since then to explain what happened that day or to attempt to reschedule the appointment. This happened a week ago, so there's been ample time to make contact since then. As a clinician myself, I would never allow this to happen and not follow up in some way, especially with a new client who I hadn't developed a relationship with yet. We will NOT be trying to reschedule and I certainly will not be recommending this practice to anyone else.

This is long but worth the read. I've been a patient for over 2 years…read more The receptionist informed me I needed to pay my outstanding balance and office visit copay before seeing the doctor. I had no problem paying the required amount. At this point, the situation took an unexpected turn. When asked if I required a receipt, I indicated that I did, as I always request one due to using my FSA debit card. Upon receiving the receipt, I noticed it only reflected my total amount due and the copay. I subsequently approached the receptionist to request a detailed itemization of my payment. I was informed that it was not possible to provide a receipt for the copay. This response surprised me, as I have not previously encountered a medical office unable to provide the requested documentation for charges. I explained that my FSA administrator requires a detailed receipt outlining each charge for verification purposes. Again, I was told that she couldn't do it. All the while, she was rude and made me feel as though I was bothering her for asking. Then she brings another person into our conversation. She was just as condescending. I explained to her as well, the importance of my needing a detailed receipt and why. I went into further detail, stating to her that if I don't have a detailed receipt of charges, FSA will shut down my card and not allow me to use it for any other doctor appointments nor will I be able to pay for my prescriptions. Both basically ignored my request and I was told, "well hopefully they won't ask and if they do, that will give us time to generate a receipt or you." When I entered room 2 to speak with the doctor, I told the young woman who took my blood pressure that I was very upset--she had likely seen what happened at the front desk. I explained that I needed a receipt for the copay and the reason why. She spoke with her manager and, within two minutes, returned with a separate receipt showing my copay. That was all I wanted, yet the front desk had refused to provide one. Your front desk staff really needs customer service training. Obviously, what I asked for was doable. They just didn't want to do it or take the time to ask someone how. They didn't empathize with me AT ALL when I told them why I needed the receipt and the inconvenience it would cause me if I didn't have it.
