My company chose Ace, there was an issue with my move and they cancelled the move right then. We came to an agreement and when they came out again, they not only ignored the agreement, but then cancelled on me again. I will never use them and never recommend them. read more

I have had a few moves in the past few years and Ace Worldwide has been by far the best. They were responsive and accommodating from the moment I reached out to them. Customer service was friendly and communicative. The movers were punctual, careful, respectful, and efficient. We had a few stops to make and they really shined when we unexpectedly at some boxes that were not packed well. They secured everything and stayed within the projected estimate. Do not use these movers. I did extensive research into relocating our daughter from Missouri to Wisconsin since we could not help her due to COVID19. Jared Lemcke was the salesperson - initially responded right away with a quote that was within our range. I emailed him 3 times over the next 4 days and NO response. Tried to call the cell phone number listed and it said unable to leave a message. I guess I'm glad it didn't work out. Paying a couple hundred more with another company and the communication couldn't be better. read more

I did not realize when I hired Atlas van lines, I was hiring Ace. I received a quote for my items to be shipped from Kingman Arizona to Temple Texas. They estimated the weight at 6500 pounds based on photos as they would/could not send a rep to do an in person estimate. I asked if they were certain there would be no surprises, and Jared, my salesperson, stated he was confident with his estimate, and the cost was to be around $5 grand. The driver showed up( which is another story) and said "whoa, this is a heavy load". I explained the estimate was for 6500 pounds and he shook his head in disbelief and muttered something about knowing who I must have been dealing with in sales. He took my stuff to the scales and the weight was over 14 thousand pounds. MORE THAN DOUBLE WHAT THEY ESTIMATED. Now I am forced to pay $12 grand for my delivery, and the idiots at Ace are not willing to admit their wrongdoing! They did not apologize for their gross mistake! They actually BLAMED ME for signing a non binding contract. read more

If you want to get robbed, and pay someone to do it then they are for you! My company hired them to relocate us to Appleton.... They came did the estimate- we heard nothing. I called the week before our move and was told "Yeah someone will call you but they should be there between 9-10am." Great, okay. To get us and our children situated we packed up and moved over 50% of our house so I could work from Appleton and they could be in Milwaukee. They arrived and were hired to pack my house, garage and move our storage unit. They started packing and my significant other was in the house while I was at work. They didn't bring enough boxes, so he was told we would need to move the rest. Ok, we can do that. They were hired to move our Harley- they told us they would strap it to the wall of the semi trailer and we weren't comfortable for that. So it was left. The next day they delivered everything to me in Appleton. They moved fast put stuff where I asked. As we unpacked and got settled we realized most of our electronics were taken, my Pandora bracelets were missing, ammunition, a pellet gun, our antiques were broken, brand new UGGs, Kate Spade shoes and my Louis Vuitton purse was stolen. I filed a claim and was told I would get 0.60 cents per POUND of what was stolen....... So the sum of over 6500.00 in cameras valuables and broken antiques would be pennies per pound....... How ridiculous! We not only have lost physical items but all of our pictures/video from the birth of son, our trip to Ireland, Mexico etc are gone. I would rather have my memory cards back then anything else. But I was told I signed on the estimate to only be reimbursed pennies on the pound..... Well good thing I was actually told about that because I WAS NOT- I would suggest any other moving company- However if you want to be robbed, lied to, and upset about everything your missing then these are the people for you.... needless to say now an attorney will be involved. UGH! If only I'd known Ace Worldwide would be the contracted mover for Atlas when I booked my father's move from Las Vegas to my home in MSP, I could have read the previous reviews. SO SORRY I DID NOT. The other reviewers have left enough detailed information, so I'll simply say, "DITTO!" I wouldn't care if the move was FREE at this point, I still would not recommend this company. I am writing to warn potential customers of the incredibly unprofessional service I received with Ace World Wide Moving and Storage. First, I was given a quote of roughly $13,000 to move our goods from Wisconsin to Oregon. We got three bids and this was the lowest, the others being in the $16,000 range. John the Ace representative who came to my house and looked at ALL of my possessions, told me he was giving me a discount because I worked at an organization with which Ace had a business arrangement. I thought this was the reason for the difference in price. After taking possession of my goods in mid May 2018 I was informed the cost would be over $18,000. I spoke with Wade (unknown last name) the supervisor of the business. He told me we would work something out and asked I give him some time as our goods were being stored by Ace and were not set to be delivered until August. A month or so later I called back and spoke with Wade again who again said he would work with me. I received no communication until it was time to have our goods shipped on August 1. Now, Wade refused to take my calls, front desk staff would tell me he was in and after being on hold for lengthy periods of time I would be informed that he was in-fact not in and I could leave a message. I left messages and these were never returned. No change in the price was made and after initially stating verbally and contractually that I could pay with a card on delivery, Wade had informed the staff not to release my goods from their warehouse until payment was received in full. I had no choice but to pay the full $18,000, which is $5000 (~40%) more than I was quoted. Second, We were told that after we called to release our goods they would be delivered within 4-14 days. They were, in fact, not delivered for 39 days. They said they could not find a driver to transport the goods, despite being a large moving company marketing itself as providing "Elite" worldwide relocation. We lived in an empty house during these 5-6 weeks. Third, several of our items were damaged. There was mold inside a few boxes and some metallic items including an elliptical machine. On the day of delivery we were not given an opportunity to inspect each box/item but were forced to sign a document acknowledging receipt of all the inventoried items. I signed the documents with "TBD" for "to be determined" at the recommendation of the driver in charge of the crew who unloaded the truck. I was under the impression this reflected an admission by the company of the fact that there was not time to inspect everything that day. When we filed a claim for the damaged goods, ACE refused to pay saying we did not report the damage on delivery. We asked to speak with a supervisor and, as before, no messages were returned. This is the worst experience I have had interacting with any company. I advise you to steer for clear of them. They are dishonest and do not conduct business with even a modicum of ethical behavior. read more

We hired Ace and thought we hired a local company with national company strength and resources from Atlas. We could not have been more wrong. I was told that our goods would not leave the truck once we were loaded and that delivery would take place in 5-10 days. We found out that they contracted the work out and that our things were moved 3+ times before we received a partial shipment. Water had gotten into the truck and ruined our king mattress, couch and other boxes. The customer service following all of this has been very poor and we are waiting for our damage claims to be processed 7 weeks later! The rest of our things did not arrive until 29 days after pickup. Do not hire this company! You will be terribly dissapointed. read more

The business is run on "lets wing it" mentality. Gambling with the safety of client's items or product. High paid management that lacks quality output, lowly paid material handlers performing ball busting work. Many of the workers are questionable upon their legal status. Employees play hot potato with clients' emails. Lacks ethics, quality of service and overall lacking performance in their process. If you are considering using this company for your storage and moving needs, ask yourself; do you want lowly paid workers using shoddy equipment to handle your investments in overly crammed spaces? Often the company was unprepared for incoming items from clients. Their mentality was to get the deal signed, get the money and then stuff the client's items wherever they could cram for space, often lacking proper tools to handle the items. Yes, it's one of those businesses. Give us money and we will figure it out on an apathetic thought. Don't be surprised if your items get filthy dirty or damaged. read more

***Do NOT recommend. PLEASE READ*** 1. Was told a week out that I couldn't get pack/load on one of two days I wanted. Then when I said I would use another company which said it could (Federal Cos.) I immediately received an email 30 mins later saying yes they could accommodate me. Why was this a problem 30 mins earlier? 2. The day before the pack/load, I get a call from the driver saying he could come a day earlier (in fact it was the next day) to then deliver in two days. I say sure. The next day, packers come, everything loaded. Half hour later the coordinator calls, saying it won't be delivered in two days. I say, but the driver called me and told me he was. She said, he was pulled off of the job. And your paperworks stipulates these were the days we agreed on. I tell her, that THE DRIVER THAT WORKS FOR YOUR COMPANY CALLED ME AND RESCHEDULED. WHY DID I NOT GET NOTICE FROM ANYONE ABOUT THIS? WHY didn't the driver give me notice? WHY am I finding out now? No apology from the coordinator. None. In fact she was incredibly cold about this. I was incredulous. Awful customer service and communication. 3. I asked the coordinator who I could report this to. She said I should report it to her. REALLY? 4. After sending a note the another person at the company who did the estimate. He promised to call me. And then didn't. I emailed reminding him. He didn't reply. Finally got on the phone with him. He said he was sorry, had ZERO explanation (or perhaps it was "these things happen", and the little he could do would be to send me a gift card. GUESS what? No gift card. Save yourself the hassle. Do not deal with this company. I told them I would write this report on Yelp. Everything here is factual. 100%. I'm sure I'll get some sort of form response from Wade B the owner (see first review). They showed up late with the wrong sized truck.Then, they shattered a $700 lamp and offered $6 repayment. They also damaged my couch and several boxes had broken items (e.g., dishes) inside when I unpacked them. They don't take care with your items and their service is sub-par. read more

In April of this year, I began looking into job opportunities in the Sacramento, CA area. As part of this process, I interviewed and received quotes from three nation-wide moving companies. The company I decided to use was Ace World Wide in Cudahy, WI. The sales representative I dealt with, John Donovan, gave me the original non-binding quote for $3,506.24. Mr. Donovan revised the quote down to $2,938.24 based on the elimination of five rather large pieces of furniture from the original quote. Only after my household belongings were in transit to California was I informed that Mr. Donovan's quote was severely inaccurate. Ultimately, I paid Ace World Wide $4,067.03 - a difference of $1,128.79. During a phone conversation with Mr. Donovan, I asked him how he could have missed my quote by so much. His reply was simply "I don't know". I highly recommend that anyone considering using a moving company only accept binding quotes. Against my better judgment, I chose this company's non-binding quote based on Mr. Donovan's assurance that his quote would be accurate based on his twenty-six years in the moving business. read more
