I spoke with several companies, but Leo stood out right away. He took the time to answer all my questions and explain everything clearly. I got a really good vibe and sincere energy from him, which meant a lot since I'm dealing with a serious health condition and needed to feel confident this was handled properly. Leo did both pre- and post-remediation testing through a third-party lab, and the results speak for themselves: Aspergillus/Penicillium went from "900" before to "0" after! They removed the affected areas, cleaned everything thoroughly, and fogged the entire space. As soon as it was done, my kitchen smelled completely clean -- no more mold at all! Leo was very thorough, knowledgeable, and made sure the job was done right. I'm really grateful and would definitely recommend All American Mold!

Honestly, I was shocked at this business practice because I asked for a quote first insinuating I was ready to pay on top of all that Leo was very transparent about the process, what was important for our health and if there was work to be done outside of his scope, he gave me the opportunity to source my own companies, but offered his as an option. Great company great business model.

The company also offers general construction services, and Frank offered a bid to patch an exterior stucco wall that our plumber had to get into. And then they created a containment center in both affected areas that had CDC energy! It immediately gave me confidence that they were going to take the job seriously and I was in good hands. At one point, I realized the downstairs carpet padding hadn't been removed (after they had already left for the week on a Friday), and I assumed I'd be stuck waiting until Monday. Instead, they turned around and came back within minutes to fix it. That kind of customer service is not something I experience often. Their quote was definitely higher than the other company I got an estimate from, but I felt like they were the ones who were going to do it right and not cut corners. I feel good knowing I won't have to worry about hidden moisture or mold down the line. Huge shout-out to Danny, who gave me the estimate and led the job, super professional and clearly knows his stuff. And Daniel, who felt like his right-hand guy, was incredibly respectful and kind. Honestly the whole team was great. I rarely walk away from vendors feeling this satisfied, but they really lived up to their name. Highly recommend.

After multiple issues for a bathroom restoration, I gave so much grace to this team but now, not even a year after the work, I am being asked to pay $500 in order to replace a shower head due to this team placing a galvanized steel pipe into my shower and spray painted it instead of a set finish. The shower head clogged and will not get any water out of it. Everyday, "this crew" was two guys that never wanted to work and often left early. Nothing was done appropriately and I am still paying the price. A yea later. I am still fixing their mistakes and neither owner or manager of this site will give me a call back of have the decency to reply to my text messages.

    Buyer Beware -- ServPro of Palos Verdes…read more I honestly wish I could give ServPro of Palos Verdes zero stars after the awful experience I had with them following a water damage incident in my home. One big problem was their poor oversight. The machines were left running much longer than they should've been because no one was regularly checking on them -- adding additional charges and delaying resolution. On top of that, I repeatedly asked to speak with a tech manager to get a clear understanding of what was going on, but I was ignored and kept in the dark instead. So frustrating. It's one thing for a company to maximize its billing when it thinks the insurance might pay, but I kept stating -- repeatedly -- that AAA hadn't yet decided whether it would cover the claim. I wanted to be kept in the loop and approve any additional work. Instead, I was disregarded, and now I'm left with a huge, unexpected bill. Lastly, while their team was in my attic, someone stepped on a high hat, damaging my ceiling. Jonathan, one of ServPro's own techs, openly admitted that their team was responsible -- but instead of owning up to their mistake, the women running their office (especially Alyssia Castro) avoided my calls and tried to be dishonest about what happened. Alyssia even sent me a picture taken after their team was already in the attic and tried to claim it proved the damage was there beforehand. When I asked for a picture with a timestamp (since iPhones do this automatically) to show it was taken before their team's visit instead of after, none was ever provided -- because there isn't one. This kind of dishonesty shows a dramatic lack of integrity. Consider this a warning to prospective customers: ServPro of Palos Verdes cannot be trusted to be communicative, responsible, or truthful when something goes wrong. Do not let their promises fool you -- you may be left with additional damage, a huge bill, and a mess to clean up yourself.

I gave them three jeans for adjusting the length and they messed up the brand new jeans. I told them that some places didn't do a good job so I specifically told to make sure the jeans doesn't stick out after the alternation. They agreed to it and did exactly the opposite. I have attached the picture for reference. Instead of taking the accountability the owner of the store tried to gaslight saying that they jeans might came crocked and they didn't mess it up. He even asked me to return the jeans to get my money back for the jeans but who will refund the money that I paid them even though they messed it up?? For someone who has a business like dry cleaners and asking to return the customer jeans for refund instead of fixing the mess up is extremely awful. Edit: Updating the review with a response from the business owner. I had multiple discussion with the owner regarding this mess up at the store. He has been repeating the same story again and again. He seems to miss the point that it was communicated before handing over the jeans that it should not stick out after the alternation which he seems to have chose to ignore. A general statement of "Your jeans do not have the same taper all the way down" is not acceptable considering the mess up is with three jeans and also I don't have any problem with how it looks on the left side. I have a problem with just the right. You cannot say that all three jeans have issue with the taper on the right side. Also, he suggested to get them tapered but with a reduced width which makes the jeans tight to wear and he forgets to mention in his response that he stated that jeans might still stick out even after the taper as well. Fact is your tailor did placed the jeans side ways while sewing under the machine. I don't mind giving another chance as long as you guys can promise that the jeans won't stick out like that after the taper.
