I placed My order for 3 items on November 6. It is November 28 and I still have not received my box. Order was placed on November 6, confirmation received on November 18 advising my package is ready to be mailed and I still have not received the package. I live less than four hours away from the ranch, not sure why it's taking this long to receive one box of merchandise. If it wasn't available I should've received an email saying that when I ordered it advising what I ordered was not available and not that it's been sitting in Escondido ready for shipping since the 18th. It will be interesting to see how my avocados look when they arrive if they've been sitting somewhere for 10 days. read more

Avocados from ACE are the best. I purchase mine from the Studio City farmer's market but I know they have booths at many markets and have delivery options. The avocados are so good, and perfect almost every time. Which for produce is quite impressive. Evan, who works the stand in Studio City is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I can tell him I want an avocado that will be ready in 3 days, and if they have it he finds it for me. He is also very kind and asks about my week and my races. You can't beat the customer service. Worst experience ever with Ace Ranch ( http://aceranch.org) - they are selling avocado, lemon, limes, orange and grapefruit. They are selling their produce in farmer markets in Los Angeles area (Studio City, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Larchmont Village, Calabasas, Burbank and Hollywood). I have been shopping in Hollywood Farmers Market for years, I only support the local farmers but I was in shock the experience I had with the owner of Ace Ranch Ehsan Afaghi. On his site ( http://aceranch.org/ACE_Ranch.html ) he is asking to support the local farmers where he doesn't care about his supporters at all. He is the rudest farmer/person, I have ever encounter: He has a sign " DON'T TOUCH" on his produce (mainly on avocado) - this girl touched a few avocados and he literally hit her hand by telling her - do not touch anything - this poor little girl was absolutely in shock, she was very scared and left immediately without purchasing anything. Next - unfortunately it was my turn to be attacked by this violent guy/seller (owner Ehsan Afaghi) where I asked him for a ripe avocado - he refused to sell them to me and his reply was " don't you ever come back" - wow, I was in shock - who does that ??? My fellow yelpers, and shoppers in local farmer markets in Los Angeles area - please be aware and don't support Ace Ranch, there are many other local farmers who deserve your business and appreciate it greatly. I never thought I would write a review about a local farm (Ace Ranch - Escondido, CA 92026), but this guy (owner) is in many local farmer markets - I'm really scared of this guy after I saw how he treated this little girl. These are the best avocados I ever had and I'm not saying this lightly! I love how creamy they are. I also love how long they last when I refrigerated them. I've never had any other avocados keep well as these did. Long lasting and perfectly green on the inside. I also love the dried kiwi and almonds! So very delicious. Since March 2020 we have ordered 4 times from ACE avacados. Shipped to Boston and they have always arrived 100% great shape. Way better than any we can get here in Boston and I'm always amazed at how quickly they arrive. Not sure what the bad reviews are about, maybe the post office is causing the damage? Anyway, they last for at least 2 weeks after arrival. I don't write many reviews, but had to give a 2 thumbs up to this fantastic way to get excellent quality organic avacados. we love this company. read more

Since my last review, the ranch kindly reached out and sent me another shipment of avocados. This shipment was well packaged, and the avocados were just shy of being ripe (took a couple days to get there which was perfect). They were very tasty despite it being late November! They were on the small side but I think that is to be expected given the season. Additionally we received packaged almonds -- those were actually my favorite thing we got! They were the best almonds I have EVER TASTED. They were soaked in lemon and just absolutely delicious. I will definitely be buying from them again! read more

I've been buying ACE Ranch avocados at the Studio City farmers market for close to 6 years now, and every week I look forward to not only their out-of-this-world produce, but to catching up with Evan, the owner, and his employee, Ameen. Although, I think Ameen is working at a different Sunday market now. This past Sunday I was in Pacific Palisades with a friend and decided to check out the market there, and was excited to find that ACE Ranch had a booth there, as well! As far as the avocados go, they're by far the best I've ever had. When my family and friends visit from out of town, I always make a point to send them home with as many as they're willing to take! No one has ever been disappointed. In addition to the wonderful produce, the customer service is incredible. The booth is recognizable at any market and looks like something out of a magazine (see picture, from Pacific Palisades) and Evan always remembers my name and asks how my week has been. I always enjoy hearing the latest stories about his adorable son, who also visits the market with his mom quite often! And the sweet girl who works for him at the Pacific Palisades market is just as friendly, and was excited to hear that I am a Studio City regular. I'm disappointed to read some of these other reviews, as I've never had a negative experience with ACE Ranch. I'm not sure who Christina or Ehsan are, but they certainly arent representative of what I've experienced with ACE Ranch. read more

I have been to the ACE Ranch booths in Brentwood and Studio City and love their avocados. I'm vegetarian and eat a ton of avocados and these are some of the best I've had! The employees have always been super friendly and helpful- I think the guy that works at Studio City is actually the owner. I recently tried the Ace Ranch Organic Avocados at a local Farmer's Market and found the flavor to be quite intense and the flesh is very creamy, perfect for guacamole and for other uses such as on burritos, tacos and salads. The Avocados were all perfect and had none of the bruises and brown areas that you see on other avocados. Highly recommended. In addition, I tried some of their bags of nuts such as Cashews, Almonds and flavored Pistachios. They were all very tasty and fresh.
