When my dad's 30-year-old wallet finally gave out, I searched everywhere for a replacement but…read morewallets like my dad's just don't seem to be made anymore. While searching online for a solution, I got lucky and discovered Mingus Leather Studio, LLC. I reached out to Doug Mingus, explained the unique style my dad preferred, and without hesitation, he offered to recreate it. What he delivered was absolute perfection -- soft, high-quality leather and flawless craftsmanship. Even weeks later, my dad was still impressed. When he had trouble removing cards from the slots, I contacted Mr. Mingus again, unsure if anything could be done. He responded immediately and happily made the adjustment. That kind of customer service is rare. On top of all that, the pricing was incredibly fair and reasonable, especially for a custom piece made with such care and quality. Doug was fantastic to work with from start to finish. If you're looking for custom leatherwork that's both beautiful and built to last, I highly recommend Mingus Leather Studio, LLC!

I had been looking for the 'perfect for me' bag for over a year and really wanted to support small business. I walked into his shop after work one day and showed him a photo of one I had found online. He had some similar but not close enough to what I was looking for. He told me he'd check with his sources and get back to me. Within a week, he messaged me with pics of exactly what I was looking for. I had a lot of questions about where it was made, how it was made, etc and he happily and timely answered all of them. He even ordered a couple in so I could 'see' it before I purchased it. After seeing one of the bags in person it was a definite go! He ordered in the color that I wanted and within 3 business days, let me know it was ready for pick up! Follow his page if you are out of town and if you are in Topeka, check the shop out sometime. Thanks again Doug!!
