We did go around 2 on a Saturday. I definitely recommend going early in the day. It gets packed out as time goes on. They sell soap and fabric softener. They also have a change machine so no need to worry about quarters. The washers are not cheap so be mindful. The average for a small one is between $4-$6 the bigger ones are $7-$10 but in a pinch it's well worth it. The laundry mat attendant was nice and kept busy cleaning the place. They have a drink and vending machine and a tv was on so it's not a bad place to clean your clothes at all. I'll return if I need to!

Please note that this is not the only Laundromat that has this problem, with the exception of the laundromat that is by Winn Dixie. They have a separate area where condo workers can wash and dry, they do have an attendant there and they make sure the condo workers use just the area they are supposed to use. This Laundromat should set up a designated area just for the condo workers. Most of the time there is no attendant here and the kids the condo workers bring with them run wild. It's like others have said, it's not fair for people that just want to wash their personal laundry have to RACE to the laundromat before the condo workers get there and most times they are already there waiting for it to open.

I went to load my big blankie in the large front loader and saw the price was $7. Ok that's a bit much and I should've looked further down and could've used the $5 ones but I digress. After putting my soap in, I start funneling quarters in and figure I should set it to use hot water....hot water is $1 more! Lol so it is $8 just to wash my blanket. Whatever too late now, so finish filling the quarters, press start and the thing shows a wash time of only 23 minutes! How does my comforter ever have a chance of washing out the dog hair, dog stink, human stench and whatever dna is splashed within its fibers in a measley 23 minutes?! After the pathetic wash cycle I move said blanket to the dryer to find it's another $2 to get this thing going for 30 minutes. I run to my car and find 2 more quarters under my seat to make it $2.50 for 40 minutes and select the hot setting. No biggie here because laundromat dryers get insanely hot so I should be good right? I leave to have lunch, return and the blanket is still wet and I'm out of quarters so I take it home and finish the drying of my still "smells like dog" blanket at home. Guess if I have future washing needs that are too big for my set at home I will have to drive to Spanish fort the next closest facility. Sounds like a good business opportunity to open a new Laundromat and give this place some much needed competition. FAIL!

Bring your own laundry detergent, etc--because while there is a dispenser, it merely takes your money, giving you no product in return. There is NOT an attendant on duty. The phone number to call gets you "Josh", whose voice mail is always full, and does not return your texts. It was actually clean. All of the washers and dryers seemed to be working. Machines range from $3.50-$7.50. Dryers are $0.25 for 5 minutes. Given that I lost money on the detergent machine, it cost me $7 to wash and dry one small load. (Fortunately I had a very small amount of detergent with me. I just had to make it work, in the end)

Because I am located in West Mobile, the clients I service in the Fairhope/Daphne area, I will utilize the local laundrymats and return my clients laundry the same day as a courtesy instead of traveling over and hour back and forth from Fairhope to Mobile! I received an order from a new client in Fairhope. I traveled from West Mobile to service this client and this laundrymat was the closest to her home. i had approximately 100 pounds of laundry to complete! Yes, you read that right, 100 pounds of laundry to do! I arrived at this laundromat at 7:35 PM and was moving at lightning speed, trying to hurry up because the attendant was steady bitching about the fact that I arrived at 7:35 PM and she wasn't gonna stay late, she had already cleaned up, blah, blah blah! Look, it's like this, either you want my business or you don't. Most businesses that I'm familiar with, they exist to make money, however, this business does not! Those large capacity machines are each $5.00. I needed 10 machines just to wash the clothes. Then you have the money to be made from the dryers! The attendant was just beside herself that she was not going to stay late and I needed to leave so she contacted the manager But the manager,, mind you not the owner, the manager was contacted by the attendant, and the manager stated to me, when I asked her the question, do you want my business or not, she said, SHE DID NOT! She had the attendant unload, all of my unwashed clothes that I had already loaded into the large capacity machines, bag them up and put them outside! She was successful with one goal; close at 8:45 pm! Not only will I never return to this busines, I will tell everyone of my colleagues to not patronize this business!
