Got a cold call from their sales team promising a bunch of free promotional items, catalog, gloves, safety glasses, hand cleaner. I figured sure, why not. Then a second call came to "confirm my address" and that's when they slipped in that they'd be throwing in 50 reciprocating blades for $437 that I could "easily return" and just keep the free stuff. When I tried to do exactly that, I was promised a callback from a sales specialist that never came. Took two formal emails and multiple phone calls just to get an RMA started. When they finally sent it, it had the wrong contractor information. Instead of fixing it, they called a month later threatening the full invoice plus a penalty for a return delay they caused. Had to wait another three weeks for corrected paperwork. This is a predatory sales tactic targeting contractors. The whole setup is designed to make returning the product as painful as possible so you just pay the invoice. If you get a cold call from these guys, hang up. read more

But they started calling every week with another "deal" or "special sale". I even had one guy call and break down in tears because he "needed to make a sale". Their sales people are relentless. I purchased some drill bits a year or so ago from them, they supposedly came with a replacement guarantee, I received a call from one of their reps and mentioned that I needed a few new ones, he promised to ship them but I never did receive them, in addition, they tried to sell me some Duo sockets metric/sae sized, their price was $200.00 for the set, you can buy these all day long from other online sources for $60.00-$80.00 for the exact same set, no difference, I received another call from a rep offering to sell me something else, I told him that his prices were completely out of line, he was offended by that and hung up, I believe that is the way to get rid of these people, just tell them that their prices are way too high, do not buy anything from them until you double check their prices. read more

I was able to contact someone in customer service and she was very pleasant and claimed my number and "account" would be removed. Fingers crossed. Sent me a drill bit set and told me I had 30 days to try it out and if I didn't like them I could send them back. They charged me double what my normal bits cost, so I expected them to be twice as good. I decided to test Ace's viper bits out against my usual brand Drill Co. I used both drill bits to drill 75 holes through 1/4" steel. Ace's viper bits did slightly worse. I called and told them I wanted to send the bits back, I told them they were not as good as they advised me they were. After 3 long phone calls they agreed to refund a partial amount and I keep the bits. I have yet to receive that refund and I'm not going to hold my breath ether, I consider the money gone. I'm sure they do this on purpose and hope people like me give up because they have better uses of their time. TL;DR? Squandered a couple hundred on junk, seems this company will say anything to make a buck. Stay away. read more

After a phone call saying they would send out a sample for the grinding wheels and trying to sell me more stuff, I said I would think about it- a new person then called to ask if shipping address was right, I said no thank you that after I read the reviews about how its a scam they kept pushing, i then hung up on them, a few days later I get the box and a few days after an invoice. My office tried to call to get an RMA and explanned that we didn't want it and that the price was way diffrent then was said- the guy said they needed to turn it into a sales rep and if they don't call in a few days for us to call back. We said nope just do the RMA now we already talked to them yesterday- he started yelling that there was nothing noted about them calling us and that an RMA would take a week anyways. I own a small company and they want to sell large loads of things often that I don't always need. Someone from there customer service team just called me and was angry with me for not buying anything from them in awhile. They have now completely lost my business. I was sold a plasma cutter that was supposed to be a 6000.00 unit. I was supposed to receive 600.00 dollars of accessories with it. I received a 276.00 dollar plasma cutter. I have tried to get this resolved with them for a month. I have called them and they say someone will call me back. I have received no calls I have emailed them with no response. So a month later they pulled 1975.00 dollars out of my account without my authorization. I contacted my bank and started a dispute on the charges. After the bank got involved I finally received a call from them. They said when they receive the cutter back they would refund my money. I have read a lot of reviews about this company telling people that they never received the product back so they won't refund the money. I am sending this cutter back with signature required by ups. I'll let you know how it goes. Bottom line don't get involved with this company. You will regret it. Wish I could give negative 100. Stars.
