I work as a ranch hand at a pig farm and we are in a relatively remote area. We got a call from Ace Industrial Supply and they shipped us a socket set. We hate driving into town to get anything if we don't have to. The package arrived in a few days and I'm happy about the lifetime guarantee. Thank you kindly. read more

Got a cold call from their sales team promising a bunch of free promotional items, catalog, gloves, safety glasses, hand cleaner. I figured sure, why not. Then a second call came to "confirm my address" and that's when they slipped in that they'd be throwing in 50 reciprocating blades for $437 that I could "easily return" and just keep the free stuff. When I tried to do exactly that, I was promised a callback from a sales specialist that never came. Took two formal emails and multiple phone calls just to get an RMA started. When they finally sent it, it had the wrong contractor information. Instead of fixing it, they called a month later threatening the full invoice plus a penalty for a return delay they caused. Had to wait another three weeks for corrected paperwork. This is a predatory sales tactic targeting contractors. The whole setup is designed to make returning the product as painful as possible so you just pay the invoice. If you get a cold call from these guys, hang up. read more

Over charge on everything and won't stop calling after you tell them repeatedly to take our business off their call list.

Beware SCAM!! This company sends you products that you don't want then threatens to attack your credit for not wanting to buy their product. The company refuses to send me a shipping label to send back their product and expects me to pay for the shipping. To top it off they threaten to report it to collectors for not returning their product...... Don't give them your address or any information. read more

Ace Industrial Supply - Building Supplies Near Me - Burbank, California

SCAM !!!! Like many others posted, they sent me "free" products to try out and promised a free return label if I did not LOVE their crappy bits. I asked for the return label many many times. They completely ghosted me, only sending me attempts to collect on their overpriced products. After a year of fighting with them, ended up just having to pay up as it was just not enough to pursue legally but still extremely annoying. DO NOT EVER ACCEPT THEIR FREE PRODUCTS DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ADDRESS. THEY ARE OUT TO SCAM AND DO DIRTY BUSINESS. read more

In house: drugs, nepotism, pregnancies, affairs. Out of the warehouse: quadruple priced dog shit, ridiculously bad quality of products, orders made & sent under "customer's" names that were never spoken to in order to "hit quotas" which actually meant "get your bonus check". Worked there 5 years ago, got called for a fishing scam by them myself today. read more

"THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAM ARTISTS - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY" They'll call and fast talk with free products if you buy a given product and their invoices are bundle priced on the one item you agree to making it difficult to determine actual pricing breakdown. The products they send out are nowhere near the quality they promote them to be. I gave them multiple opportunities to correct misrepresented products they sent out with no results and they refuse to offer return options. read more

Sent a product I never ordered. I called got some Spanish lady who was unbelievably rude. She started off by calling me a liar about ordering the product then told me she was going to send me to collections. I told her the product just came in today and I want to send it back its not our product. When I asked for the address she hung up on me. read more

BAD sales tactics of sending "Samples" that cost a fortune. Trying to return it results in threats of sending your company to collections, but proof shows that the "samples" were not requested in the first place, as evidenced by their multiple lawsuits. They will hang up abruptly if the phone call isn't working out in their favor. They cold call, which there's nothing inherently wrong with cold calling, but their dishonesty, unprofessionalism, and poor customer service scare customers away. They've rightfully earned their low ratings online. read more

Excelent customer service Rep kept her word . Good product especially the saw blades. Will do business again .

This is not a legitmate business and they consistently push unordered goods onto small businesses by cold calling and tricking secretaties into providing payment information. They even have a fake collection agency for threatening people that refuse to pay for unordered goods. read more

Scam....Im taking this to police dept....Stated, we don't want your product, you send it anyhow, with no return label ( so tricky, LAME!) now trying to threaten a warrant ??? Never agreed to pay for anything from your company. This is the most shameful way for a company to make money. read more

Absolutely AWEFUL company to deal with! I would give them ZERO stars if I could! I bought a few products a couple of years ago. Things were fine at first. But they started calling every week with another "deal" or "special sale". I even had one guy call and break down in tears because he "needed to make a sale". Their sales people are relentless. A new person calls each time pretending to be your best friend. They talk all nice and friendly until you say "No, Not interested" and then they turn on you and attack you personally. I have tried and tried to be removed from their contact list, asked/demanded to be put on their "Do Not Contact" list etc. but they continue to call. I honestly don't know how this company is still in business! I will NOT, under ANY circumstances be giving them any more of my business and I would NOT recommend that anyone else should purchase from them. read more

The sales people are awesome to speak to, and that is where it ends. The person in payments needs to be fired. Rude condescending is dragging down the company. The company has no corporate email address and they have been in business for 19 years??? I was told by the person in payments that the people who write bad reviews are the people who don't pay their bills. I mean seriously who says that? Stay far away from this company. read more

Do not deal with this company. some products are good, but when trying to return misrepresented products they will not help. Just send to collections for something you just want to return. Very hard to deal with after the sales call. read more

Quit calling wanting to hawk your overinflated junk. Sent us a "free" tool package after I refused it and my front office refused it. Tried to send back and they sent us to a debt collector. We held their little box of junk hostage and finally they sent us a return label. 6 months later they still think we owe them money. California needs to shut this scam company down. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR ACCEPT ANY FREE STUFF AS IT IS OVERINFLATED IN PRICE BY 1000% AND THE TOOLS ARE 100 PERCENT CHINESE KNOCK OFFS. read more

I purchased some drill bits a year or so ago from them, they supposedly came with a replacement guarantee, I received a call from one of their reps and mentioned that I needed a few new ones, he promised to ship them but I never did receive them, in addition, they tried to sell me some Duo sockets metric/sae sized, their price was $200.00 for the set, you can buy these all day long from other online sources for $60.00-$80.00 for the exact same set, no difference, I received another call from a rep offering to sell me something else, I told him that his prices were completely out of line, he was offended by that and hung up, I believe that is the way to get rid of these people, just tell them that their prices are way too high, do not buy anything from them until you double check their prices. read more

This place is nothing but a bunch of shady sales people that will call hoping to talk to a new employee hoping to say something like we will send you this to try. The new employee will then say sure we will try it and the next thing you know their product will show up with an overpriced bill attached when the employee thought it was going to be a free sample to try. Like every one else here reviewing ACE Industrial. This company will harrass and call over and over after you've asked them to put you on a do not call list. They are a scam company. Every time someone calls from a local number they are rude and will hang up on you when you decline them and their pushy sales pitch. FINALLY today after 2 years of harrassment, I was given a 1-800-223-3129 number to be placed on a DNC list. I was able to contact someone in customer service and she was very pleasant and claimed my number and "account" would be removed. Fingers crossed. I urge everyone to call the above number and do the same. Enough is enough. read more

Do no use they keep harassing us!! They call constantly from different numbers in your home state total scammer's. Sent me a drill bit set and told me I had 30 days to try it out and if I didn't like them I could send them back. They charged me double what my normal bits cost, so I expected them to be twice as good. I decided to test Ace's viper bits out against my usual brand Drill Co. I used both drill bits to drill 75 holes through 1/4" steel. Ace's viper bits did slightly worse. I called and told them I wanted to send the bits back, I told them they were not as good as they advised me they were. After 3 long phone calls they agreed to refund a partial amount and I keep the bits. I have yet to receive that refund and I'm not going to hold my breath ether, I consider the money gone. I'm sure they do this on purpose and hope people like me give up because they have better uses of their time. TL;DR? Squandered a couple hundred on junk, seems this company will say anything to make a buck. Stay away. read more

After a phone call saying they would send out a sample for the grinding wheels and trying to sell me more stuff, I said I would think about it- a new person then called to ask if shipping address was right, I said no thank you that after I read the reviews about how its a scam they kept pushing, i then hung up on them, a few days later I get the box and a few days after an invoice. My office tried to call to get an RMA and explanned that we didn't want it and that the price was way diffrent then was said- the guy said they needed to turn it into a sales rep and if they don't call in a few days for us to call back. We said nope just do the RMA now we already talked to them yesterday- he started yelling that there was nothing noted about them calling us and that an RMA would take a week anyways. They said nope just give us the RMA we didn't want to deal with any more people, He then became anger and started yelling " are you telling me how to do my job" the office staff just just hung up after it was clear this guy was not going to stop yelling. - Office even tried to call back hoping to get someone different and was sent to voicemail We were just being nice and trying to get your stuff back- we have not giving any information about billing and have all the documents showing that we never wanted anything and that we tried to ship it back- read more

I have had good experience and bad experience with these guys, mostly bad. They are BIG into pressure sales. I own a small company and they want to sell large loads of things often that I don't always need. Someone from there customer service team just called me and was angry with me for not buying anything from them in awhile. They have now completely lost my business. When I gave him feedback on the fact they the salesmen don't even know what I do to sell me tools that I use on a day to day basis he said "what are my salesmen supposed to know your blood type" and shortly there after he hung up the phone on me. read more

Really sorry that I didn't check the ratings of that so called Ace Industrial Supply company. I would give them ZERO star rating if I could for their sells team, quality of products and prices. Unfortunately I didn't check that until now. They keep calling you from different phone numbers so you lost track and eventually pick up your phone. Playing cheap selling technics to get you something to buy and later realizing that you paid double for very poor quality products. Believe me, you will get ripped off for quality you will receive versus price you paid. This is hands down the worst supplier you will ever get in touch with. 100% pure scam. They need be closed down for good! read more
