We needed a sub-panel, outlets, and exterior lighting for our new garage. We made a few calls and got a few estimates. Ace Electric was the best choice! Price-wise they were competitive, not the least expensive but not the highest either. We really liked the estimator, the office staff, and any employee who crossed our path. Based on other reviews we read, Ace was the best choice. Ace handled the entire transaction from start to finish with ease (permit, etc.). The crew arrived on time and finished the job quicker than expected. Our garage is now wired and ready for garage doors! read more

Ace Electric - New sub-panel. - Electricians Near Me - Sarasota, Florida

Experts with fair pricing. They helped me after my house was struck by lightning. It was awhile back, and they were able to help timely.

Took 3 hours ( generating a $645 charge) to discover the loss of power in a line that was severed by the hurricane to the dock was a wall switch inside the house that was turned off. Then sent a proposal to restore power to dock that was 10 X higher than what was paid to a competitor who completed the job. read more

I used them many times. They're not always perfect but any mistakes that have ever been made they corrected immediately. Great value for money and honest within you in both price point and service read more

Great service and very thoughtful people. We've been using them for several years now and they are always on time, ready to get to work and get the job done efficiently. They also are careful of furniture, floors and walls and clean up thoroughly after each job. read more

Kind customer service, quick response, job completed as promised, fair pricing. Service men were great.

This company is great! We needed a GFI installed and called around. Other companies wanted to come and give estimates and then schedule the work. Ace provided rates over the phone, set up an appointment and just came and got the GFI installed. We needed more work done, and again, this time they quoted by email, we agreed and they sent two friendly guys to do the job plus some add on items we remembered after the fact. Adam and Phill were honest, respectful, and great all around and had the job done quick and right. Jo in the office was so helpful in setting everything up. Highly recommend Ace as your next phone call to do the electric job you need! read more

We hired ACE for 3 projects: install a charger in our garage for our electric car, add an outlet in our master bath for a newly purchased bidet, and add a wall outlet for a tv. Tim & Stephen were the two electricians who performed the work, & were professional, friendly, & did an excellent job on all 3 projects. Highly impressed with their work and results. read more

The recent fixture installation exceeded my expectations. Not only were the electricians cordial and knowledgeable, they were efficient and did a beautiful job. This job involved hanging a fixture twenty-two feet above the floor AND above a staircase. This is not the first time they have performed work at my house and I would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

I lost power during hurricane Milton due to my powerlines from my house being compromised during the storm. I had to wait for Florida Power for a while to come and disconnect the lines and the next morning after the lines were disconnected. I got up and started looking for the electrician and I called Ace Electric and boy am I glad I did. They came the same day I called within a couple of hours during a massive hurricane and took care of my issues with ease and within an hour or so I was back Aaron and Mason and Michael were the most professional kind and courteous gentleman I've ever had to deal with in such a stressful situation. The fees I paid for my service was very reasonable. I am very please with all interaction I had with Ace Electric. This company is an amazing company and their staff are very very knowledgeable and very very professional. I felt very comfortable having Mason and Aaron at my home. I highly recommend this company if you're in need of an electrician please call Ace Electric. read more

Ace Electric, you are in the right place!! They exceeded all expectations. Just had a whole lot of work done (installed/replaced old plugs, light switches, dimmers, "can lights", and a lighted medicine cabinet). They repaired work incorrectly done by others, too. There was no damage to the walls or the paint. I am absolutely thrilled with the work. Steve and Joe were professional, polite, nice, clean, neat, organized, found problems and fixed them before I even knew the issue was there! I wish all contractors worked this way. I cannot speak highly enough. I almost want to find more work just cause they were that good! They definitely set the bar high. What a pleasure working with this company. read more

Ace was fantastic from the very first phone call. The young lady made special arrangements to fit us in their busy schedule. The electricians were quick to determine what the best solution was and complete professionals. The best part was the very fair pricing. Highly recommended. Thank you Ace electric team! read more

My electricity went off at 11pm. No air running and no cold water from the dispenser. No fans running. I have a severe medical condition due to cancer. It was the worst night. Count sleep sweating and tossing. Next morning I called Ace electric and within the hour they came and replaced the breakers. I couldn't have been happier. Reasonably priced too. read more

We recently had 4 outdoor light sconces on a photo cell installed. The guys did a great job. They were friendly, worked clean and the lights look and work great. All this for about half the price from a big name competitor! I highly recommend. read more

Just had Monty of Ace Electric to repair several outlets that stopped working and trouble shot other outlets that have never worked. He was able to diagnose the problem immediately and had the spare parts needed on truck to repair quickly and fix other electrical jobs that I needed but had not addressed until now. Polite, efficient and pleasant. Will definitely recommend and use again. read more

I highly recommend Ace Electric. They installed new can lights in the ceiling, and moved a delicate chandelier. Jared and his team did a great job at the best price. Very efficient and great cleanup. Couldn't be more satisfied. We will definitely use them again read more

Moved to Sarasota from Massachusetts and needed an electrical contractor for a number of wiring issues in our new home. We had 5 local electricians come by to give us quotes, as well as give us ideas on how to conceal a lot of tv wires in a tricky spot in the family room. Bob by far, was the most experienced and resourceful in coming up with the best solutions for our home. He was candid and let us know we actually didn't need a new panel like another electric company tried to upgrade us to. His quote and pricing was the best in the Sarasota area which was great based on how experienced he is. All the work took a 4 hour window and Terry and Jessie were incredibly competent and saved us additional money, finding ways to take care of things we needed the easy way based on the great knowledge they have. Working with the office regarding appointments and billing was a pleasure as well. We highly recommend this company for all electrical needs and are so happy we did the work comparing 5 local electrical companies, until finding Ace. Thank you all for such incredible job & such peace of mind, all at a very affordable price! John and Diana read more

ace. was a sub contractor in a remodel project of our condo, these guys are the worst ! the missed a bunch of things in the pre drywall stage - no big deal the just cut big holes in all the new freshly painted and finished drywall . they were hired hourly by our contractor - they are the slowest or most inexperienced , took them twice as long as it should have and it was wrong. almost half of the job had to be corrected or installed after the drywall was up. our contractor had to have the drywall and painting contractors come back a couple times to fix what they did wrong from the start . all they are good at is fluffing the over charged invoices. they alway bill for a 2 man crew 1 is suppose to be a master electrician ( billed at 150 hour. paid $30 an hour ). helper billed at 100 hour paid 18-22 hour then they charge 80 trip fee. and charge for gloves and shoe covers which they never had . most unprofessional of all the trades in our project. would never use them again. or even use our GC if they were involved in the project. read more

Great company, great owner, great employees, great work, great service! Always a pleasure doing business with you and your teams: respectful, smart, efficient, resourceful and well worth the price! read more

ACE really came through for me recently. Instead of selling me a full breaker box replacement or even a brand new cover that wouldn't work, they took the time to fix what was wrong with my current outside cover. This was an incredibly cheaper solution and all I needed. I'm very impressed with Brian and ACE. read more

Highly recommend for their professionalism, honesty, and workmanship. The pricing was very competitive as well. Not the lowest, but you know the saying "you get what you pay for" and I have never had the best experience when going the cheapest route. All that said, we are very pleased with the work Ace did for us and the overall experience with them was smooth and positive. Easy peasy. read more

These reviews are probably bogus. While the work quality is okay, their prices are absurdly high. " best price & fair on price?" No way .They overcharge whenever they can for parts and time spent. They don't answer emails - tried 3 times & never a response. read more

Ace Electric was contracted to connect 2 interior (closed Lanai) GFIC outlets to outdoor sites. The initial installation failed and ACE promptly sent a troubleshooting team to resolve the problem. They were professional and methodically determined what the problem was and corrected it. I questioned some of the details in the initial invoice and Ace Electric listened and agreed to make a satisfactory adjustment. That alone would have me give them repeat business. On a practical basis, few contracting jobs run 100% smoothly and the worth of the contractor has to be based on how he (they) handle and resolve those issues. Ace gets 5 stars on that. Their back up crew was neat, professional and knowledgeable. Thanks ACE. read more

These guys are the best. We have had Jacob, Chip, Monty and Beau. All great. Quick responses. Had them in Longboat and in Sarasota. Fair on price and they do great work. read more

We were directed to use Ace Electric by Light Up Your LIfe where we bought out new fixture. The installers Jared and Edward did an excellent job installing the fixture. My husband was not happy with the height and then Eric and Jake came out and did an outstanding job also, correcting the height. Both times, they got a broom and dustpan and swept up any particles that dropped on the floor. I would highly recommend them for any electrical problem. read more

This company was very very good. They showed up right on time at 9 am. Two electricians came, Jared and Rich. They took care of every single issue we had in a timely professional manner. One major issue was adding 2 additional circuits in our ODK through concrete walls. I would highly recommend them based on my experience today. read more
