Came in to look for diamond studs, and everyone was so welcoming and helpful! The sales girls' knowledge was super extensive. Didn't end up purchasing anything at the time, but I will definitely be back to buy some diamond studs very soon! Highly recommend, since I'm all about local/family owned businesses and these guys have been here for a very long time and know what they're doing! read more

I bought around $5000 worth of jewelry there. Around five months later, I wanted to sell it back to them for any kind of offer. They wouldn't even make an offer on the jewelry that they sold me! Don't ever come here guys! read more

I was greeted and treated respectfully when I sold a gold chain for a fair price. The store was clean and display cases were well lit.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Wonderful staff, very friendly. We felt like family. Came in to add another band for 10 year anniversary. Ended up re-working my current ring and adding an extra band to create my fairytale ring. Cost was very fair. Thank you Ace! read more

Ace Diamond Jewelers - Jewelry Near Me - Dearborn, Michigan

Anna is amazing! She has helped design several pieces for me. The jewelry holds up well and always looks amazing. Great prices and they always willing to help with repairs. I drive an hour to come here. read more

DO NOT PATRONIZE!! Prejudice; Terrible. I took my 41mm rose gold datejust Rolex in for potential loan prices, young guy condescendingly looks at my watch and insinuated that it was fake. Said "it's not sweeping..where did you get it from?" LOL mind you, this is an official Rolex purchased from the actual Rolex store...I wanted to go back with the box & paperwork just to shut him up but he's a waste of my time. This makes me question the authenticity of everything they sell. Young guy then says " we usually don't loan on Rolex's" LMAO well what DO you loan on then??! CRAZY!!! read more

We found this business via eBay -- their eBay username is diamondten. I have never been to their store, or anywhere in the whole midwest actually. They list a lot of very affordable jewelry on eBay and their website. I found the perfect antique Art Deco filigree ring in their eBay store and BF ended up winning it! After we received it, he took it to a local jeweler (see my review for J Sahadi Jeweler) to have it checked out and sized. I could see an inclusion that was definitely not visible in the photos online (it really depends what exact angle you are looking from), but the description online did list the cut and clarity accurately. It was all documented in two official docs from EGL and AGS. Then the jeweler told us it was actually 18K and not platinum as the listing described, and we asked the eBay seller what the deal was. They apologized and said it was a mistake because nearly every single one of the antique rings they sell are platinum and this one got labeled wrong. They offered a full refund including shipping, but I wanted to keep it, so now we have worked out an agreement for a discount on a future purchase instead. Very responsive and accommodating customer service. After we got the appraisal, we saw that it was valued around triple what BF paid for it online! So, platinum or not, that definitely made us happy. And the ring is beautiful. read more

Was excited and looking forward to coming here all day and getting my ring finger sized. No one here greets you when you walk in or even smiles. Very unwelcoming place. Go anywhere else read more

Came to sell a gold bracelet, had the certificate and everything. Instead of the man telling me he can't afford it, he tried to tell me it was fake. Is that so? Because when I came a few months ago another man at this exact establishment gave me an estimate.. I just wasn't ready to sell to at the time and was looking to see how much it's worth. I think it's pretty unprofessional that he couldn't tell it was real. I mean it was obvious, he though he could lie to me. Just a tip, if you can't afford buying diamonds and gold please don't advertise that you do. Im upset my husband has bought my ring and many other diamonds from here. I can't trust them with this mans judgment. Will never purchase from here again. read more

This place is awful, the customer service is terrible! I realize taking a piece of jewelry purchased elsewhere in for repair isn't the best idea, but I took my ring in that I received as a gift to be fixed today. The gemstone had fallen out. Upon waking in I was greeted and told to have a seat while I wait in an entirely empty store, after 5 minutes I heard a woman loudly complaining about having something in her eye to another employee, this convo went on for another 5 minutes while I and another woman now waited, after she finished with her eye problem she finally came to the floor to help me. my ring was a simple square pink diamond in a white gold setting with tiny diamonds on the band, one I wore everyday for over a year, she takes one glance at it and tells me there's no way that stone came out of that setting.... When I assured her that it had seeing as I've been wearing it non stop, she told me it wasn't possible and to take it back to where I got it or they could rebuild a new one... She handed it back to me and went on to the next woman... She made me feel like I was trying to get away with something and made me feel as if I was being dishonest when all I wanted was a repair.. Please don't go here! read more

We have bought several things from this jeweler and have come away completely satisfied and extremely happy every time. Their prices are fair and selection is very good. In my opinion what sets them apart is the service they provide. Just very knowledgeable and fair people, I never once got the feeling that I was being taken advantage of or getting screwed in any way. read more

Inherited my grandfathers watch, have in the past patronized Ace lets move forward was told watch would have to be sent out to Rolex repair and cost would be very high you think Rolex. Proceeded to Korvettes in Dearborn on Warren, explain to them what Ace stated was not the case. My grandfather was blind therefore it is a dual watch, the watch isn't made in the USA, that I did not know until reputable Korvettes mentioned it. Nevertheless thank you to Yelp and reviews, I'm done also, 27 years ago Ace was ran like a company that valued their customers, those times have obviously changed. Should have said yes watch working as it should was no need to send to Rolex, really. Please Ace I'll pass on your new staff speech, seeing how it wasn't a new staff person that made the statement, it was someone that was there 27 years ago........ read more

Anna is my go to person, she always takes care of me. I purchased my fiancé's engagement ring from them and also got her wedding band. Everything has been perfect. Also got my bands from them and a gold rope chain. They always give the best service and I feel like I'm part of the family. read more

Ace Jewelers is a very nice store to purchase engagement/wedding rings from. They specialize in diamonds and have a medium sized store with other things as well. Their selection of engagement rings are very one of a kind and unique, unlike the cookie cutter big chains. Their customer service is ok, it really depends on who you work with. My favorite salesman Hugh, left the sales floor and is now behind the scenes, so I've dealt with some of the others and they go from "ok" service to "b****y" service. The prices you can't beat though and the quality of their work is the best! They can take a small idea and create a beautiful piece of jewelry. They have their own repair shop in the store. I would recommend them. If they had better customer service, they would be the very best, but I grin and bare it because I know the quality of the product is there. And they really will do anything to make the you happy on a custom piece, even if it means starting over from scratch. read more

my husband bought my engagement ring and wedding band from ace. I've been there 3 times in less than a year from the little stones around my diamond falling out. They kindly replaced them every time, but Recently another little stone fell out, I went to another jeweler for a second opinion, after showing me my ring under a microscope like a professional he told me shocking news...come to find out Ace has been replacing my lost stones with CZ'S instead!!!!!!! Who does that?? Thieves do that. NEVER GO THERE EVERRRR!!! very dissapointing and sad that a jewelry store that my family has gone to for years does this to people who spend so much money. Maybe I'll call fox 2 News and put you on the wall of shame where you belong!! read more

In 15K transaction I had on eBay for a diamond from ACE DIAMOND JEWELERS in Michigan that turned out not to be what was described and seller was very deceitful and disrespectful, he made 38 harassing calls and when I occasionally pick up he will cuss me out this is after he refused to refund the item and shipping cost, I left him a negative feedback. eBay immediately removed the negative feedback for him and in turn enabling him to continue his deceitful practice. I was careful to spot and discover seller's deceitfulness but many more may not be so lucky. When I called eBay they cited that my history of occasional leaving feedback prompted them to do so. Of course I leave negative feedback to deceitful sellers. I don't find money on trees. read more

Horrible. If I could give zero stars it would still be too generous of a review. My husband bought my wedding jewelry and three other pieces of jewelry at ace over the last 15 years. My engagement stone felt loose so I brought it in for a check. On inspection, one of the prongs was broken. I was told I could have the prong fixed for $35. I paid to have it fixed and it broke a few weeks later. Again, I brought it in and was told by the jeweler he would fix it for $50. I asked why there was a discrepancy in costs seeing it was the same fix each time and also why wasn't this cost covered since I had purchased the ring from them and it had been less than five years. They told me it was because I was rough with my ring and that they can't keep a business open if they had to fix all of their jewelry for free. I refused to pay for another repair and am in the process of seeking a new jeweler. Based on some of these other reviews, I'm almost afraid of what a new jeweler might discover. read more

Ace Diamond Jewelers is one of the best Jewelry companies i have ever been too. I was recommend by a friend to go and buy a Pandora Bracelet. When i walked into Ace they welcomed me instantly. I was instantly asked if I wanted to look at anything. They offer and very nice and wide variety of all kinds of jewelry. i felt safe and i felt that they had knowledge of the product i wanted. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and finding out they have been in business for 30+ years having 2 other locations. Great customer service, wonderful employees, and magnificent deals. I recommend Ace Diamond Jewelers to anyone who wants to get the best for there money. Who wants a company with knowledge of there product and great deals go to ACE!!!!! you won't be disappointed and you won't be upset. I known only go to Ace to get jewelry. My go-to jeweler for Pandora beads. You have to be buzzed in even though it's in a pretty safe neighborhood.

Have been shopping at ACE for many years and always 100% satisfied. They treat you like family.

Ace diamond jewelers ruined my christmas. Ace diamond jewelers is a rip-off. These are the worst people I have ever dealt with, they sold me a broken rolex and tried saying it was dead from sitting,...ya right! Then they didnt wanna give me a refund cause I paid in cash and they only like to deal with credit cards....They are a bunch of lying con-artist. Look them up on ebay and see the junk they are selling and the negative feedback for selling fakes and junk. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Very dissapointed in the customer service. I broke my finger a year ago, & their jeweler cut if off assuring me that it could be fixed. A year later Ace (managers included) tell me that they have no idea who cut my ring off and that it can't be fixed. Pretty much called me a liar. They offered to remake it for me for a huge price ($5k) or buy an upgraded ring. How convenient for them! I left in tears, took it to a experienced jeweler who gladly repaired it for me with a laser and said it was a very simple repair. Ace told me "your rings are trash". I'm so glad I had another person look at them, because now I have my beautiful "trash" back on my hand for only $100 repair. He also informed me that a lot of my diamonds have been switched out for CZ. Ace is the only place I have taken my ring too to replace lost diamonds. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Worst customer service experience I have ever had!!! read more

I picked up my ring and it still was not correct. I asked to speak with a manager and they said there wasn't one there. I asked when they worked so I could call and speak with them. The workers said they could not give out this information. All I can say is this business is SHADY. Please stay away. read more

I have had multiple poor experiences with this jeweler. Unfortunately my husband insists upon returning. My wedding ring was bought from this store and after wearing it for a few hours three stones fell out. When I returned to the store to have it fixed and sized they informed me the large stone was loose as well and that they would order me a new ring in the correct size instead of resizing the broken one. I was told it would take one to two weeks and the timing was quite a bit longer, upon finally returning to pick up my "new" ring, the place where the diamonds had fallen out appeared to be reinforced as if they just resized my old ring and fixed the spot where the diamonds had fallen out. This would have been totally fine with me if they had not lied to me about replacing the ring in its entirety and taking over three weeks to replace it. On to my next experience, my husband wanted to surprise me with a band, the sales woman was insistent that she recalled my ring and this band would match perfectly however if I needed to exchange the band or size it that would be possible. I called to check about exchanging the ring and getting the correct size and was informed that he was never told that was a possibility and all of the sales are final. I am beyond frustrated with this store and I would not recommend shopping here to anyone. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Anna to pick out a new setting for my diamond wedding ring. They have a huge selection of semi mounts and it took me over an hour to decide. A family owned and operated business that goes above and beyond to satisfy the customer. Check them out, I'm glad I did!

Purchased a very expensive platinum engamnet ring only to find out later that it is actually white gold. When I worked with them to fix they treated me horribly and acted like I was lying despite the reciept and appraisal to prove. I asked for the owner a dozen times and I was never able to speak with until the very end and then he said he'd call me in two weeks, and guess what...never heard from him. Their quality control and customer services is seriosly poor at best. read more

I purchased an engagement ring at ACE, and was amazed at how great the experience was. The staff gave me a full education on Diamonds, Settings, Metals, and much more. After visiting a myriad of jewelers, I found myself back at ACE for two reasons. 1) The Staff - They were very professional, polite, and patient with me. I am an accountant, and overload myself with information when making large decisions. 2) The merchandise - ACE has a large array of jewelry. They are able to offer options for all styles and price ranges. ACE provided me with their knowledge, patience, and an incredible ring. I know that my fiancee and I will be going back to ACE for years to come!! read more

We had such a great experience with Ace Jewelers. My husband is from the Detroit area and Ace was the place recommended to go to. It's easy to understand why they've been in business for so long. Everyone there is so nice and helpful, especially Todd who took care of us. He made it easy to pick out the diamond, design a setting, and make the ring I absolutely love. If we had any questions or concerns, Todd and the staff took care of them and made themselves available at all times. Highly recommend. Thanks Todd! read more
