He was able to schedule me in very quick and was on time and provided great services. He was very knowledgeable about pool and even told me I was using a Chinese white pool ball that has been leaving marks on the table to to upgrade to a Belgium white pool ball. He and a worker were able to take apart my pool Table within 20 minutes and loaded it up in his truck and followed me to the storage to to help pack it up. I find it hard to believe that this service has any stars whatsoever Has to be BS reviews.would give Negative stars if possible. Here's why: made an appointment for them a week ahead of time.Flaked out on the first apt when they were scheduled to put felt on our table and said they ordered the wrong size. Recheduled for a week out. didn't show up on that day either. when called the next day -said they would come and finish no matter how long it would take. (Bullshit) Showed up at our customers house at almost 8 at night and wanted to take things with them giving us excuses about how busy they were (not my problem ) told them it had to be done that night as they promised and they said they would call back. Mark did not call back and did not do the job- just left customers hanging. Out of good faith he was called again and asked to redeem the job. No reply from the spineless owner. If you want flaky people who make a lot of excuses and charge too much money these are your guys. I chose to find a new contractor and give them all of my pool table acts. Bye bye weirdos read more

My dad had a table custom built 35 years ago. Mark put new felt, rails, and pockets on it. He matched internet pricing on a new set of balls as well. The table looks better than new and plays great. Mark and his assistant came to deliver and set up our table today. They were very friendly, so professional, and they really did a great job. I was here and saw the process, he was very meticulous, made sure it was perfectly level and square to the walls. They cleaned up after themselves, showed me how to brush it, left me with his brush since it was broken in and the new one was just too rough, told me how to clean it, how often I needed to Vacuum it and everything else. I bought a pool table off of Craigslist so I called a few places to get quotes to move it and get it set up. Ace Billiards not only had the best price, but the owner Mark was happy to work with my schedule. They broke it down in about 40 minutes. When they got to my house, they were extra careful to not scratch the floors. He also showed me where the last installer cut corners. Whoever installed the table originally used spray glue to help keep the felt down, used Bondo to seal the gaps and there were stripped out screw holes that held down the slate. He removed all the Bondo and spray glue. He also put all the correct size screws into the table to keep the slate in place. Then when it came time to level the table, he was very precise. They leveled the table and the play surface. Since my felt was still in good shape, he reused it. The felt looks and plays better now than ever. The entire time, Mark was telling me all kinds of great info on how to prolong the life of my felt, table, pool sticks, etc. He definitely knows his stuff and enjoys what he does. Overall, a great experience, I would definitely recommend them. read more
