I had an accident and broke off one of my toenails a few months ago, so it had been a while since I had a pedicure. Needed to wait until I had something to work with first. I called ahead to make sure they could take me, and it was no problem on a Friday afternoon. A quiet gentleman named Andy worked on me, and when I asked if I could glue an extension onto the broken nail, he suggested UV gel instead. While the heat curing didn't feel great, I'm sure it's because it's still sensitive. He did a great job matching the other toenail in shape and length, and it's not overly thick. As I was getting to the end, more people came in for their appointments, and it filled up, so my timing was lucky. Overall I'm very pleased with the work and cleanliness of everything. read more

I came from another salon upset about how my pedi turned out. I get acrylic on my big toe and the other salon completely butchered it. I came in here asking to have it fixed and she did EXACTLY what I asked for. I left very happy the shape is beautiful!! Definitely coming here next time. read more

I should have read the negative reviews. For a $40 mani/pedi (not including tip)the experience was highly disappointing. The person I had put little effort into the manicure and pedicure and took little time with the cleaning. My manicure was a poor job as it wasn't evened out and it appeared bumpy. She also did a poor job of cleaning the nail polish residue under my fingers and I had to go home and do that. It was really upsetting to look around and see other people receive better service. Idk if it's just this area, it seems like POC receive lower quality treatment..I've experienced this at more than one place around here so it's beginning to seem like a pattern. I will NEVER go back. I paid $90 for gel mani and pedi and my nails didn't even make it a whole week without chipping. I could not make it back there within first week because of family emergency and my work schedule, so they were going to charge me another $35 to redo my gel manicure that may not last for even a week. I'm obsessed with this place. When I moved from Manhattan, the first thing I did was locate the closest nail salon to my new home and go there. Ace was right up the block and I didn't bother researching it whatsoever before going that first time. Walking in, it was clean and the staff were friendly. I was promptly seated for my mani/pedi, which was done quickly, but not so fast that they rushed through it. While I was getting my manicure, a woman came over asking if I would like a massage. I thought I would treat myself to this little luxury and said yes please. She must have massaged me for 15 solid minutes. Turns out, it's FREE. Yeah so while you are drying your nails or getting your manicure, someone comes over and gives you a massage. IT'S SO GOOD. She's really talented, so it's truly an enjoyable experience. Beyond the incredible massage, the manicures and pedicures come out great and don't chip easily. I have been going about a week and a half without any chipping. That's sort of amazing. I've been here a ton since calling Westchester home, and it's my new favorite place to get pampered. I will say though, you really should make an appointment. I have gone in many, many Sundays just to be told it would be an hour wait or more. I finally figured out that you either don't go Sunday afternoon or you make an appointment. They are always busy and I can see why. The prices are very reasonable and they take AMEX! Tips in cash only, and don't be stingy with the masseuse. Tip her well, she's earned it! read more

I'm beyond impressed. Currently letting my nails dry in the salon as I write this review. The staff is so friendly, service impeccable and the space is very clean and modern. This place is packed on a Friday morning but I made an appointment and was taken right away. John was amazing. The color I choose needed a third coat and he felt it was the actual polish in the bottle he was using so he got a brand new bottle of the same color and started over! Even after I nicked a nail he didnt get annoyed with me and just redid the nail! Also loved my massage while getting my mani. I also loved the male manager/owner. Every person that walked in he treated like an old friend. He was extremely attentive and made me smile. The price is a tad more than I am used to in New York ($40 for a mani pedi) but I thought extremely worth it. My new go-to salon when I visit my family in Eastchester! read more

Went to Ace Nail & Day Spa today to get my eyebrows waxed. Place was not too busy, 5 girls working or less girls. Told the guy at front I wanted my eyebrows waxed, and he said, we are busy come back. Huh? This is the way you treat a customer, disgraceful. He said, come back in 30 minutes. All the times, I've been at nail salons, I have witnessed girls getting up in the middle of a manicure and taken the customer to get their eyebrows waxed. I have never been treated like the way I was treated. Unacceptable. Low class establishment. read more

I would give it zero stars if there was an option. The place is incredibly unwelcoming. They do a pedicure in less than 15 minutes. The technicians are constantly talking in their native language and you wonder if they are talking about you. Lastly the owner expected a tip. Completely avoidable and a negative experience. Very good, clean salon. I'm wary of using salon products so I always bring my own nail tools. I was glad to see that Ace Nails now has individual packets of nail files and buffers, so you can be sure you get a new one. The manicurists move quickly but are careful and meticulous. I have been going to this salon for a few years now. The salon is so clean and the staff are so friendly. I usually get regular manicure and pedicure. I have done the spa pedicure as well which is good. There no appointments required unless you want a specific staff then I would recommend to call to make an appointment. The salon also offers waxing. There is a parking lot available. They have a good selection of nail polish colors. The brand they use is mostly Essie. They also just got brand new chairs for pedicures which I love. I would highly recommend this salon. They are great! read more

Writing this from the pedicure chair... hands down the worst nail salon and service I have ever received. Gel manicure and regular pedicure, $70 +tip for two different people that are assisting me. Woman told me I should not get OPI colors because they are too hard to take off, began to get nasty with me when I said I really just use them for one specific color... no other nail salon has ever had a problem with this. Just went here for the first time after my longtime nail place changed its management. We were seated right away and our nails were started right away. I went with my mom and the next day my moms nails are all infected. I do not think they sterilize their tools here. Normally you would not get an infection on more than one nail. I would have liked to go back but I do not wish to risk infections. read more

I'm not from Eastchester but I stay in town during the week and I have a wedding to go to tomorrow so I decided to get my nails done before work this morning. I asked my friend who lives in the area for a good nail salon and she recommended Ace & Nail. I was a little nervous about going before work since I really only had about an hour and a half to spare and most nail salons take that or more for a simple mani-pedi. I was so impressed with the salon; it's very clean, the employees are extremely nice, and I was in and out in under an hour!! I know some people like to be there for longer but for someone who was short on time & really doesn't like sitting in a nail salon for hours, this shop was PERFECT! Tried this place because it was right by my apartment and now I know I should just stick to Bronxville nails. They charged me $30 for a regular pedicure which was done in a very sloppy manner. Oh and then they yelled at me to pay now like ten times. Won't be returning. read more
